Of course not! I think it is too late to dispute whether Samaina should or should not marry at this point but Munna should at least be informed about the situation. Whoever's bright idea it was to hold back the truth for the sake's of Samaina's wedding is seriously wrong.

Besides love, dedications to each other, intent to be commit and what not, there is one thing that matters in relationships ending up in marriage and that is LUCK. Sometimes you plainly have to be lucky. Maybe Munna & Swati are one of those unlucky couples that do not have luck at their side. Let's see how it rolls out.

If Swathi was serious about Munna should she not have in the first place ,screamed the news to Munna that day at Sameer's house? Instead she calmly said I need to talk to you and didn't show urgency. Munna ofcourse was way too busy and pay attention to that.

If she had shared the info with her friends before at least they would have thought of something.

Next, only Kamya knows and Munna is away at Sameer's house preparing for the wedding. Preethi asked to keep quiet about it was fine according to me because it was too late anyway. She had already been taken for her roka.
At that point what use is it to let Munna know? Would he go and stop the Roka? And knowing this everyone SaMunDit, PreeNa, Kamya would have been devastated.

Some thing in this post I absolutely agree. As a 90s kid, on the the most disturbing things has been for me that the girls in this show are so tightlipped about Rokas and give in too easily to the demands of their family- be it Swati or Naina. I was definitely not like that and expected some sort of rebellion from their side. I could not understand if it meant so much to Swati, why would she go away quietly now. However, I don't want assume anything for her quite yet because we as viewers don't know what the circumstances were for her or maybe she decided on her own that she did not see any future with Munna.

But I could never understand earlier why Naina stood quietly getting engaged to Sharad either, without telling her best friends or anyone else.

I don't believe that Preeti has the right to withhold information from Munna. I don't know who she is to decide that it is too late for Munna to know that his girlfriend is off for marry someone else. In a way, she is doing what is right for Naina and her Family - this way no problem in Naina and Sameer's marriage but was it fair on Munna? I don't believe so. If they told him and he still chose to stay back for Sameer's marriage, then it was something else but to keep him in the dark so that the leads marriage goes without a hitch is not fair at all.

That is why I sayMunna or Swati's feeling are secondary in this show. Nobody cares if they feeling are hurt.

Okay Preethi has no right to decide whether to tell Munna or not..

If you see from her end, would it make sense for Preethi to tell Kamya to go to Sameer's house and tell the news to Munna?

ATM of course Samaina is the priority. It is their wedding. Can you imagine what the scenario would be like if Kamya right then went and told Munna about Swathi's roka. Will he be the way he is now ? Won't he be upset and won't that affect Sameer? And the entire wedding atmosphere? How will Sameer get married happily knowing his best friend's condition?

Appukrish, Something you said i agree with but in the healthy quest for debate, for other things I do not.

I am the fan of the show, not just fan of Sameer and Naina. So when I look at the scenario on the whole, I think it was wrong not to tell Munna. If in real scenario, the same thing happened, how fair is it to keep someone in the dark so that the other couple's marriage would go without a problem. Wouldn't that be a selfish scenario?

Munna has stood by his friend in all pains. If Munna can sacrifice so much for his pal, how fair is it as viewers to say, sacrifice your love for your buddy because your buddy's marriage is more important than your feeling. Our love for Samaina is so great that other character's feeling don't matter at all, which I don't feel is fair.

I think its a lil too early to debate. We need to know what Swathi's point of view was to stay quiet and not tell Munna. Being a woman I guessed something was wrong but men wont notice such things unless and until you scream loud into their ears.

So lets wait and see what she has to say and why she kept quiet with out even informing her best friend Naina...She could have said one word to Naina that her parents were insisting on getting married , I am sure Naina would have put some sense into her head...she kept quiet from her as well..

The reason I said we need to hear Swathi's version is because One of my class girl was in love with a boy of our batch but post our education , he had two back papers and hence didn't get thru campus interview...where she graduated and got a job. The next year, he managed to graduate but was still struggling to get a job. By then a guy from her office liked her and reached her home with proposal. Her parents liked the guy and the marriage was fixed. In the meanwhile his boy friend did approach her parents saying he needed time but somehow they weren't very willing. If she had insisted and gone against the wedding , we all were sure that her parents would have agreed but she didn't..all she said was marriage is not a child's play...need to be practical...the guy might be good but has no sense of responsibility or seriousness towards life and career ...somehow she didn't think it would work out and hence going by parents decision.

The poor fellow was devastated ...now he is married to someone else and in a very high management position in one of the corporate org..he is blessed with two kids too...but what I am trying to say is we don't know how people perceive their future...so till we know what is running through Swathi's mind we cant say anything...we will need to hear her POV.

Munna loves her and his eyes always searches for her from the beginning and its not that he is not responsible...when needed he rises to the occasion but then all these three guys are just 21...boys mentally mature late ...girls are faster in that case...so lets wait and see why Swathi took a decision with out informing anyone..I am sure she will have a reason .

Agreed, Munna should at least be told. What he decides to do thereafter would have then be his decision.
I just hope that even if it is not in Munna and Swati's naseeb to be together as hinted by Naina in the irritating voice over, Swati ends up with someone who truly loves her and whose priority she is. Munna's love is puppy love. It would also be good if it can be shown that even in arranged marriages love triumphs.

I have a feeling from the beginning that summan might not happen, don't know but yeh mera feeling hai coz hamara show aisa show hai jaha real life se inspire hai and even ma'am and ek interview kaha tha ki not every love story will have happy ending and real life Mein Aisa hota bhi nai ki friend circle Mein sab couples ho, about not informing munna isliye ki ek toh sadhi hai so they can't do anything and sab ko tension hoga, aab yeh 90s hai toh sab ko pata chalne nai desakte ko they are coupels and pata hoga bhi toh Karenge kya. They can't do anything coz swati ko leke kai aur gaye hai, don't know swati munna ka kya angle hoga but have a strong feeling ki they might not have a happy ending. Abhi want to enjoy Samaina marriage so Mein toh Kuch nai sochunfi and yeh toh sach hai ki sab ki lovestory kamayab nai hoti, koi usko kamayab banane k liye Bahut strugle karte hai toh koi easily giveup karte ya phir koi seriously nai leta.

Not every girl had the courage to go against her family, in the 90s. We saw how even Naina fell weak at a point.

Preeti had no right to hide the news from Munna but she did what she felt was needed ATM. Sometimes, we hv to be irrational to avoid disasters in everyone's lives.

And if you feel that SamAina are given more priority than SwaMun, then what's wrong in that. The show is based on SamAina's life where SwaMun and others hv been their strong support. If you expect them to ruin the leads wedding for their friends, you're not gonna get that here!
