Thanks Aarthi, you gave a better description of my thoughts.

I had said in an earlier post that school was where Naina shone in many areas and college will be where Sameer will shine. Naina will surely be proud of Sameer. However if each time his winning involves a partner which ends up not being her but another girl, that will be the moments of her jealousy and unhappiness, until the time she herself realizes what he is giving up for her. Right now she is still child like but will grow up soon enough to appreciate Sameer for himself.

Hi Ross. Havent watched the episode but your post wuth your oneliners are a treat to read.

I guess the episode was filler. I dont want to give too much thought to the sash stealing. I want to take it as prank of 17-18 year olds. Afterall it did not harm anyone unlike the paper stealing or for that matter casette stealing.

Too many dream sequences are putting me off these days. Hum jab bhi samaina romance maangthe hai we get others romance. Pehle shefjun ka abhi pata nahi kik kis ka milega, sam sunaina, karthik sunaina, priyank mitali, chacha chachi, taiji tauji, varun pooja, mama mami, bittu aur uske hubby ka bhi romance mil jayega par samaina ka ONLY DREAM ROMANCE.

I cant understand nainas jealousy too. Its not as if sameer is giving importance to sunaina, uss bichare ne toh ab tak teek se baat bhi nahi kiya hai sunaina se then why naina is so insecure? If the bike ride is real and then she feels hurt i can understand but aiyve hi insecure. Aise toh sameer ka poora college life isse manane mein hi chala jayega. Lets see what cvs want to show.

@Ross i think you had wondered (when rival gang was introduced) why of all names cvs kept sunaina for the rival gang girl. I think you got your answer now ki why sunaina (arrey taaki naina 'su' ko mita sake). Simple funda.

@bold - Exactly. That is what I want to see. Naina should herself realize what Sameer is giving up for her, especially when there is another girl involved. That's when she will become secure and confident... that will be her growth. After that she will fully appreciate him, be happy in his wins and even encourage him to enjoy those moments without her.

His VO yesterday was poignant... the guy who never won anything won for the first time as soon as he entered college... and he couldn't enjoy it. Now, only Naina's change in perception and behavior will help him enjoy any future success.

If the bet phase and Mt. Abu trip was the first steps in helping Sameer mature ending with that monologue to the sweater, where he extols her virtues and claims she was a more beautiful person... this phase, her insecurities and his reassuring actions in a new environment should help Naina mature and ultimately confess that she loved him for his selfless love for her and his friends... she should realize that he always found her beautiful inside and out and gain confidence from his unshakable belief.

@ Bold - Too funny.. But its true not only for celebrities and for other normal people too. Picture tells a story and people try to read too much into it at times.

Just sharing a tiny moment. I was traveling in train before couple of years before. It was an overnight journey from Ahmedabad to Mumbai. Lady next to me was conversing with her husband. Her beautiful little daughter was playing around. It was a normal conversation for one minute and then she asked why did you not update pic of ours I told u of on FB as DP. And I could see anger on her face as within couple of seconds call got over. Then her cousin came and she was telling her about how her husband reacted when she asked about the picture. I was laughing inside thinking how immature she was. But then next conversation was about husband added some friend (looked like she had a doubt of his ex) and hence he didnt update their pic on FB. She was abusing that girl and kept on talking about that incident almost for 15 mins. I recalled that incident reading your Bawal word.. It stirs up storm for many like how it did in last week too for fans :-P

Sorry for sharing incident not related to an episode. But just wanted to share how people are obsessed with SM, Pictures and sometimes it helps in solving mysteries too :)

Arre bhai, if CVS wanted to give caps of Sameer and Naina as Mr & Ms Fresher to their audience, they could have made it as a dream sequence! And later after felicitation, Sameer could have come to Naina and could have taken her on a bike ride to pep up her mood. It would have been more realistic, logical and sensible. Jaha dream dikhana chahiye, waha real scene dete hai and jaha real hona chahiye usko dream bana dete hai. 😃

And I am really not understanding why the CVs are making the strong, principled Naina becoming insecure, jealous doing childish things like erasing Su from the noticeboard! Naina who was confident of Sameer's love even during the distant relationship is getting so insecure is not palatable. Sameer has not even spoken to Sunaina properly to raise the jealousy angle.

Last scene wanted to tell Tayiji, un dino ki baat chodo, aaj ke dino mei bhi ek ladka ek ladki ke saath photo dalta hai, toh bawal mach jata hai! 😉😆

@bold - I actually cleared my ears to make sure what I heard. And she kept on saying the same word. Well I didnt mind.. It was one additional funny moment from the episode for me.. Unintentionally though 😊

Poor girl.. She uploaded a pic of winning and holding the cup on her insta account. People started bashing it as usual. Instead of keeping calm and ignoring. She uploaded another picture targeting and she misspelled the word "gratitude".. People didnt leave her on that.. Now "Stash" is also added..

Sunaina and her gang deserves this. How could she enjoy the Ms. Fresher tag after performing in the stolen songs. She even did not share that with the judges. Bas she won and stood for the award. 😡

What I did not like in the episode is sunaina was saying "Stash" whereas it should be "Sash"
Naina VO could pronounce that correct. But Sunaina was 👎🏼

She can't even pronounce it, ayi badi sash lene.🥱

Thank you Ross. I totally loved the episode. I was little surprized when people started giving morality lessons rather than understanding subtle message and move on. Your update was even better than the episode for one liners that you added 😊😊

Everyone has already said what I wanted to so wont repeat it. Mature (more than her age then) and topper Naina gave selfless love to Sameer in PVKM. Sameer became mature and started valuing people who loved him unconditionally. Sameer brought that childhood back in Naina that she never enjoyed. Hence she has some childlike zid in VJN phase which are too adorable. She wanted to win by being associated with Sameer. He ensured it in his own jugadu way as the tide turned against their side.

Naina was the one who saw a different streak in Sameer and brought out that side in Mt Abu campfire scene. So I am sure she will help him during this VJN phase. However, how he is going to get her confidence is something interesting to watch out for.

As Ayesha said in one of her live chats that she is in love with love of Sameer and Naina. I am also added to that list. This love is so unreal yet looks realistic.

No more brain wreckage over precap. Its good to watch when everything is unknown. Weekend will pass on quickly as anyways there is enough entertainment offline around YUDKBH 😉

In the episode only thing rewatchable for me is the reactions of all when results were announced, apart from that all scenes were for one time watch only. IMHO offcourse.😊

@bold...And guess what? They were taunting our gang for vernacular medium, arrey inse toh achchi Hindi medium se padhi Naina hai, sahi toh pronounce kar rahi thi. 😃
