Awesome update Muskaan!
Thank you so much May!
You have taken on a very touchy and difficult topic. Hats off to you for that 👏 it's very easy to criticise unhealthy habits like smoking and drinking without understanding the reason people especially young kids get pulled in that direction. You have explained the origins of Sameer's addiction very well. Every time he has felt lost and in need of something to reduce his pain he has turned to smoking. Not that it can solve any of his problems but it does provide him a temporary escape from reality and momentary high.My source of inspiration was the picture posted by SSM on Instagram that showed Sameer gambling and smoking. Although they didn't show that in the show, yet that picture stayed in my head and gave me an idea of writing on this topic. Criticizing is easy, but quitting smoking is easier said than done...by a long shot. Since this starts in early teenage years when we are easily swayed under social pressure, I thought of writing on this. And because relationships too tend to brew in this age, I thought of combining the two...only set in un dino..😆
Naina's hurt is caused not only by his bd habit but more due to the fact that he has been hiding it from her and lying to her so effortlessly. This lying is the bigger culprit from their relationship point of view. Of course Naina will stand by him and help him overcome his demons!
Once a trust is lost, it is very hard to regain it...just like Sameer said to Swati the other day...it's all about your wants and needs and how sometimes your wants become your needs. That's when you need someone to pull you out of the sheath of darkness. And that's what Naina has promised to do. 😃
Eagerly looking forward to the next part!I'm eagerly looking forward to posting and hearing your reviews on it too! Will do so very soon! 😃
Loved it!!!
