Somehow they failed to connect compared to mundit preeti and even rohan. They didn't seem to create that uproar too from fans.also ph channel will gv importance to characters which artract viewership.that's plain and simple.

The comment on the director just intrigued me 😕.. yes - change of directors sometimes affects how scenes are translated visually on screen..
Coincidentally came across a post on the following twitter account, which clarifies a lot of things 👍🏼:

Hope the twitter a/c holder is fine with me sharing this info on IF..

Credits - twitter a/c..

as per the details, the current director is there from the 88th epi - Sam's realization, wedding, Nanu etc..
and it is during Pooja's wedding that Arjun faking his injury got revealed and lot more..

there was the angry brother scene - warning Sameer to keep away from his sister.. ..

then suddenly the entire track changed..we do not know what made the writers not continue with the angry brother.. moreover if the actor had really signed up for parallel lead, would he have agreed to become "junior SS"?... actually a junior SS character would have given him more scope to prove his acting.. and then realization, paper stealing incident being revealed would have got a good closure to the character.. Maybe writers did not want to take the typical serial route

these interviews, explanations have just made the issue very very messy.. Hope the current cast and crew is not affected by what is going on..

I never found Arjun character so interesting and even not the actor ,Right now all blaming game gets started and it's clearly seeing jeolousy
All want to see Preeti,Munna,Pandit ,Swati in the show and their parallel story as well with Samaina but I think still so many didn't get any spark between Arjun and Shifali love story
I always liked Shifali character individually but somewhere not got clicked with their love story .

I wish they could have been handle this situation better way ,All the best to their future projects and hope they at least start behave as professional actors

Exactly d moment they quitted d show both of them stopped posting pics together but when they were shooting they were giving us day to day update about their bond. They wanted to use their offscreen chemistry to make ppl ask shejun scenes??

All said and done..I would say whatever has happened is unfortunate. And I too have done dramatics and belong to family of dramatists.
Its all about the connect. If you can't connect you would be edited out.Theatre and a daily soap are totally different things..

I have done a couple of shows for my regional TV channel.I spent nearly a whole day (14 hrs) for the shoot and out of 44 minutes I got only 5 minutes of screen space when the show aired.

Even we were not paid.Just they took care of our fooding and staying. This is the way thing works in industry..more or less.

Alan Rickman once has said--
Talent is an accident of genes, and a responsibility.

And both of them should have been responsible if they are really talented.

I hope now well deserving actors get the replacement role for Arjun and Shefali.
Somy Hema disappointed me big time with their attitude now creating all these tamasha.

I dont know anything about how the industry works but i feel bad for them. I always loved their scenes as much as samaina's. I am sorry to say but i'm actually finding that some of the people in the forum are being rude now. I understand that you never loved shejun or whatever.. but bashing actors in this way is so wrong. They did not get what they were promised and they fully have the right to stand up for themselves. If some people find that it was not right to insult the director or production house like this in the media.. they were just saying thz truth na. if an actor's scenes are telecased for only 10% of what they have shot.. i understand their pov

I have refrained from commenting on this topic because it is just getting murkier and this is beyond non sense for me😆 Never was a fan of either of them but now never mind!

@bold: Minu such wise words. And who better than the late Alan Rickman to say them. He immortalized Severus Snape and so many other characters with so much humility. The world needs more actors like that!

Last line, couldn't have said it better👏

If you see other actors leaving a show for differences with production house, then you'll see them leaving saying good words. That's the maturity of professional actors.
Somi Hema failed here big. 👎🏼
As Minu said you can't expect all scenes to be telecasted too.
