I somehow could guess that Minu saying about the overrated hype about Randeep's hair.

Minu please use easier words so that your words clearly reach to the crowd.

I just wish to make the following comment on this..

Vanity is very difficult to analyse...we all fall prey to it in different ways. Commerce ensures the viability of it. For instance...since the fans extoll the virtues of it...it gets the attention of the marketer...When the marketer uses the commodity to further the commerce, the fans recoil...wondering did they give it as much importance as they first assumed...Point to ponder!!

You did the perfect addition to the post..👏👏 The point is a very important factor in deciding our further ventures.

O bhai such deep thoughts ...well written ..
For me I feel in love with the show for the story and characters in the show and then actor's who put life in those characters. Here we love the looks, attitude and appearance of actor's but it also changes with story ...sameer can't remain 17 yr old all life if they want to show matured sameer then why not accept it and let them show their story

Why not accept it rather than rant ..
Randeep will Don the look .

Such a beautiful post minu
I agree completely... I mean it's still Randeep who's gonna play sameer... Even if looks changes, he's still the same... I personally don't mind his hair being cut... I love his hair too... Bt i'm ok too if he cuts his hair for any reason .. People can't get over looks and its a fact... Its his character whom we loves more than looks... So until his character is not butchered i am ok with any kind of changes in his looks..
Even in the show, people were after his looks... No one saw the inner sameer... I'm happy naina managed to see through him and understood his inner tumoil... Anyway great points.

A very unconventional way of airing your views indeed! 😊 Impressed!

On a personal note, I wouldn't mind if Sameer looks like Salman or a Yogi or even a Hippie, if the story demands. To me, looks should add conviction to the plot/timeline of the story. It shouldn't be the driving factor. But I do accept the fact that there are people who love his hair as much as him.

First few tens of episodes of this show was meant for establishing things. There had been a deliberate attempt to emphasise things like Sameer's good looks, Naina's nerd nature etc. At that point, the highlight on Sameer's hair too was effortless. The relevance it had in the bet too was hence acceptable. But towards the end of the bet phase itself, Sameer had changed. He himself had reached a phase where he was ready to lose the bet and hair for the sake of saving Naina from a major heartbreak. And now toh they're in a committed relationship. Sameer,Naina and the story too has moved beyond superficial things.
I just hope that the Dadi cutting hair incident is to prove, or make way for something worthwhile. And not a forced attempt to simply garner sentiments or exaggerate the obvious.

I had been wondering why this pandemonium/chaos and escalation for the haircut from the team's side. I came up with an answer that probably they themselves wanted to release the look first, giving it an 'official' appeal. They are way ahead in shooting, and it's probably impossible to keep the looks under wraps for offscreen pics/ spoilers keep surfacing all the time.

Must have had a thought, when it is sure to create a wave, why not grab the surfboard and ride on it??

Anyway if it eased things out for people, or if it would put unwanted tension/speculations to rest, well and good for all. But if this turns out to be a massive goof up, I'd be left with one question.

"What was the point even? "

Brilliant analogy 👏
Lovely posts in this thread ⭐️

and the gif is so very cute!!!

Just my thoughts -- Apart from the story telling, ambience,, the character that drew me first to this serial is Naina her innocence, her simplicity, faith in people. Sameer to me initially looked like any other character - the spoilt one.. But, when writers started unraveling layers of his character and revealed his true nature, his character became very close to my heart. Both the characters are on the same page now - with lot of emotional depth and sensitivity. They are on their way to discovering their true selves - especially Sameer... At this stage, will the physical appearance of Sameer or rather to be specific his hair 😳 impact the character's appeal??

btw--Promotional strategy of the upcoming track or story growth from the team is interesting!!! the writer especially mentions Sameer Jayprakash Maheshwari.. So return to A'bad on cards?? or this journey begin from Delhi??

I was 😲seeing the title of your post😆. Where do you get such analogies and thoughts Minu ? 👏 Sameer keeps his hair, cuts his hair, kuch bhi hojaye if the overall story is not butchered then we all are watching. Story is KING.. bass !

I guess the team is taking advantage milking the popularity ! But, better to come from them rather than from somewhere else. Like their approach but fandom is hyperventilating unnecessarily as usual !
