Yes Arjun too is in this scenario now and we all know that it wil get settled at some point. but honestly I dont think what Sameer did and what Naina did are parallels that can be shown as mirror. Naina's mistake was much serious if you look at it logically. She caused a student his whole career, future for no reason. Every student'd granddad is not a trustee, My objection was there. And what Sameer did I know was wrong, the genesis of that was a crime. but within this journey he has turned into the savior of her respect. And the wish to redeem and repent is very genuine from his side. but Naina had no such attempts.Somehow I still think this is going to come up at a point in the next phase. I have a feeling after Sameer helps Arjun he is going to reveal it by himself to sameer... I think Sameer will help Arjun get back to cricket and finally Arjun will understand sameer good nature. He may realize how much he was influenced by his fathers prejudice about Sameer's status... to me that would be the logical time for Arjun to confess how he gets pressure down by his father to perform and what he did to become headboy.
I also wish Sameer questions then And makes her see a mirror... that act could have destroyed his life, what would Naina do then? Does she not feel guilty at all for letting an innocent person be charged of this crime just so her fathers d brother are safe? Why her double standards? I hope this will make her realize that people are not perfect... grave mistakes happen but one needs to forgive... and hope she also seeks his forgiveness... they can make a fresh start then.
@Bold: this is the answer which I know very well.😆 but hat I meant is the parallels CVs are r=trying to draw are not real. Expelling a student and faking love are not same, the second scenario can be named a teenage stupidity, it has that benefit of doubt but the first one can never be the same.Originally posted by: URnotThisBody
Definitely think the story was left open ended. Now that Arjun is also involved in the entire scenario, that will surely link the two stories. How else will Naina realize she is at fault as well and she can't judge people without knowing their circumstances. How else will she realize that her state of my mind is not because of Sameer alone but she played part in her own fate?
Whether Naina as a character will hide such a big truth??? Hmmm she definitely shuts up when it comes to her family but whether she will do that at the stake of someone else's reputation and career.. We don't know. We haven't seen any other such instance so I'm left with no choice but to go with assuming what the writers show us. She has lied twice for Sameer- once I think smoking incident and second homework incident when she saved Sameer n co but not her own friend. But is that good enough to justify this is left to us.OR just it was a tool to move the story forward. Sameer could have told her about the bet too na. He didn't. Warna showdown kaise hota, realization, confession kaisi hoti. Story aage kaise badti 😆. Probably all for the twist in the story.!!!
@Bold: Yes I agree, perfectly said.👏Hi
Very nice post . All have written the point which was in my mind since long.
In a way and her family itself is responsible for the mess that she ans sameer is in now. Once sameer knows the truth he must give her and Arjun a peace of his mind. That rakesh is also one of Thebes mail reason he has slapped and abused sameer n number of times and the innocent boy was blamed for all the things.be it even the mouth abu room where he found sameer it was naina who brought him in .
I always found sameer more realistic and practical than naina.i feel is only good in studies but still so she's not much practical in life where as Sameer is just the opposite and he scores a higher position than naina in my eyes. When he knew he was wrong he called off the bet too but sadly it diddnt favour him. I will not fully blame sameer for the bet issue as he is a teenager and when any one question that family value his ethics and respect. Here sameers image was at stake coz of aggarwals.
Rest all of you mentioned is the same doubts that was in my mind since long
@bold: agreed. Family upbringing is another reason. And I still cant swallow how a truthful girl can lie over such a grave issue, such a let down.Originally posted by: ruchi3179
This loop needed to be closed for character growth of Naina & Arjun. They shd show repentance & ask for his forgiveness .Then only it will be justified.I want to see Sameer's reaction & not him becoming only Mahan. His original personilty shd be kept intact.Till Naina is sorry for this my sympathies with Sameer more than Naina.Yeasterday also they showed sharp contrast between 2 families.
Honestly I picked the topic due to the one and only fact that I dont feel this scenario was needed to fall in love or to forgive Sameer. CVs has chosen the wrong card here. Any person with morals will not be able to swallow this mistake being compared with a stupid teenage bet. Heart breaks happen, it is a trait of teenage. One party always holds the other party guilty. Just look at Nanaji, he was angry at Sameer but then he also was there to guide him, this is what happens when you know life has to go on with all the phrases, experience. but Naina's lie is grave than this issue, it could have caused a student his career, this is what I am trying to say.I personally feel CV's have not forgotten this...this will surely come but at right time point when it is badly needed and then Naina will shattered
May be during-1. When Naina acceptance of Sam back in her life2. During there marriageI strongly feel the first one because Arjun will play a major role here to clear the differences between them...but trust me Naina ko bhi ek jhatka chahiye that too before she accept Sam again back in her lifeAbhi aise ho raha hai...like usko sab galat hi dikh raha hai...because of one sharth...Your views please
Actually I guess the title of the post I have wrongly placed.😆 you said it right dear. Naina is a not a perfect person and she proves it evrytime.😆 but lying about the theft issue is not about being perfect, it is a serious issue. I don't like the fashion in which CVs are trying to draw parallels among these two totally separate issues.Originally posted by: Samaina_1990
I don't think they've ignored the issue...this might be used somewhat in Sameer's favour later on...I have a feeling Naina would realize she too had wronged Sameer...not that it justified the bet...but she hid the truth from him at least n somehow that showed she too didn't trust him completely. I guess the point is even the most perfect of people commit mistakes...Naina said uski zindagi me ek hi galti thi...wo tha Sameer Maheshwari...but I think hiding the truth from everyone was the other galti. She could see Sameer being punished or rusticated from school, but didn't have the guts to see her brother getting that punishment. I think Sameer would feel betrayed a bit that Naina could have cleared his name long back but didn't do so. And that might be when Naina would feel guilty too. Maybe two negatives make a positive and both will forgive each other...let's see what happens...
Hey Nivi. Yes i know it is the trio now, all 3 involved. but somehwere I dont seem to appreciate CVs for drawing parallels these two completely different issues. Because the outcomes of two issues are totally different. Casing a student his career is way too much in my eyes.Originally posted by: dixie123
Jes, I don't think the issue has been skipped. It will be brought out at the right time and the time maybe now with Arjun getting to know of the bet. Otherwise therr was no need to involve Arjun in this. Sameer needs mukti from that incident. Definitely, i agree Naina needs to know how her actions, her father and brother contributed to Sameer's revenge.
In one of the OLVs, Arjun tells Sameer that his enmity was with him not with his sister, why he took badla from Naina and he challenges him for a cricket match during the fight. So, maybe Sameer tells Arjun why it all started and Arjun even confesses the truth in the heat of the moment. Not sure how they are going to play the OLV segment.
One trait with Naina which is evident is she thinks of her heart break only😆 she too broke many person's heart in this journey. Many a times she has been self centered. but I know that Sameer will forgive her way more easily than she is going to forgive.Originally posted by: sriya567
In fact I started a topic on exactly the same thing...

Naina should realise...
reposting it here..
know many will not agree, but I think Naina is partly at fault for instigating the bet... she accused Sam of stealing the papers and caused him so much pain and shame in front of his mom and step-dad ( who, by the way, was waiting for a chance to put him down)...
He got scolded by teachers and banned from cricket team.
So when Naina comes to know the truth from her bro and apologises to Sam, why should Sam forgive her ? He could have shouted back at Naina just like how she did today...She had never clarified the truth to anyone, never bothered to clear Sam's name in front of the school/princi/his mom... did it not prick her that time ? Alteast Sam tried to say sorry...
Breaking someones heart is a cruel way to take revenge, but Naina should realise too, that she herself had caused a lot of hurt to Sam which probably made him take up the bet...
Hey Devyani!😳 You have penned it down very beautifully. Yes Naina as a character is self centered, selfish, real and a teen. The first practical slap on Naina's face is Sameer. She still not loves him, she has a crush on him which tends to blind teenagers at one point. but Sameer is way too mature in this sense. He has already seen enough deprivation and how practical world operates, how a mother easily leaves her son to settle down in life. Whereas Naina is still bound in the teachings of chachaji and boundaries of an abusive father. SO its tough for her to see beyond everything round her and see the practical physical world. Hence she deiced to take shelter in films to entertain herself and keep herself aloof from all the discrimination happening with her. She is living in a world of fantasy where she is the topper of school, where she has a perfect family, she is blessed with a bestie and what else she needs? a lover boy, thats it. but that whole picture somewhere stands on a very shaky foundation.I think Sameer and Naina's journey & path achieving true love is different. Sameer's journey is tough but actually better - his one is a transformation from falsehood to true love . But Naina's is a journey of half truth (Ardha Satya) throughout - very complicated & dangerous though it seems simple. Her immaturity (someone has rightly mentioned ) due to her upbringing always keeps her away from the exact truth. The sanskar injected by the family doesn't allow her to think freely and judge people in the right manner. This maturity cant be achieved through studies. Bookish knowledge and practical experience differ to a great extent. She thinks she is doing the best, she thinks she is right. The rigidity inside her doesn't allow her to judge and root out the exact cause of a circumstance evolved. Only a rebel in such a conservative family can come over the complications. But till now, Naina is not shown bold enough.
