Agree with you, @Jes. I've had the same question, especially after seeing the rude way in which Arjun spoke to Sameer and friends that night. If he knew Sameer knew of that cheating thing, he would not have been able to show off unnecessary bossy-ness that day.

When Naina came to know or Arjun being the real culprit, she wasn't as close to Sameer. Naturally, that time to her, telling Sameer would mean defaming her family in front of someone who's barely a friend. Though she should have told him that time itself, since he was the one who had suffered due to this fiasco, we can still forgive her, knowing her innate nature. In Mt.Abu, I think she didn't want to spoil all the good moments by mentioning something she knew would be in a bad taste to both of them. But later, had the bet issue not happened, I'm sure she would have told him. Maybe that day itself! Sameer was upset because of his mother that time, and Naina was there to comfort him. Maybe while talking about his misunderstandings with her mother, while that cheating issue came up, she would have told him. Now of course, she considers him as being a cheater, so that issue pales in comparison.

Sorry guys if I missed replying anyone. My point was not to say who is right and who is wrong, in total all are humane and have flaws. but I don't like the call by the creatives to draw parallels between completely different scenarios with different aftermath here. They should have handled theft accusation issue from Naina's side in a different way, she should have confessed it to him at least when she thought she loved him. And Sameer winning her back and she forgiving him should have been totally a different picture, I dont want them to settle just because both have done mistakes regarding the theft and bet issue. thats it. :)

hey dear. thanks for well explained post.😳 your name?
Actually I have never seen Naina worrying about this theft accusation issue. She now takes Sameer on remand for lying and all. but when she was happy in her bubble that Sameer is with her, he loves her, she also didn't bothered about telling him the truth. Thats the point. Naina thinks she is only right and doing the right thing. I am not blaming her.As a teen, she would be this much vulnerable. She would be lost in her own world of fantasy, thats common. My point is Cvs are drawing parallels of two different issues. Thats what I personally dont appreciate. And Naina though claimed love for him never ever realized the depth of his pain. For me she has a teenage crush on him for now, love will surely do miracles later.

Frankly speaking Sameer has got a rough deal twice because of Naina. Once he was considered as thief and cheat and second time a person of questionable character when found in girls room. Either of the incident can finish a student's reputation and future career. Compared to that Naina was jilted in love. I think we are wise enough to know which issue is more serious! 😊 Hope CVs will address this.

I get you now Jes. By your topic I thought whether you were wondering if they actually forgot to address it at all. But you have a problem with the writers drawing parallels between the two stories. Agreed. You think Naina's is a graver mistake .
But are you also saying the Naina character wouldn't have lied about the papers once she knew it and the writers conveniently changed that to suit the story? Coz Naina has been selfish and oblivious to other's when it comes to the person she prioritizes the most.

Yes exactly! the seriousness of two issues is completely different. I want CVs to address it properly.

U know i was thinking AAJ bi KUCH HOSAKTA HAI...Sam is summoned to the office for pushing Arjun...If only Today Naina speaks up on his behalf!..Cos Rakesh is fierce n will strongly bring upon the 2 allegations vich has not be adressed uptil now...the paper cheating n the room fiasco!..If she defends n absolve Sam from all those charges today in the princis room...i would be much happier..cos this is very important for Sameer too before he commits in a relationship ...Later than that its jus going to create Mus n hypocrisy in love n relationship!

@Bold: that's actually my inquiry to CVs😆! what are they upto? cause it is obvious that they are envolving Arjun in all this. so they have an intention of drawing parallel somewhere,at least to some extent. I don't wanna be harsh but Naina is a very selfish teenage individual where Sameer is exact opposite. So even I dont know what CVs wanna do with Naina's character as I mentioned in main topic, they have confused this character. One side she says, she judges others and other hand forgets to introspect herself. If u consider my take, for me this whole story has been sketched till now to show the graph of Sameer's character. Naina's character was conveniently neglected. or was it sketched just like this? Then enough justification is needed from CVs. The female VO and male VO both contribute in creating a deep insight into Sameer, Naina's character needs more attention.

Yes Meher,if it happens then I will be happy. Though still Naina's character needs alot clarification for me. but I wil be happy that at least Sameer is free from false allegations. This ahs to happen or else how come Rakesh will let him in his house?😆

Jes, you know along with this paper stealing incident I am apalled that the Mt.Abu incident - Sameer found in Naina's room- was not addressed at all. Princi said action would be taken once the trip was done. But, abhi tak kuch nahi hoga.

Sameer needs to be absolved of this. Maybe this is for Naina's realization of the changed Sameer. Unnecessary though, even after her heartbreak being hurt also Naina could have defended Sameer showing that she values the truth more than anything else.

Bechara Sameer.
