She is sitting with a cup of filter coffee and the door bell rings. She opens the door and is shocked to see Raman standing there with his killer smiles and dimples.

He lovingly says- Madrasan, chal kuch kaam hain tujse.. mere saath chal.

Ishitha is shocked and says kahaan?

Part 8

Ishitha is surprised to see Raman standing there with his ubercool smile.. he was looking dapper in his suit. She stared at him for a moment and composed herself asking : kahaan jaana hai?

Raman : Police station

Ishitha : kyu? Ab kya kiya maine..kounse jurm ke liye andar karoge muje?

Raman is hurt with her bitter talks but decides to ignore it.

Raman : Mani ne kaha ki hume police mein inform karna chahiye.. Adi waapis aa gaya aa. To saari legal formalities khatam karna hain.

Ishitha : to main kya karoongi wahan

Raman : wo Adi ke upar goli chalane ki case to tum par hain. Hume woh bhi handle karna hain. Aur roshni to tumhare saath thi.. to kuch puchenge to tum jawab de sakthi ho..Arre, itna sawaal mat karna.. tumare bte ke liye aa jao..

Ishitha : accha, aap jayiye.. main pahunch jaoongi.. kaunsi police station

Raman : DGP office jaana hain. Aur main tume lene aaya hoon. Zyaada behas mat kar.. bas aa ja mere sath.

Ishitha: ji nahin.. koi behas nahi hogi.. main pahunch jaoongi matlab pahunch jaoongi.. aap ja sakthe hain.

Raman realized it is no point talking to her. So he quickly goes down and stands near her car.

After 5 minutes Ishitha comes down talking to someone over the phone. She is surprised raman standing there.

Ishitha : kya huwa? Gaye nahin?

Raman : iss gaadi ki chabi to tumare paas hain na.. to main kaise jaa saktha hoon.

Ishitha : Raman ye kya mazaak hain!! Aap apni gaadi se jao

Raman : main tumhar saath jaoonga.. tum decide karo meri gaadi ya teri ye lal dabba.. waise yeh khatara abhi tak chal raha hain theek thaak?

Ishitha : haan . yehi ek cheez hain jisne mera saath abhi tak nahi choda.. har wakt mere saath raha hain.. mera sachcha hamsafar..

Raman is hurt listening to all her talks. The old ishitha would have answered him back with a friendly taunt.This reply was not expected.

They both drive to the station. The entire drive was a quiet affair for both of them. He kept stealing glances to understand her thought process. He was searching for a smile on her face. He realized she was worried about something.

They reach the destination in 20 minutes. Ishitha is lost in her thoughts and does not realize that they have reached. Raman comes down and opens the door for her. He gives her his hand to get down and Ishitha in her own state holds his hand without realizing what she is doing. Raman is happy and elated to hold her hand. He makes her stand, closes the door, locks the car and walks inside with her hand in hand. Ishitha is just lost in her thoughts. She was in a different world when Raman held her hand and took her inside.

Mani, Adi and Romi were already there with Aliya. They were so happy to see Raman walk in hand in hand with Ishitha. Adi quickly ran towards them and said : Arre , aap log aa gaye? Kaise ho aap Ishima?

That is when Ishitha realized she was holding Raman's hand. She quickly pulled out her hand in embarrassment and looked at Raman who had a beautiful smile on his face. He was so happy they walked in together. This gave him hope of going ahead to woo back his Madrasan.

They chatted up with the cops who drew up a plan of action. It was decided that the case will be reopened and Adi will testify. There will be a DNA test to prove this is Adi. They asked Adi to file a complaint against Simmi and Param so that they can be taken into custody. The inspector was a good guy and he knew Mani. He told them that he will arrest simmi and Param after 5 pm so that the courts will be closed and the next two days beingweekend they can do nothing.

In these 2 days more evidence can be collected in their absence. All of them were discussing but Raman and Ishitha were lost thinking about the drive.

After 30 minutes they decided that the cops will come home by 5 pm. Adi asks Ishitha to be there at that time

Ishitha : main kyu Adi? Main involve nahin hona chahthi.. please understand Beta.

Adi : Ishima aapka ye beta chahtha hain ki aap uske saath rahe jab woh apna kar raha hain. Please ishima.

Ishitha : achcha theek hain main pahunch jaoongi..

Adi : to main lene aa jao dopahar thak

Ishitha : Adi, tu apna vada bhool raha hain

Adi in a very grumpy tone : theek hai theek hai aap aa jao. But zarorr aana.

Ishitha smiles and moves to the car and notices Raman leaning on her car and waiting for her.

Ishitha : aap phir aa gaye?

Raman : aah tho.. meri gaadi tere flat main hain..

Ishitha : to driver ko bhej do.. wo le aayega

Raman : Madrasan tu jitni bhi koshish kar le.. jaoonga to main tumhare saath hi.. to nakhre math kar aur gadi start kar.

IShitha sits in the car and Raman drives it..

They both reach the building and Raman gets down. Ishitha quickly moves towards the entrance and Raman holds her wrist making her turn.

Raman : tumhari filter coffee chahiye.. ek cup pilaogi.. please.. Subah nashta bhi nahi kiya maine.

Ishitha : kyon? Naashtha kyun nahi ki aapne?

Raman : tuje milne ke chakkar mein bhaag kar aa gaya aur tum ho ki ek cup ki chai bhi nahi poochi..

Ishitha felt bad but did not want to give in to Raman..

IShitha: abhi niklenge to ghar 5-10 minute mein pahunch sakthe hain. To mere khayal se jaldi nikalna chahiye.

Raman : Madrasan, sirf coffee maangi thi maine. Itna akadne ki zarrorat nahi hain

He walks away faking anger thinking she will melt. He goes near his car and realizes that the tyres are flat. Looking at all 4 tyres flat he realizes it is someones game. He looks around to spot Alia and Nirvaan peeping from behind the cars. He smiles and screams : oh no.

Ishitha hears him scream and quickly runs towards him with a very worried look. The worried look on her face gives him happiness.

Ishitha : kya hua?

Raman : charo tyres punctured hain

Ishitha with a confused expression : Uhhh.. ye kaise ho saktha hain.

Raman : lagtha hain meri gaadi bhi tumhara hi saath de raha hain. Muje pareshan karne pe tula hain. Ek to bhooka hoon aur ab gaadi bhi kharaab hain.

Ishitha thinks for a while and looks around to see if anbody is looking at them. She then looks at Raman who is looking upset.

IShitha : theek hain.. aap upar mere ghar mein aa jayiye.. Mechanic ko phone karenge aur aap kuch kha bhi lijiye

Raman : sachi.. are you sure.. tumhe koi aitraaz nahi hoga?

Ishitha : aitraaz to aapko hona chahiye.. ek baanj aur manhoos ke ghar me aana aur khana khana mushkil hoga nahin?

Raman felt like someone has stabbed him with a thousand knives.. Ishitha had no feelings on her face. She had a very blank expression.

Raman died a thousand deaths in that one moment and realized it is going to be very difficult to get things back to normal. He had to make Ishitha understand and believe his thoughts.

As of now he just went with her to eat something made by his wife. She gave him the food. He didn't even realize it was south Indian food but ate it to his hearts content.

Just then Ruhi walks in with Pihu and they are both happy to see raman there. Alia and Nirvaan also come up. Raman calls the mechanic and very quietly tells him to come late. With Ruhi and pihu jumping around Ishitha did not realize that Raman was still there.

A couple of minutes later Adi walked in too as Alia and called him. Raman was so happy to see his entire family under one roof. Nirvaan was a stranger to him but he did not mind him around them. He thought Nirvaan will be of help as today he was the one who had flattened his tyres.

It was close to 5 when Raman got a call from the cops asking them to be there. Mani and Shagun also said they will be there in Bhalla house.

Raman reminded them. It was decided than Nirvaan and Ruhi will stay with pihu. Raman, Ishitha, Adi and aliya drove towards the bhalla house.

At the Bhalla house,

Simmi and param were actually thinking why Raman has not taken any action against them. The senior bhallas were having tea when the door bell rang.

Neelu went to open it and the cops walked in

Inspector: Param and Simmi Khurana kaun hai?

Param and Simmi : Ji hum hain boliye

Inspector: aap dono ko giraftaar karna hai. Chaliye humare saath.

Simmi : arre aise kaise chaliye.. kya kiya hain humne.. kisne complaint ki hai

Just then Raman walks in with Ishitha followed by Adi and Aliya

Raman : Maine!!!
