Raman's POV
It's been 4 months that I have not seen her laughing at my jokes,blushing because of me.4 months felt like 4 centuries for me. She was in coma as we had suffered an acccident.It felt that I was just trying to survive without her and the day came when she opened her eyes.
Me and her doctor was standing there in front of her after I told her about hand movement of Ishita.She opened her eyes and my life brightened,I was so happy as if I got my world back.
My thoughts were broken by Dr.Nithya as she spoke to Ishita.
"How are you feeling Ishita?" asked Dr. Nithya.
Ishita gave a confused look,I guess she was wondering who is Dr. Nithya.
"Who are you?" Ishita asked before I could say anything.
"Main tumhaari doctor hoon,tumhaara accident hua tha" Dr. Nithya
answered.[I am your doctor,you suffered an accident]
Then Ishita again went in her thoughts and spoke
"Ha mujhe yaad hai main meri car main baithi thi jab ek light mere aankhon ke saamne aayi aur uske baad sab kuch blank hai" Ishita told her.[I was sitting in my car then a light came in front of my eyes and after that everything is blank]
It felt a little a little weird and confusing first she gave me look when she opened her eyes,second she didn't talk to me and third she didn't mention my name while telling the doctor about her accident.
While they both were conversing I was continuously staring at her with confusion in my mind.
My thoughts were again broken by the doctor.
"Tum rest karo,phir thodi der baad psychologist tumse milne aayegi" Dr.Nithya told Ishita.
She nodded her head affirmatively,after telling her this Dr. Nithya went away.
She looked at me and asked me "Who are you?"
The earth shaked for me she didn't remember me.She is my wife,my love,my life,my everything,My Ishita.
She broke my thoughts and
She continued "Aap mere doctor haina?" [You are my doctor,right?]
After she said that I couldn't take it anymore and ran away from there and came out the hospital in the parking in search of my car as I had tears in my eyes.After I found my car I went and sat in it.I was flabbergasted and scared,flabbergasted because I couldn't believe she forgot me,the 5 years of our togetherness,our love.She can't forget the promise she had made to me of love for lifetime.I was scraed at the thought that now I have to leave her as according I am no one to her.But then I thought that I won't let her leave her.If she have forgotten me,our marriage,our love I won't leave her.I will do anything to make her remember her promise,our promise.I wiped tears and got out of my car and headed towards the hospital
I went and met the doctor and told her everything what happened some moments ago between Ishita and me.
"We need to make her realize that she has suffered a memory loss" said Dr. Nithya.
"But how?" I asked her impatiently.
"I'll discuss this case with Dr. Vidya,she's a renowned psychologist of Mumbai." she told me.
"Doctor,please do anything and get Ishita's memory back" I told her.
"Don't worry Raman everything would be fine". said Dr. Nithya with an assuring tone.
She called up Dr. Vidya and told her that a very case required her guidance and treatment as it was very critical.After having conversation with with Dr. Nithya told me that Dr. Vidya was on her way.
When Dr. Vidya reached the hospital and met us,I told her everything about what has happened. She asked for Ishita's X-ray reports,she got them from Dr. Nithya.She sudied those reports for a while and spoke.
"Look Raman,I don't want to give you small false hopes but Ishita's case is actually very much critical.The accident she suffered 4 months ago has caused some brain injuries leading to her memory loss." said Dr. Vidya in one breath.
I just nodded affirmatively understanding what she said.
"Can do we anything for her so that she gets all memories back ?"
"I won't be able to say anything without talking to her and knowing her condition" sais Dr. Vidya making me understand Ishita's situation.
"Then should we go and meet her" said Dr. Nithya
We agreed and went to meet Ishita in her ward. As we reached there Dr. Nithya asked Sister D'souza,an elderly woman to join us. We all surrounded Ishita and stood there for her to wake up.
She opened her eyes and looked at all us.
"Ishita,main tumhaari doctor.Dr. Nithya aur yeh hai tumhaari psychologist Dr. Vidya aur yeh hai Sister D'souza,tumhe kissi bhi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh inhe bulana yeh tumhaari madad kar dengi" said Dr. Nithya.[Ishita,I'm your doctor Dr. Nithya and this is your psychologist Dr. Vidya and this is Sister D'souza,if you need anything so call for her she'll help you.]
Dr. Nithya didn't introduce me to Ishita as I had asked her not to do this before Ishita realizes about her memory loss.
Then,Dr. Vidya asked her what all she could remember.
In my heart somewhere I hoped that she remembers me
but,that wasn't possible.
Ishita told her everything she had told Dr. Nithya earlier.
Then Dr. vidya asked me why she was sitting there.
"Actually Dr. Vidya mere ex-fiance ne humaari engagement tod di ussi state mein main wahaan baithi hui thi." She told her which changed her expressions.[Actually Dr. Vidya my ex-fiance called off our engagement and in that state I was sitting there.]
It hit me hard she remembered her pain caused by Subbu but,not our happiness. I felt as if my world was ending,my love,my life didn't remember anything. Even though I knew this was coming it felt really worse hearing that from her. While she gave her last answer she looked at me. I signalled Dr. Vidya to ask her her next question.
"Ishita tumhaare ex-fiance ka naam kya hai?" She asked.[What was your fiance's name Ishita?]
"Uska naam Subbu hai" She said hesistantly.[He's name is Subbu]
I couldn't control myself hearing her take someone else's name as if that man meant the world to her some time back and he mattered a lot to him and I went away as I unknowingly had tears in my eyes. I wiped my tears and waited for Dr. Nithya and Dr.Vidya.
After a good 15 minutes I saw Ishita coming my way. She came in front of me and slapped me hard on my cheeks. I was shocked,why on earth will she do that. Dr. Vidya and Dr.Nithya along with Sister D'souza followed her. She looked angry,she was breathing very fast and after sme moments she fainted and was about to fall on the floor when I caught her in my arms and carried her back to her bed.
Dr. Vidya gave her the required medicines and asked me to come and meet her in Dr. Nithya's cabin. I stood there to get the sight of Ishita. I sat next to her bed and took her left hand in my hand she was still wearing the ring I had given to her when I had proposed her. I caressed the ring it look so beautiful on her hand. I kept her hand back on the bed and went to meet Dr. Vidya.
While walking on the way to Dr. Nithya's cabin i had many thoughts in my mind. What went wrong with Ishita that she and slapped me. I knocked the cabin and went inside. Dr. Nithya and Dr.Vidya were discussing about Ishita. They told me to take a sit and started telling me what had happened after he went from there.
She started narrating the scene to me.
A/N: This is Dr. Vidya's POV in flashback and Rama's POV ends.
"Ishita yeh sab kaun se year mein hua tha?" I continued.[Ishita in which year did all this happen?]
"Aap aisa kyun bol rahi hai Dr. Vidya? She said with a confused tone.[Why are you saying this Dr. Vidya?]
"Of course issi saal 2011 mein !" She continued still being in a confused state.
"Yeh 2016 hai Ishita 2011 nahi." I announced.
After hearing my last statement Ishita's expressions changed and she said.
"I don't understand what are you saying." She said looking confused.
"Ishita you've suffered a memory loss" I told her.
"No this is not possible how can I forget 5 years of my life,no this can'ty happen you are lying !" She shouted
"Ishita understand you have lost memory,you don't even remeber you got married in these 5 years and that man you saw he is your husband" I said in one breath making her understand the situation.
"That man..that man is my husband,how is it possible" She said with a baffled tone.
"Oh..now I understand that man is planning everything... he has paid you right to manipulate me" She said misunderstanding us.
"No, Ishita you are getting us wrong" I told her.
"No..you are lying I..I won't leave that man" She said while getting up from her bed and walking out of the ward
A/N:Here ends Dr. Vidya's POV in flashback and the Raman's POV starts again.
"Thats why Ishita slapped you" She said.
"Why is she behaving this way?" I asked
"She's shocked because of all happening around her,her state of mind is different at this point and we need to understand this" She said making me understand Ishita's medical condition.
We discussed about Ishita's health and after some time I went out of the cabin with Ishita's thoughts in my mind.
