It felt so long...it felt like I was sleeping for a very long time.The visions of my family came in front me,it felt like I was dreaming.I opened my eyes to myself in a hospital.I was
confused what am I in a hospital?
My thoughts were broken by a voice,it was a woman's voice.
"How are you feeling Ishita?" The woman asked.
I am confused who is she and how does she know my name?
Due to curiosity I asked her "Who are you?"
"Main tumhaari doctor hoon,tumhaara accident hua tha" She answered.[I am your doctor,you suffered an accident]
Then I remembered my last memory as I came out of my home feeling sad about the fact that my engagement was called off.
"Ha mujhe yaad hai main meri car main baithi thi jab ek light mere aankhon ke saamne aayi aur uske baad sab kuch blank hai" I told her.[I was sitting in my car then a light came in front of my eyes and after that everything is blank]
While we both were conversing I noticed the same man standing there,I had seen him when I opened my eyes.He was staring at me continously without saying a word,his expressions pictured that he was confused.
My thoughts were again broken by the doctor.
"Tum rest karo,phir thodi der baad psychologist tumse milne aayegi" She told me.[You take some rest,after a while psychologist will come to meet you]
I nodded my head affirmatively,after telling me this she went away.But that man was still standing there.
I asked him "Who are you?"
He looked shocked.
I continued "Aap mere doctor haina?" [You are my doctor,right?]
After I said that he ran away from my bed without saying a word.I was confused did I say anything bad,I felt drowsy and I dozed off with those thoughts.
After I woke up I saw four people had surrounded me.One of them was my doctor,a woman,an elderly nurse and that man.
My doctor spoke "Ishita,main tumhaari doctor.Dr. Nithya aur yeh hai tumhaari psychologist Dr. Vidya aur yeh hai Sister D'souza,tumhe kissi bhi cheez ki zaroorat ho toh inhe bulana yeh tumhaari madad kar dengi" said Dr. Nithya.[Ishita,I'm your doctor Dr. Nithya and this is your psychologist Dr. Vidya and this is Sister D'souza,if you need anything so call for her she'll help you.]
Dr. Nithya didn't introduce me to that man who was also standing there,that felt weird.
Then,Dr. Vidya asked me what all I could remember.
I told her everything I had told Dr. Nithya earlier.
Then she asked me why I was sitting there.
"Actually Dr. Vidya mere ex-fiance ne humaari engagement tod di ussi state mein main wahaan baithi hui thi." I told her while getting a little uncomfortable.[Actually Dr. Vidya my ex-fiance called off our engagement and in that state I was sitting there.]
After saying that I noticed that the man's face had sadness.
He signalled Dr. Vidya something and she asked her next question that felt very weird to me.
"Ishita tumhaare ex-fiance ka naam kya hai?" She asked.[What is your ex-fiance's name Ishita?]
"Uska naam Subbu hai" She said hesistantly.[He's name is Subbu]
After hearing my last answer everyone had a dejected look excluding that man he was behaving very weirdly.He went away with tears in his eyes.
"Ishita yeh sab kaun se year mein hua tha?" Dr. Vidya continued.[Ishita in which year did all this happen?]
"Aap aisa kyun bol rahi hai Dr. Vidya? I said with a confused tone.[Why are you saying this Dr. Vidya?]
"Of course issi saal 2011 mein !" I continued still being in a confused state.[Of course in this yesr 2011 !"]
"Yeh 2016 hai Ishita 2011 nahi !" Dr. Vidya announced.[Ishita this is 2016 not 2011 !]
I was confused,scared,numb and stressed at the same time.What was actually happening here in this hospital and especially my life.
