And true to his word, he was back in 5 minutes looking younger than usual in his casual jeans and t-shirt and they set off for the nearest pvr cinemas to make it in time for the movie. Luckily they made it in time and when ishita saw the tickets for fawad and sonam starrer Khoobsurat , she was shocked as she never expected raman to watch a ROMCOM wid her and when she questioned raman abt same , he just shoved it aside saying-" arre yaar aur kisi movie ke tickets itne short notice par available nahi the , toh apne chote se dimaag par itna zor mat dalo plzz." And without further argument they started watching the movie.
As the lights dimmed and movie started rolling on the screen, ishita completely forgot abt the surroundings and got engrossed in the movie. She had the reason to be this excited as she was watching the movie of her favorite type after along while and she was loving it. It was not long before raman's attention was caught by ishita's laughs, giggles and as he turned to see her , she was behaving like a child laughing and enjoying the scenes of the movie.
He cud see her face glowing even in dark cinema hall and he felt happy that his plan of getting tickets for her type of movie worked. As the song engine ki seeti came , ishita almost started dancing in her seat and did not stop until raman held her hand, jerked her towards him and said-" yaar kuch toh behave karo , everybody is looking at us." She just pouted like an angry child and raman mellowed down saying-" ok ok do what u feel like, I will also not bother abt people as they are strangers so continue wid ur antics." Ishita smiled and rest of the fist half passed away while ishita watched the movie and raman kept looking at ishita's face and did not feel the need to watch the movie as the reason he came here was happy and he was super happy.
As interval was abt to happen , ishita noticed raman had been staring at her and just as she was abt to say something , lights came up and people started getting up. Raman out of courtesy asked -" ishita kuch lo gi tum khane ke liye?" he did not expect what came up next from ishita as she said-" ya popcorn, burger and a sprite plz as I am damn hungry." And when she saw raman looking at her wid wide eyes, she looked at him and said -" ok ok u can share too ab aise ghooro mat lekar aao na plzz."
Raman went out and came after 10 minutes carrying eatables in tray and trying to balance so that they do not spill away and as he reached their seat, ishita grabbed her burger and sprite and told raman-" baitho na , popcorn aap pakad lo plz , my hands are full." And started gobbling down the burgers but when she saw raman not having anything, she turned to him and said-" aap apne liye kuch nahi laye? Its fine we can share." And offered her own sprite and burger to him and raman asked-" are u sure? There's one straw and burger is one too soo." Ishita just shrugged it off saying-" ya ya its ok , we are anyways going in for lunch after this so have it." And so they started sharing burger , sprite and popcorn and before the movie began again, ishita told him-" raman aap ab movie dekhna plz , Mujhe nahi." And raman blushed realizing his secret was caught and said-" haan haan Mujhe bhi shauk nahi hai tumhe dekhne ka paagal madrasan."
And rest of movie passed uneventfully and coming out of the cinema hall when ishita asked raman for his reviews on his first romcom movie after ages , he just accepted-" it was actually good yaar, itni buri nahi thi. I can manage it once in a while for others." And ishita just got happy and said-" see I told u na , now lets go I am damn hungry."
Raman-"again? Abhi toh itna khaya andar?"
Ishita-" use time ho gaya and I am hungry again, chalein?" raman just chuckled at her antics and said-" chalo."
But before they cud really move ahead, ishita turned around and asked raman suddenly surprising him saying-" ek minute ek minute aapne kahin who koi high fi hotel mein videshi khana khan eke liye table shable to nahi book ki hai na?"
Raman was surprised by this question of hers and asked-" kyun? Koi problem hai? I have booked hotel royal for lunch , it serves all types like thai, continental, Italian and all..."
Ishita-"wait wait wait no I am not going to any of ur those high fi hotels , u can go there and have ur Italian and continental whenever u like , aaj Mujhe full on Indian khaana chahiye.."
Raman -" ok wahan indian bhi milta hoga ishita , chalo ab yaar.."
Ishita just refused to move and said-" nopes not at all aaj main full on apna desi khana like paav bhaji, chole bhature, daal makhni type kahan khaungi aur who bhi kisi normal food joint par , jaise 7 dayz yakoi bhi normal restaurant jahan log roz khana jaate hain soo we are going there.. aap ko pata hai koi ya main bataun?"
Raman was surprised at his wife's childish and carefree side and he was happy to see her this way and today there was no chance he wud say no to her request even if it meant he eating all that spicy and oily food but for her ,he wud that day. In a mood to tease her , he said-" theek hai par achanak aaj aisa mood kyun hua tumhara madam?"
Ishita just pouted like a child and said-" iske peeche ek reason hai raman aur who main aapko detail mein samjhaungi while we will be having lunch toh ab batao chalein ya ghar waapis coz there is no way I am going to Royal..."
Raman just chuckled and said-" ok ok Jhansi ki rani we will got to funk food as it's a very cool food joint and it is just they way u want so game for it? Or u have some more issues?"
Ishita was surprised and asked herself-" raavan itni jaldi maan gaya? Wah beta ishu teri toh kismat achche hai aaj." And told raman-" ya I know abt it , I am fine wid it chalo.. I am starving."
Raman took her hand and said-" chalo and ya I will be waiting 4 ur detailed explanation on ur choice of food joint so be ready wid it , ok?"
Ishita just said-" haan haan I told u na bataungi baba ab chalein bohot bhook lagi hai raman plzz." And raman just chuckled at his wife's antics and sent a silent thank u to god for allowing him to change her mood for good.

They reached Funk Food soon and as expected it was much more crowded than any posh 5 star restro wud be. It was a comman food joint and there was hustle bustle all around wid people from all walks of life being there. Luckily they grabbed a table in time and sat down but even before they cud read the menu properly ishita started saying-" raman Mujhe ek paav bhaaji, ek chole bhature aur haan aloo poori khane hain , jao lekar aao.."
Raman was shocked and asked-" pata hai Mujhe tu moti hai par itna kaise khayegi yaar? Koi bhi insaan itna kaise kha sakta hai ... ek minue kahin tu sach mein kuch aur toh nahi hai insaan ke kapdon mein..?"
Ishita pouted in anger and said-" nahi main insaan hi hun aur haan raavan kumar yahan 2 log hain, do u remember? Khana aap bhi khaoge isiliye yeh sab samjhe?"
Raman was bewildered and said-" nopes yeh itna oily spicy khana aur main no waysss I am not having this at all .."
Before he cud say anything more ishita interrupted him and said-" oho mr raavan kumar ek din ke liye apna yeh health conscious wala tag chodoge plzz, ek din yeh sab kha lene se kya ho jayega? Mere jitney mote nahin hoge don't worry."
Raman chuckled at that and said-" really?? Jhansi ki rani khud ko mota keh rahi hai wah kya baat hai."
Ishita retorted back saying-" haan haan keh rahi hun ab plzz jaakar lekar aao na , ek din yeh sab khakar dekho raman u will love it for sure , sometimes change is really good u know. Ab jao I am starving.."
Raman-" jaa raha hun meri maa tum toh ruhi se bhi zyada ho gayi ho aaj." He turned around to see a long line at order counter and told himself-" chal beta raman ab yehi baaki reh gaya tha iss madrasan ke liye ab inn lambi line mein lag aur zor zor se chilla ke order de." And he smiled to himself and left.
While raman was busy struggling wid order , ishita relaxed in her chair and felt good seeing all the flurry of activity around and then smiled seeing her raavan kumar struggling wid ordinary people far away from his suave CEO persona.
Raman finally managed to get all 3 trays by balancing act and they both hurriedly started gorging the food as both were hungry by this time. raman actually loved the food and in middle asked-" ishita tumne bataya nahi tum yahan kyun aana chahti thi?"
Ishita replied while eating-"arre haan u wanted to know ki aaj main yahan kyun aana chahti thi aur kisi posh restro mein kyun nahi right?"
Raman was irritated by her suspense now and said-" haan haan meri maa yeh hi pooch raha hun , ab bol bhi de madrasan."
Ishita giggled and started explaining-" raman iss jagah ko dhyaan se dekhiye aur kuch der observe kariye..u will find many things happening at same place. Jaise who dekhiye who uncle aunty lagta hai kuch der apni family se doo time spend karne aayeh hain , who couple wid kids looks like kahin se ghoom kar aaye hain aur who friends group- teacher ke lecture se bachne ke liye aaye hain and who dono..." she pointed towards a young couple probably not married who were busy holding hands and whispering sweet nothings 2 each other and as raman looked at them she continued saying-" looks like they are in love aur duniya ki iss bhaag daud se door kuch time spend karne aaye hain saath , apne future ke liye sapne sajane ke liye u know..."
Raman who was noticing all that now asked-" haan dekha ab bolo?"
"offfoo raman aapne sirf dekha , kuch sochne ki koshish hi nahi ki.."ishita said.
Raman asked confusedly-" kya sochun ishita?"
Ishita explained-" think raman kya yeh sab jo abhi aapne dekha who reality hai ya who posh restros mein high class people showing fake love and emotions is reality?"
Raman now started getting what she was trying to say and he noticed everything again and felt yess she was right, this is what actual real life is and he said-" you mean iss jagah mein hamein who close to reality, close to normality of life wali feel aati hai right?"
Ishita was a bit surprised that raman understood it quickly and said-" haan raman exactly that's why main yahan aana chahti thi. I feel this is where we actually belong raman, close to normal hustle bustle of life and world. Who bade bade restros mein yeh mazaa kahan? Haina raavan kumar?"
Raman-" hmm u are right , even I am actually feeling good here and food was gr8 too."
Ishita prided on herself and said-"told u." meanwhile they ordered for ice cream which a waiter obliged to serve on their table and they kept chit chatting till raman got all little naughty and pointing at young couple whom ishita had referred to said-"waise madam aapko who sab theek lagta hai jo who log kar rahe hain?"
Ishita noticed whom raman was talking about and said-" haan kyun kya problem hai usmein?"
Raman-" kya problem hai? Really ishita? U think this getting touchy and lovey dovey in public is ok? Dnt know how people manage to behave this way. I toh can never show this pda at all."
Ishita was a bit pissed off now wid raman's views and chided him saying-" kya raman? Kya pda? They love each other and it is visible to all , problem kya hai issmein? Pyaar koi duniya se chupane ki cheez nahi hoti raman kyunki pyaar galat nahi hai..but rehne do u will never get that becoz u are a true raavan kumar in all sense jo khud kabhi kahin bhi pyaar nahi dikhata toh phir public toh bhool hi jao.."
and seeing her exasperated after lecture raman smiled at being successful in troubling his jkr and then said naughtily-" really ishita who sab toh theek hai par tum really chahti ho ki main pyaar dikhaaoon...I mean kisko aur kahan dikhana hai bol toh sahi madrasan..." and saying this he came closer to her and this sudden closeness made ishita nervous and she muttered-" I mean.. mera matlab.. who wohh.."
Raman laughed out aloud at her condition and said-" ice cream kha aur jaldi chal shopping jana hai.."
Ishita-" shopping kyun raman? Do we need something?"
Raman-" need se kya hai waise hi bhi toh shoppin kar sakte hain na. I already told u at home ki we will go for shopping , u forgot?"
Ishita remembered and said-" arree haan chalo I am done. Lets go."
They paid the bill and left reaching the biggest mall of the city soon. As soon as they entered the mall, both of them started behaving like complete shopping buffs and ran around the entire mall for hours picking anything and everything they cud find for all the family members. Raman was happy to see a chirpiness in ishita and at that moment his heart started singing
Bakhuda tumhi ho , har jagah tumhi ho
Haan main dekhoon jahan jab
Uss jagah tumhi ho
Yeh jahan tumhi ho, who jahan tumhi ho
Iss zameen se falak ke darmiyaan tumhi ho

Soon when they got tired of shopping for everyone , ishita said-" raman I think aaj ke liye itna kafi hai , chalein yahan se?"
Raman was surprised as it was the first time he had seen a woman wanting to go back from a mall not shopping for herself at all. He told her-" arre abhi kahan? Hamari shopping kahan huyi abhi?"
Ishita-" raman Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye really , I have everything , aapko kuch chahiye toh mens section chalte hain ok?"
Raman was in no mood for any arguments and stated in no nonsense tone-"no madam we are not going as yet , main yahan hum sabke liye shopping karne laya tha tumhe yaar aur sab mein hum bhi aate hain so we are going to shop for both of us too , samjhi?"
Ishita tried to argue saying-" raman really there's no need."
Raman-" come on ishita shopping ke liye reason ki kabse zaroorat padne lagi , yeh toh hum kabhi bhi kar sakte hain agar haath mein cash aur bank mein paise hon . so now main yeh bags car mein daal kar aata hun meanwhile u go into that store on the right ok? I will just join u."
Seeing raman adamant to shop , ishita gave in and said-" theek hai , I will be waiting."
As raman went in to parking lot, ishita entered that huge shop and started exploring things there. After around 10 minutes , as she neared a sensor machine , it started beeping continuously indicating there was something wrong wid her. Some staff from shop came to ishita and told her in politest way possible-" mam, plz cud u come this way plzz."
Ishita was confused and asked-" kyun? What just happened?"
Salesman-" mam plz come this way. We need 2 check ur handbag."
Ishita was shocked-" what? Why do u need 2 check my bag? U think I have stolen something? Are u mad?"
Salesman-" mam plz dnt create a scene and cooperate wid us and u will not be troubled if there's nothing wrong plz."
Ishita gave in and gave her handbag and was shocked to see a small manicure kit which was seal packed and had a sensor on it being discovered in her bag. She knew what it appeared and she was shocked as well as embarrassed abt what she wud do next. Salesman said-"mam this is serious , u need to come wid me and meet the manager."
Ishita tried to put across her point saying-" see I have not stolen it , believe me there is a misunderstanding." Salesman did not listen to her and said-" mam I told u plz cooperate otherwise we will need to involve police in it."
Ishita cud never reply back as strong voice boomed from behind-" what the hell is happening here?" 😡she saw an angry raman bhalla marching towards them and knew that there wud surely be trouble now.
