Valentine Spl IshRa FS - A Day 2 Forget? part 5A & B pg 16

Although it was a regular day at the Bhalla household but Raman Bhalla was a confused and angry man today and the reason was one and the only his wife Ishita Bhalla . He had seen that his wife was not in her usual jkr element since last 2 days. She was angry, silent , teary and even cranky and even ignored ruhi once which was a shocker for him. It was the first time he was seeing her so solemn since their wedding and he was totally not ready for it. He was used to her taunts, her pouty face, her fighting wid him and her smiles but now it had vanished somewhere and he cud not take it.

The possibility that he might have done something or someone related to him like shagun,ashok or even aadi had done something to upset her disturbed him badly. After racking his brains hard trying to get what cud be the reason for her being upset , when he cud nt come to any satisfactory conclusion, he gave up and asked ishita directly last night saying-" ishita koi problem hai kya? U look upset. Paagal madrasan ka mooh kaise band rehta hai aajkal? Koi special reason ya muhpe taras aa gaya?"

His attempt failed badly as she just gave him a confusing sad look and without replying went to the couch and lied down leaving him angrier and he deliberately tried to make her fight wid him saying-" kya yaar? Pooch toh problem na pooch toh problem , paagal ke saath saath behri bhi ho gayi ho kya?"

He expected a retort or fight back in return but never got one as she did not even move and showed herself to be asleep which pissed raman off completely and he lied down muttering to himself-" nahi batana mat batao , yeh koi miss india nahi hai jo sab inke aage peeche lage rahenge. Do hell wid her , jo karna hai kare Mujhe kya farak padta hai."

Although he tried to sleep but sleed evaded him badly and the scenario in morning was not much different apart from the fact that ishita had gone even more morose and her eyes looked like she had been crying too much. There was no one else in the house apart from ishra as family had gone wid kids to meet some relatives of theirs and although he did not feel like leaving ishita alone in the house in that state , he cud do nothing abt it and stepped out from his house to go to office.

As he stepped in the corridor he saw vandu and mihika talking and his ears perked up as he heard the topic of their conversation to be ishita. Maybe he cud get 2 knw something through them and he hid at an angle so that nobody cud see him and listened to their convo.

Vandu-" mihku ishu theek hai na?"

Mihika-"yaa akka she is ok but u know na ki har saal who aaj ke din kea as paas kaise ho jaati hain so.."

Vandu-" haan I know par Mujhe laga she is married and has a family this year so it wud be better ."

Mihika-" ho sakta tha akka but u know na family is nt here. Ruhi hoti toh akka itni sad nahi reh pati ab toh sirf raman jeeju hain and I dnt know who iss matter par kitna help kar payenge soo..."

Vandu-" hmm waise mujhe toh yeh lagta hai ki iss din na raman can handle ishu the best being her husband but since their equation is complicated so it gets tough.."

Raman was intrigued and prayed that they talk abt what the matter exactly was an luck sided wid him as he heard the further conversation.

Mihika-" u r absolutely right akka , jeeju cud have been the best person for akka at this time but ...afterall its abt how she was ditched na.."

Vandu-" haan mihika I feel for ishu really as it s never easy to forget such a horrific day of one's life when her life turned upside down in few hours."

Mihika-" ya she was abt 2 get engaged to her love and start a new life and unhe mila kya? Instead she got 2 biggest shocks of her life - of her nt being a mother and subbu deserting her, Mujhe aajtak samajh nahi aaya how she cud take it?"

Vandu-" even I was shocked to see ishu so brave but somewhere I expected this as she is amma's daughter and we are taught to be brave, aren't we?"

Mihika-" u right par dekho na aap uss baat ko kitne saal ho gaye but whenever dis day comes after a year, it drains the life out of her. Pehle se hi kitni upset ho jaati hain who. Maine dekha tha kal unhe and she looked miserable. I cud nt even do anything abt it as I did not knew what to say so I let her go."

They both sobbed and then composed themselves and vandu said-" I just hope one day she forgets dis day completely and even better it becomes the happiest day of her life. She shld get unconditional love and I hope she gets it from raman and her family sometime in future."

Mihika agreed saying-" haan I am sure she will. Raman jeeju is gem of a person , hope these 2 get together soon. Ok I shld leave I am getting late for office."

Vandu-" yup even I am running late,bye."

Raman was shocked to hear all this was an understatement. He cud now get why ishita was behaving that way and he cud not blame her for her behavior as he knew what it meant to be deserted but the fact that ishita behaved dis way for only few days a year while he was drowned in his misery for abt 6 years made him respect the lady in front of him even more.

He said to himself-" kya hua agar hamari equation complicated hai, hun toh main ishita ka husband , uska life partner hi na. ishita ne hamesha meri problems ko apna mana hai and dis time its my turn." Vandu is right she will remember dis day but happily from now on and it doesn't matter if they loved each other or not but they had promised 2 be wid each other through thick and thin and he was going to follow that promise just then.

He called up mihir and told him the entire situation and mihir told him to be wid ishita and not worry abt work at all. So after 10 minutes of cancelling appointments and meetings and throwing his work aside for the day , he stepped in the house and went to his room to see a sad and silent ishita sitting on floor , her head resting on her legs and her eyes filled wid tears and hopelessness in her body language and he decided to put his plan for her into action.

He stepped into the room in his normal demeanor and went to his wardrobe casually asking ishita-" ishita tum aaj clinic nahi jaa rahin?"

Ishita who realized her position quickly wiped her tears and tried to look normal and said-" nahi who aaj kaam nahi hai . aap office nahi jaa rahe?"

Raman-" nahi actually I had just one important meeting today and I just got to know its also been cancelled so I decided to stay at home only."

Ishita-" ok , toh aapke liye kuch laaun? Aapko chahiye kuch?"

Raman just came and sat beside ishita on the floor and said-"nahi Mujhe kuch nahi chahiye but tumhe kuch zaroor chahiye."

Ishita got confused and said-" Mujhe? Mujhe kya chahiye? I dnt need anything."

Raman-" u need a break ishita, u need some time off from all this."

Ishita-" break? I dnt think so."

Raman-" but I think so and I have a plan."

Ishita-" plan?"

Raman-" u knw na aaj meri bhi chutti hai so I was thinking why dnt we catch up a movie in sometime and then have lunch at a restaurant and after that we will do some shopping, roam around india gate and then come back in evening and have a self cooked dinner?"

Ishita was quite surprised and said-" yeh sab hum dono? Are u sure?"

Raman- " ya I am . socho yaar is ghar mein poore din ke liye band hokar ek doosre ka chehra dekh dekhkar ladne ya frustrate hone se achche hai we spend some good time together outside. It won't be that bad yaar and as we will be in public , we won't get a chance to fight too so din bhi pass ho jayega aur mazaa bhi aayega what say?"

Ishita thought for a while and then realized it cud do wonders to her current state of mind and she immediately said-" theek hai lets go , I am in."

Raman was happy to see her smiling as his plan had started working out well. His main aim was to keep her mind somewhere else so that she wud nt get a chance to think abt that day and this outing wud do just that. He mentally bucked himself up saying-" I need to make it work." And told ishita-" ok u get ready as I am already dressed up and I will wait 4 u in lobby and we will leave in half an hour? Fine by u?"

Ishita-" ya fine , I will just come."

Raman-" ok I am waiting." And saying that he went to lobby and started booking tickets for available show.

While raman made the arrangements for movie tickets, ishita got ready and came out around 15 minutes later but in totally different avatar. Since there was no one at home and her mind was already very heavy , she decided to loosen up a bit and dresses up in long tee and capris and left her hair open. She did not do any makeup apart from kohl and wore a wrist watch and had her cellphone in her hand.

Raman was mesmerized seeing his Jhansi ki rani in that look wud be the understatement of the year as he was totally bowled over and stumped seeing ishita like that. He cud not believe that his kapdon ki than had gone out to be so loosened up and in college girl avatar.

Ishita cud understand raman's surprise on seeing her but what she did not expect was such jaw dropping expression of his on seeing her. The possibility of him being mesmerized by her was not a feasible thought according to her as he had interacted wid many much more attractive women before and his continuous taunts abt her appearance also did nt help the matter at all and she got confused abt her reaction till she herself snapped him out of his reverie and asked him-" raman kahan kho gaye? Chalein? Its getting late."

Raman came out of his trance and smiling said-" kya yaar ishita ,yeh kya kiya?"

Ishita-" kya kiya?"

Raman-"tum aise dress up hokar aayi ho , ab main inn kapdon mein kaise chalunga tumhare saath?"

Ishita was confused and said-"kyun inn kapdon mein kya problem hai?"

Raman was back to her witty mode and said-"arre paagal aurat agar aise suit pant pehen ke tumhare saath bahar gaya na toh log sochenge koi badi umar ka aadmi ghar par biwi ko chodkar bahar ek college girl ke saath maze kar raha hai , samjhi."

Ishita chuckled at his dialogue and raman felt he achieved his motive of making her laugh. She just said-" kuch bhi raman, toh ab jao change karke aao jaldi." While in her mind she felt happy to hear that raman had compared her to a college girl.

Raman said-" haan haan ja raha hun , waise tumhe badi jaldi ho rahi hai bade umar ke aadmi ke saath bahar jaane ke liye?" and winked naughtily while she retorted back saying-" haan college girl is so eager to be wid u , u shld be pleased na?" and raman just chuckled and left in saying-" will be back in 5."
