Sigh...so its happening...and you know what I am not even surprised with the news completely, not because we knew this was coming but because well this is an Ekta show and at some point she does pull the trigger, at times repeatedly before she deems her show to useless or the channel does and shuts shop.
I should have perhaps seen this coming on the day that I began getting addicted to this show and sadly, I dont know why I didnt...
Alas, I dont know what to say at the moment - lament the fact that I fell in love with this show which once upon a time seemed REAL, RELATABLE & LOVABLE or mourn that it isnt the same anymore and with this leap will become even more unidentifiable especially if it means bidding goodbye to our adorable Ruhanika...at this point though as we dont know the duration of the leap, this is still a dicey question...
And I feel worse for the talented bunch of actors, barring a few...I dont need to name them, who are being wasted with this show - who proved their mettle and time and again made us realize why we stuck to this show even when it drove us crazy, its sad to see that the creators who gave us these characters today have butchered them...
Anyhow, I dont want to mull over things which I have no control or change over, I dont want to keep mourning things I cant do anything about - cause quite frankly I have made my peace with it and accepted it.
Honestly it wasnt an unexpected move to be blunt here. The story is saturated, the cast too looks bored with some of the tracks at times and tonight though this crazy track was wrapped up in a way which tied things down somewhat reasonably, the show was at an all time low - story wise though the TRPs say otherwise.
And while we on this forum might rant and complain and what not - the truth is we dont matter in hte larger scheme of things - the numbers by which the channel goes isnt a reflection of us or even our thoughts - its a group that exists beyond this online plane...and they matter and while sometimes a move like a leap backfires and harms a show like it has done to the former numero uno of the channel which is now pushed down quite considerably on the charts, it also works wonders for some of them like our predecessor which has grabbed the top spot after the leap they took...and so while we emotional fools may cry and plead and beg, the people who look at numbers arent gonna be thinking emotionally cause they have invested financially in this show and want a greater outcome from this than they currently are getting.
And hence, I am not even gonna try and protest because frankly, it wont make a difference. And the people who help with the numbers who eventually matter to the people taking these shots are gonna be the ones that they think about even if they cater to us...and frankly my instincts might be wrong but they could be right too when I say this that post the leap though the show will be called insane, the reasons behind this seperation also illogical, YHM will not loose the eyeballs its grabbing, rather people might start rewatching it, yeah those who left it a long way back just to see a resurrected RKB, who had gone missing from the show - because thats gonna be the first thing that would be worked upon when the leap happens - the Raman that people fell in love with, the old RKB who was a heartless individual with a tongue that scalded many with a temper that was ever ready to flare and fire away will be back and Gan, mark my words...with his return there will be people who will claim to fall in love with the show all over again or discover it and stuff...
All I know is...this is an attempt at resuscitation and I'll just go with the flow...we had complaints regarding a lot of things with the show and well...this is how makers address it - with a reboot...
