@red - errr, I beg to differ it took his daughter calling him and the rest of the elders out in public on Lohri too. The only example that strikes me when this happened on its own was recently when the party ended and it occurred to him a year back Ishita was in his shoes and he could have made the effort to at least stand with her in a place full of strangers and not abandon her...I would pick this apology over the Lohri one anyday, cause he didnt need anything else except his own experience and conscience to make him willingly admit to things at the time no matter if the next moment things went south 😵 Yeah but the Lohri kaand was due to overly contrived galatfemi that he ended up seeking forgiveness for. Ruhi just helped him realize that he was confused. *rolls eyes at the stupidity of the entire situation* 🤓

I actually haven't seen the reunion party sequence episodes yet, so I totally forgot about him seeking forgiveness for ditching her in the past! But I guess part of that sorry was forgotten thanks to the mess that unraveled once that got home! 🤔

@purple - if it made sense to anyone, even the writer that person deserves an applause in the least 😆

@bold - 2 other shows and marriage is the answer 😳 Off screen answer yep, but on screen...will it be coma? business trip? running away? staying miffed at Biwi & totally avoiding everyone? There are oh so many fun and creative possibilities! 😃
