Anku I love that full positive you is back especially after a few weeks back! 🤗

I find it easy to get caught up in the "eh" of certain episode when I watch in isolation (or foolishly surf around IF), and there is still so much beauty in this show. So the positive, grounded posts by you, Aani, Tanvi, & others are like a breath of fresh air! 🤗

And with that...I should probably go to bed now! 😃

Haha I am glad to be back too literally or otherwise 😆

There is a beautiful story lying beneath all the drama and dragging in YHM. Sometimes it surfaces to be seen clearly and sometimes it does not. But it's always there.

Hey guys...

Did I miss something ...
Bhalla's & Iyer's are collectively worried about Rinki's shaadi...No one questioned or commented on Ishra fight or Ishita being at Iyers...
I mean if it's every day fight I wouldn't have worried but somehow the words seemed too cruel and out of the blue ...
& even all the OLVs show them in their regular bickering way
so is it not that big a fight?

Blasting Mihika..
Commenting on her family..
"When it comes to my sister and my family, I won't spare anyone"
"Get out"
Seemed Big enough for me...

But
The way he watched Mihir & Ishita convincing Rinki...
The way he defended Mihika the previous day ...
& The way he defended Mihir in the room before...
Makes me wonder, May be he is acting...
& more importantly whenever he shouts at Mihir it's always something else in the background..

& I don't think Ishita knows...because she was thinking about the party and his words when she was crying...

Hey Aani n Krishy. Love ur takes n agree too 👏
U know this might sound weird but I have seen people in d real world being so selfless n giving in a joint family. Rightly put Aani if ur the older son n DIL it's expected from u. Coming from a joint family myself I have seen it closely so can relate to it easily.
I dint have an issue with Puttar loosing it n being irrational many times coz that's how he is. Had he just shouted n yelled trying to control things I can get it. When Rinky said that I knew he would not correct her or stop her but what she said kind of him more, he kind of made him feel more bad, those ppl who feel guilty easily n feel that everyone's happiness depends on him. I can be wrong here but just my POV.
What ticked me off was...dafa ho jaao followed by the go go. 😕 He was shouting at Mihir coz his sister was hurt, what was he doing to Ishita in front of her parents. What was even more upsetting is they happily skipped to the next day. No remorse no guilt no missing her nothing.it was almost like seeing two different people.
Ishita will still help MiRi...fine but I really want her not to give in to him so easily. It's not about the family but about them here. What's irritating me is once again Shagun comes in n talks about Ishita n he says nothing to her. Is this where the famous triangle starts playing out 😡 He throws her out like this. He tells her Adi is now home n I'm complete so we can take the next step, he tried cheating her n taking the files. I'm sooo upset that they have ruined my most fav charachter so many times 😭
It's frustrating when his love is baseless n so conditional n yet we need to worry about Ishita, I said this earlier too, it's almost like the cvs too don't like Ishita n kind of favour their fav star more so she can fit into the triangle 😭
Sorry for the long rant.

Tia I live in a nuclear family but know the workings of a joint one so I know puttar and biwi just cant live their lives and romance when they want too, they cant expect to just say you know what everyone is a grown up here so let them handle their own mess but at some point you have to let it happen too - even in joint families at some point the elders have to let the youngsters GROW UP, thats essential to their own benefit, after all you cant hang on someone else' sleeve forever in your life and no one is immortal...and when it comes to things like marriages families in India do butt in thats not even debatable here, whats wrong is the approach shown - it makes no sense for Raman to kick Ishita out even if to demonstrate a point to his sister that you know what - see my wife and I have a problem too and since she wasnt as dumb as you to walk out on me, I kicked her out - now both of us have marriages that are in soups, you just cool down a bit and then feel sorry for your brother, ask him to get his wife back since living apart wont solve any problems and voila he can say the same goes for you.

Doing practicals in a chem lab to demonstrate to your peers or students is one thing - the same rules dont apply for life however, some things can be handled theoretically too.

As for the remorse and guilt part, dont expect it right now he can disappear any moment so it will take time - which is to say all the guilt, realization - the jazz will play out once Karan is back from his honeymoon to shoot for YHM things will be on hold till then, if it does happen sooner though it will be a miracle, only one which will make me dread what next instead of being excited for it and by dread I mean what can be stupider than this

As for him not reacting when Shagun said stuff I wasnt even surprised considering that he himself thinks that and really I am still wrapping my head around the whole concept of I need Adi back to "complete my marriage with you" thing...that is quite frankly one of the most ludricious things I have seen in my experience as a TV viewer, that a husband needs to have his son under his roof to consummate his marriage with his new wife...I dont even think its polite to even mention discreetly the hint of some of the things that I wish to write about this

In YHM it's not normal. Both Raman and Ishita are poles apart in everything. Their nature, their caste, their upbringing, their thoughts and what makes it the hardest is the kind of ordeal they have both undergone. And like I've mentioned even before they are VERY strong individuals. And hence their opinions are going to differ, there will be clashes and issues. Still inspite of all this, they've come to make a beautiful marriage and world of their own, no matter how dis-functional it can get at times. It's still not as bad as the many other soaps and stories I've seen. It's a lot more real to what marriages in such cases can be. Where there is a lot more baggage.

Yes Ishita is the more giving here, and a huge portion of the success of this relation goes to her understanding, calm nature too. Which even Raman accepts. Raman is a complex difficult man who has come to soften and develop a lot considering all he went through. After being crippled like a nothing in his first marriage because he was as worm, loving and giving himself.. He's hardened himself to never weaken again and that's the reason he sometimes builds walls like these that make him look harsh.

In any case men are supposed to be known as egoistic fools and overgrown kids. 😆

So Raman will make mistakes, will learn, will apologize. And we'll keep saying why they make him the bali ka bakra. Lekin it's quite a realistic approach even then. His character's strength and weaknesses make him what he is. And no matter how weird their relation might get or already is. IshRa are still a special pair and there's no denying it.

Having said all that, some dialogues and tracks are out of the blue and too dramatic. Which doesn't go well with the development already made. But then again it's a daily soap and you can't expect more than the realism they've shown so far. So even though we'll keep having issues with a lot shown.. I think we're still in a better place as viewers compared to the mundane stuff on television.

I hardly come to this thread, I was bored so I decided to come here and I see this post of yours.. DAMN hats off to your possitivity! 👏Beautiful post! You have wonderfully written it. 😳

Anku brillaint post sweetheart 👏

As much as we all appreciate there to be things that would be close to reality as much as possible on a show the ultimate truth is that these are shows and characters are fictional and they will behave in an OTT manner sometimes to spice up things, sometimes to lean on creative liberty because this is business at the end of the day and if things wrapped up too soon how would they run these shows for years which sustain the livelihoods of so many while they entertain innumerable fans

Aani thank you 🤗

I agree. Daily soaps can get extremely dramatic and many times stupid and brainless. But at least YHM even when its tracks are sometimes way too dragged/rushed/abruptly end has a story that's NOT senseless and its treatment is not stupid. At least not THAT stupid. At the end of the day, this is a show, which is not supposed to end any time soon. Which has a story left to say and more stories around the corner to be written and shown. So nothing can be right/perfect in one day itself and won't be as much as we'll like it to be.

Replying to one of your posts above. In a more realistic approach, I wouldn't even take a plan like Raman's as a justification to the scene yesterday. But its way better for it to be a plan than to be real, because then that's just BIZARRE. At least if its a plan we can justify and accept it, that things were done this way to dramatize and spice the episodes. What with the TRP counting returning again.

Aani ur post is so just & proper & I completely agree with ur points...Even if Raman is doing this all show business just to make his sister realise the imp of marriage in her life this is definitely not the way to react jus to place an example in front of ur sister!! The person you r dealing & using cruel words (to be harsh threating her like a trash) is Your WIFE & not any kind of an object, element or thing!!! I had pointed out my displeasure wit the track in my previous post on this LU thread too that absolutely nothing...and I mean nothing justifies his actions!! It is said that when u live in a joint family, ur husband sets an example to all those living under the roof to behave wit his wife. If u disrespect, humiliate, say mean words to ur wife in front of the entire family over & over again why would anyone else not follow the same pattern. And on second thought even if he is doing everything to show Rinky (under the disguise of a plan) where the hell was Rinky at that moment???. She had already left that place. 😕

And abt he needing Adi to be under his roof to complete his marriage😡 I hv many things to say abt it but can't say it all out here 😆
