Ya even i don't get the technical stuff and hw this industry works...like iv no clue on hw much do ppl actually comply 100% with timelines in deployments and what kind of issues are exactly out of whoes faults...change of plan is obviously a cost centre how much and how exactly i don't hv the basics to calculate... But ya i do hv my understanding of managerial behavior; not much but some basics i can comment on...

I am not sure the guy is wrong. He is the operations guy.. He was removed from the transpro process...so when the operations guy is needed, he is sent a mail...He calculates the ROI and accordingly approves...So he does his job here...He is not suddenly coming and spoiling II's plans..If it is one thing, the guy is very honest in work place...

Now coming to transpro, the problem here is not just any scalability. They have a common software and they keep on adding patches to make it work for transpro...and the patches are terribly failing...We know in softwares, wat happens with patches 😆 😆 That is the problem for R&B...Adding patches introduces way more bugs and their software is too memory intensive for his likes...That is why he calles it a kluge

and they absolutely have no experience in working with this kind of scale...Infact scalability is not sooo easy...today the main work in google networking side I am working is scalability...I dont say that they are handling that scale...I am just saying that for transpro, even the 60000 is a very high scale compared to the 50-100 ppl companies they are working...

The only claim of R&B is that this software is not going to work for excelsior...He thinks that they need custom software for their specifications and workloads and that the software will still fail even after hardware updates...

Agreed that transpro os a good software but it is not a fit for excelsior...period..
