and no i am with KMPG - she had a doubt but trust me software that is built and used in production cannot be that rotten its not a baniye ki dukan anymore all the companies that come up with a product cant exist in business if the product is real crappy takes minimum 2 years to develop and test Vs Excel corp run by baniyas like chachus with old hardware 😆

I have had just one interface with IT when they were rolling out new system for our group. I was one of guinea pig to be on trial🤢 , IT department had run & made that thing for 15 months before it was sent on trial and I was worked on it for 4 months with the daily feedback to IT . It was painful and it another 3 months before it rolled across the group. It took them 3 months to get rid of all the bugs. It was an in-house made software so it was a slow process(Japanes Bank ), but when we had vendor doing stuff, believe the Bank just gave 3 months of trial before kicking them out.

Bally is litreally running away poor II she has to defend a sub-standard software. 😕 and has to deal with a new manager.

totally true Anu..the fact is that KMPG over promised..couldn't meet deadlines and now the client is suffering..Excelsior is a big client..and its not that II and team doesn't have resources..its plain simple that whatever they thought is not working...they need to change their strategy drastically...I faced the same issue in my project..we have to change the whole code 2 days before deployment..made us crazy but then can't upset the client..

In my opinion Bally was lenient..no matter how much we curse, a strong ,determined, deadlines abiding PM is extremely essential..I too crib about my boss but at the end of the day we are achieving something..all hard work, late night work is of no use if the client is gonna reject it outright...and we all know R&B is dead against new hardware until he has full faith in the s/w..
