And look at him, he forgot his own pain momentarily and stepped up to reassure her that he's going to take care of it. Not the actions of a snooty, MCP ..is it?

This is a human tale..where both make mistakes, and when they get angry they yell at each other but they both also feel and understand the other side...sometimes we just need to put ourselves in their shoes before we jump into judging their actions...Raman is at fault...Ishita might have said she has no one/nothing (can't recall the exact phrease)...but they have always beem there for each other. even at the time when they were not in love with each other. That's their YHM.

Sorry for the rant...but let's not make every episode about Raman v Ishita but sometimes that's all I see here in the forum..so needed to get it off my chest.

Gan, if this was in reply to my MCP thing, then you have mixed two things in this update. I have never said ishita does not love Raman or vice-versa. In fact she loves Ruhi and Raman both, but her breakdown now is about losing Ruhi and trying to protect her rather than about saying ILU to Raman which people in various threads in the forum are saying and I have been defending Ishita as a mother. My thing about MCP was just the way events were last week which led to this- Raman was all of last week doing various things hiding them from ishita trying to protect her. Thats fine with me. But the way he has been throwing attitude at her and not talking to her etc... is to say why dont you mind your own business. You have done enough, I know better... that is what his body language seemed to convey along with the guilt of hiding stuff from her. If u remember everyone in the forum was expecting him to say sorry or grovel etc. It was like offence is the best form of defence for him.

Now he is not being an MCP, but still he is blaming Shagun for this without owning up to the fact that he has let her manipulate him again! He knows what Shagun is like and in legal matters he should have been more careful. which CEO does not read a document before he signs? I am a director in a company and wont sign a single document even if it is routine without reading, no matter who gets it!

Having said that the show must go on. For tracks to develop one of them has to create a blunder. I love RKB and Ishita both and love Ishra's journey even though it has been over dramatized at times!

I guess people are misunderstanding those who are saying that for ishita only ruhi matters, nobody else. We are not saying that on the basis of today's episode, but on what is about to come. She clearly mistrusts everybody in the house now, including Raman, and that is why she ran off with ruhi. Ruhi is her life, agreed, but there are others now in that life too, arent there. Her running away just shows that for her nobody else matters, its only and only ruhi in her life, negating the past year completely. No ruhi means no raman,no family?? This is actually a fault of cvs who took the story 1 year back, to start it all over again.
she cud've stayed with everybody and fought for ruhi,as she has ruhi's permanent custody. There was no need for such drastic steps. She really thinks anyone else in the family wud let shagun take ruhi away? She thinks that raman wud purposely sign off ruhi for adi?? Then she doesnt know her family and husband at all. They are grieving too, they needed to stick together and be each other's support. Raman needs her too.
the cvs are completely ignoring the fact that raman is ruhi's father and is devastated too. He is at fault but the blame game wont help! He was deceived! Like many have been, so many times! The cvs need to focus on his character too! He is not there just to romance his wife, or make mistakes then say sorry!!

going through the forum, I saw various topics made regarding the episode
yesterday and it really got me thinking.
I would like to put my view forth on some of them. Gan, I hope you don't mind.</font></font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"></font>

<font face="Times New Roman"><font size="3">1.</font> <font size="3">Raman
is all alone :
Is Raman actually
alone ? No he is not alone, he CHOSE to
be alone in this. He could easily have
confided in Ishita, like he did when he resigned. Even when she was angry with him, she kept the
channel of communication open, but Raman did not tell her anything. He chose to do everything by himself. Does that make him an MCP ? No. He made a decision, albeit a wrong one, where
he put not only Ruhi but his relationship with Ishita on line. Why ? This is where the crux of the matter
lies. In his eyes, Ishita is the ideal
mother. He sees the way she has brought
up Ruhi and he wants the same for Adi.
But, and there is a big one here, does he see Ishita as the ideal wife
? He is still measuring Ishita by the
Shagun yardstick. The one where she
should be happy with the material comforts that he can provide and one where
she does not want to be involved in his emotional issues. His experience with Shagun has scarred him, and
he is unable to see Ishita, the woman who is willing, not only willing to walk shoulder
to shoulder with him, but also help him through his emotional issues. That is
the reason why Ishita is so upset and angry with him, because he did not
confide in her and his impulsive action has put her daughter and her life on
the line.</u></font></font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"></font>

<font face="Times New Roman"><font size="3">2.</font> <font size="3">Ishita
loves Ruhi more than Raman :
I have
already explained a little earlier. Yes
she does. But we cannot compare her love
for Ruhi with her love for Raman. Ruhi
is her identity. She got into this relationship with Raman BECAUSE of Ruhi.</font></font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"></font>

<font face="Times New Roman"><font size="3">3.</font>
<font size="3">Something to happen to Raman and Ishita
should be made to choose between Raman and Ruhi :
That is like asking Ishita to choose between
the beating of her heart and her life's breath.
How can she choose between Raman and Ruhi ? When Raman spoke with Adi and told him about
moving on, he was not choosing between Ishita and Adi. No, he was getting his son to accept the
fact, that Shagun and Raman would never be together, they could never be
together. That did not mean he loved his
son any less, just that he gave his son a clearer picture of the facts and made
him accept that. But is Ishita in the
same position as Raman ? She is being
put in a position where her life / her identity is at stake. Yes,
Raman completes her, but Ruhi fulfills her
! This is the main difference. Is Ishita obsessed by Ruhi ? No, she is not. But Ruhi is who defines her, the one person,
who fulfilled all her shortcomings for which she was rejected time and again.</font></font>

<font face="Times New Roman" size="3"></font>

<font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">I
hope this makes sense, as it did atleast in my head !<u></font></font>

Word becky!! I so agree with everything u said. People in the forum take sides so easily they just think from one perspective and don't analyse the entire situation!! I m nor saying Raman is in lesser pain off course he is hurt as hurt as ishita is as he is also loosing his daughter and even son in this but raman's actions are the reason for this mess and he has to own up for it!! But ishita's loss is not due to her own but bc of raman thats y she is angry on him which is justified as he always hide things from her if he would have talked to her she would have been standing with him shoulder to shoulder to come out of this mess but he chose not to!! In this case one can also say raman doesn't love ishita enough bc he always hides such imp things from ishita or else he considers ishita as a lesser wife but is anybody saying that?! A big NO!! As raman had his reasons to hide things and we all buy them!! Then y to blame her if she is angry on him as she is on the verge of loosing her life to woman like shagun bc of her husbands negligence isnt it natural??

I concur with you 100%, Raman is hurting more than we can say and imagine. BUT, why did he not speak with Ishita, and she asked him umpteen number of times. Remember she offered to go with him to the lawyers'. She ran away, coz yes, she has lost trust. Why ? Due to Toshi's constant GKC rant n Raman hiding information from her. She asked yesterday, why is nobody talking to Shagun, everyone was in shock, n she decided to take matters into her own hands. She is panicking. She is human too.. Ruhi is her lifeline ! For her Ruhi defines her as a woman n mother !

Not anymore!! She has another identity too!! What was that talk to Raman about (U complete me!!) She needs everybody's support and everybody in her family needs her too!! There is no need for such drastic step! All that is needed is the reversal of contract or proof that Shagun is a fraud, which Raman can solve in a day!

As for hiding info from Ishita, it wasnt coz he doesnt trust her; it was coz it wasnt Ishita's burden to bear!! If Ishita wud have known that she wud have worried, wud have workeed extra hard to keep up with the expenses, to sustain the family, which Raman always sees as his responsibilty only. And what cud he say to everyone???? That he is buying his son?????

Bold : Bingo ! You have answered your own question here ! Why Ishita ran away and why she took matters into her own hands. Plus, should she have given Ruhi to Shagun calmly when Raman and Bala find out that the courts were closed until Monday and Shagun had given an ultimatum of 24 hours ?

A very long post that I made and everything got deleted.
It was a very beautifully done and acted, heart-wrenching, poignant, tear-jerking and an emotional episode. Took me some time to compose myself.
I still have not completely read all the posts here but a few that I read made me respond. It is relating to Shagun and she, loving Adi in her own way.
It makes me think- What/ Which way is it? Certainly it is not an unconditional motherly love. I might get bashed regarding this- but in my opinion, she loves Adi, as he is the ONLY one who truly and unconditionally loves her. So, she tends to cling onto him, a 12 yr old child.

She is the utmost selfish person and personifies NARCISSISM.

"The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the centre of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children". - Jessica Lange

"A mother has far greater influence on her children than anyone else, and she must realise that every word she speaks, every act, every response, her attitude, even her appearance and manner of dress affect the lives of her children and the whole family. It is while the child is in the home that he gains from his mother the attitudes, hopes and beliefs that will determine the kind of life he will live and the contribution he will make to society".- N. Eldon Tanner

Is it really necessary to post something about such a negative character. Really not worth the time and energy, but I just wanted to show case the difference between the 2 characters. One who is a biological mother but not an iota of motherhood and 1 on the other hand, who portrays motherhood in every way possible.

Finally to conclude, a quote which I really liked and at this stage suits Ishita.

" There's no b***h on earth like a mother frightened for her kids". - Stephen King

(P.S: I apologise if any of these quotes have already been used. Not intentionally done).
