We are two opposites in real and reel
That is what we cannot help but feel
She loves the colour white
I feel black is might
Veggies and greens are her dish
I would much rather a grilled fish
She silently grumbles but waits
I always try but reach late
Her role demand she dress
To look prim and proper and fresh
I dress savvy and smart
Because that is my part
She excels on every front
But gets affected by media stunts
I for this find hardly time and thought
As I am busy on the field to not get caught
She toils at home and work
Her duty performs and never shirks
I work tirelessly right
But also manage to party at night
She rises with the sun
For me that does not spell fun
We share nothing so to say
Except time which is night and day
Shoot reshoot take retake
That is what we together make
Professionally united while taking our cues
In real life having different views
We both appear in film and frame
There ends all that is common and same
Like two sailing ships alongside we glide
On a chummy wave called friendship we both ride
There is one thing I will bare
If I am wronged she does care
And just try faulting her- I dare
Remember I am very much there
In between she reads her script and books
While I chirp and joke and my one liners shoot
Principally because of her on the sets
Thankfully I smoke less cigarettes
We have defied all trends
