RES... to family- the ones we have, the ones form and the ones we never knew we needed- and the power of a few simple words.
----EDIT---
G, what a beautiful, realistic episode we had today- and you captured the essence of it in your post and collage. Special thanks for the Romi -Adhi collage.
Romi reminds me of my brother... maybe that's why I have such a soft spot for him , I don't know but I really loved that scene. I feel like it's the first time I've seen Adhi so joyously and spontaneously hug someone over something that wasn't a material gift... it was nice.😃 yes the scene was so simple yet so beautiful. A guy who has been ostracized from his family because of his kaand..recognized the loneliness in his little nephew...and just gave him a sense of belonging by bringing back a piece of his happy childhood memory...and that hug just made me so emotional ..because as a mother both Romi's and Adi's loneliness kinda gets to me...and brings out my maternal instinct where you just want to give them a bear hug and say..."you are not alone".
The whole episode was fantastic, vintage YHM now with the warmth of love that surrounds every ISHRA moment... loved it.
Mihir's scene was short but really nice- that hug... looks like RKB is getting a longer hold from Mihir than Ishu these days... 😉 LOL Anu so right!! #enough wuth bromance give us some real #Romance 😉 and I loved the childlike glee Mihir showed for this opportunity, and KP played Raman's struggle in the realization to perfection. And while waiting for Rinki's verdict- the switching between joy, and hesitancy... so well done by KP. 👏👏👏 Karan has been absolutely brilliant ever since we have seen the re-emergence of RKB...probably these myriad emotional scenes gives him that creative satisfaction than playing one dimensional emotional scenes.
Loved the conversation between Ishu and Rinki.. definitely not preachy - from my experience this is simply how these conversations go and I think it was very well played. Seeing that scene , despite her own misgivings, I honestly felt like Ishu approached it similar to how she might approach Miku in the same situation. Very practical- understanding and acknowledging the validity of Rinki's fears while using her own experience (which everyone knows was much more complex) as a point of comparison was definitely the way to go. I heard lot of people felt it was preachy..not to me...it was an honest sharing to just make her not rule out marriage for the heck of it. I liked it
It's interesting that it's Ishu that was chosen guide Rinki in this issue, and not Simmi... really rather reminds me of the Ishu/Vandhu/Miku set up in the different things we turn to in different people. I know that Ishu's career and station in life is a part of it, but I also feel like their personalities and outlook on life have to do with it as well. I also feel Rinki has a lot of respect for Ishita ...maybe looks upto her as a role model...and so they felt she'd pay more attention to her than Simmi. The other thing I loved about the talk was the way that Ishu seemed to lose herself a bit when she started reminiscing about her own marriage.. so sweet. 😊 Again a reminder of how far they've come, as well it gave the viewers a glimpse into Ishu's rarely discussed past which was also rather nice.
And for the first time in a long time I actually enjoyed seeing Shagun on my screen, the scene with her friends was so good. Ofcourse her friends are just like her and I love how they gave her the kind of digs that she gives everyone else...lol I wrote in reply to someone...that this Shagun I can tolerate as she's just one shallow individual who's just wasting her life away trying to project an image of perfection which truly is lacking from inside. and one jab, brings out the insecurity of losing her 'social' life which is all she has worked hard for.
...it's lovely to see her get some of her own medicine. And the way she floundered around... perfect. As the the saying goes, with friends like this who needs enemies?🤣
Shagun girl listen to what you friends are telling you.
#Time to find a sugar daddy #Set your targets at Suraj#If not him how about Raman's MD #he meets all your requirements too #Think about it#Secure your future #Your present isn't going to get any better #Ishu won't bankroll your sarees #Unless you want to take some of hers #No barely covering the essentials blouses in her collection though You girls have the best insults for Shagun...it always cracks me up. The creative insults we hurl her way🤣
As for ISHRA and Romi-Adhi scenes you all have certainly said it better then me. I do have to say how glad I am am to see the real Ishita back... this was the understanding Ishita that was missing during that Mani track...I really hope she remains on our screen, especially during the testing times to come.
Petty thought of the day:
How come Shagun has female friends and Ishita doesn't?
#Not fair #Ishu needs a friend #Ishu needs a female BFF#Not on that'll be after RKB #Ishu needs her 'person' #Find a friend for Ishu CVs #Don't need to look far #I nominate Simmi #They balance each other out #Plus it helps my Simmi-Abhi cause 😳 Simmi and Ishita have warmed up so much...yes they can make perfect 'person' ...yes Mani is tall too...and comes with his own sets of kids..so will make a good balance for their combined children.
#53 regular episodes since Shagun re-entered Bhalla house #Thought Romi was her end game #Looks like it's Rinki #Unless she has something on Simmi #Atleast that might bring Param back #YHM's one true villlan #But Still, down with Shagun # Speak up Romi #One truth and the whole game will change #Can't hardly wait

EDITED:
The episode placed so close to reality.
Adi is slowly making me fade away all the sour taste I had in my mouth for him.The kid is acting now maturely and it gives me pain to watch a kid who showered his unconditional love for his selfish mom is being treated so badly .Shagun...I don't know why, whenever I take her name it make me cringe. How could a mother be so selfish ..that her designer saris gets priority than her son's studies?😡But the best part is that, Adi is getting to see the selfish side of his dearest mom.I always felt that when Shagun will face some tight financial condition she will do blunders and that may lead to Adi's realization about his mom. And now Adi will witness the stark difference of two mothers...Shagun and his step mom Ishita. And it will ultimately facilitate the path towards Adi's Bhallafication. Is Shagun even realizing what she is doing? She is in the threshold of loosing another child. I think her children don't matter to her so much .. The only thing she cares about is her image .. Ruhi saw through her artificiality because she grew up in a nurturing environment ... Adi's childhood memories got hidden behind Shagun constant manipulation against the Bhallas... Now they are coming back as he can witness the good in front of his eyes ... And is noticing his mother's narcissism .. It's about time Shagun realizes motherhood entails more than just delivering a child
The way Ishita made Rinki realize that even after marriage she can pursue studies and make a career..was so close to reality.I loved this Bhabhi-nanad wala scene.I loved it even more bcoz the way Ishita explained the dynamics of her and Raman's relationship...she was saying it with a happy wala tone and sounded so content with the marriage.😃 It sounded like she was narrating a fairy tale marriage between couples so different in nature but still bonded by immense love, trust and respect.
And then...Raman's confiding in Ishita and making her know about the the dark phase which he is facing. It amazed me how Ishita instantly joined the dots and understood that Raman was talking about his problem And her dialogue.."chod do Raman"..WOW!!The woman doesn't want her PRIDE..her MAN to bow down before any insult. She has seen him always walking in dignity and honor ,so there should not be any difference now.If anyone knows that someone is there to support in tough times then it becomes so easy to come out of any odds in life.
And hope Mihir finds out the truth and does something in this matter.I want the boss come begging to Raman and say he was wrong.Lastly I loved..loved..loved how Shagun's friend insulted her..kya dhoya hain usko.😆

Brilliant write-up and beautiful Collages Gan!
For Raman-Ishita:
"Sometimes, reaching out and taking someone's hand is the beginning of a journey.
At other times, it is allowing another to take yours."
Vera Nazarian, The Perpetual Calendar of Inspiration
The Ishra scene today took me back to the episode where Raman asks Ishita for her hand- asking her to stand by him in all the challenges of life. Today again he asked for her hand, albeit to assure himself that she is there, like always, by his side. How quickly she understood that her husband was talking to her about his own problem in a round-about way. Loved the confidence she has in him- Comapany apse hai, aap company se nahi. Words so true for a self-made man like Raman. He has done it once, he can do it again. it will be tough- but when you have the right partner and a strong backbone (read-family), it is posible. A very normal conversation between a husband and wife with no out-of-place feel about it. Something that I wanted to see ever since Raman's office problems started- Puttar-Biwi staying strong and together overcoming all of their problems. I look forward to see how this track unfolds.
The Rinky-Ishita scene: It was very very realistic. I am not joking when I say that I have had a very similar conversation with my aunt some time back (though it was a hypothetical one). In a nutshell, she said to me- "When you have the right partner supporting you, you can achieve anything. If he is not right- just refuse- No one is forcing you". Though I do not like Toshi being so rushed about it- I found nothing wrong about how Ishita handled the whole situation- where her MIL insisted that she be the one to talk to Rinky. She just convinced in a very nice way to meet the guy- not marry the guy; and therein lies the difference.
For Romi and Adi:
"My dear young cousin, if there's one thing I've learned over the eons, it's that you can't give up on your family, no matter how tempting they make it."
"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike."
Once again- Felt bad for the kid. Why do I have feeling that he is again going to cover up for his mom? Tell Ishita that he lost the money Raman gave or something when he talks to her about the fees (Speculation, I know, but""). Romi- Karma is really a bitch. He is paying for his past misdeeds. But nothing has affected him more than the neglect and indifference from his family. He is in pain, and I am hoping that this leads to his redemption- A Final true one.
I think everyone here has echoed this sentiment innumerable times- What sort of a mother is Shagun? Who prefers to pay for designer saris rather than your son's fees? Hell, who am I expecting from- She gave Adi's fees money to Param at one point to pay Bhalla house rent. Pathetic really- Her friends are just like her- Brainless with too much money. I am hoping that Adi tells Shagun about Raman' financial situation- Tab aayega mazza. I can bear her for 2-3 mins on my screen- not when she is hogging 80% of the epi.
