"They sat on a park bench, held hands, and told each other their stories hour after hour. They were not lonely anymore. They had found and been found by their 100% perfect other. What a wonderful thing it is to find and be found by your 100% perfect other. It's a miracle, a cosmic miracle."
" Haruki Murakami
This is the quote that came to mind while watching today's episode. As Ishita spoke of her bond with her husband, and RKB sought out his wife in a moment of uncertainty, I couldn't help but be content at the fact that despite all odds, and quite unexpectedly, by some divine intervention, these two found each other.

That 1st edit is magical, Gan. You know I'm a sucker for your B&W edits 😳
The quote is pure perfection. Just random thoughts from me today. I loved the episode so much...it reminded me of the episodes surrounding Mihir-Mihika's engagement.

Raman's support of Mihir then echoed in his stepping aside for his friend-brother today, vowing not to come in the way of his success. I love this relationship they share. Both would give and do anything for each other. Such friendships...relationships, are very rare. A relationship in which you are truly invested in someone without asking for anything in return. Its no secret that Mihir wouldn't have accepted the job had he known it was taken from Raman and given to him...as for RKB, he's been known to make sacrifices for the ones he loves...I'd like to believe it's more than just a sacrifice in this case though. RKB knows Mihir deserves this, and is capable, what it could mean for his little brother's career. He once gave up his presidency for Ishita. Mihir is no less. He'd hand the company over without a second thought if need-be. That's just the stuff he's made of. The stuff of a man you can't help but respect. Love these two in their poignant moments. A little brother overjoyed at the success only his older brother could have made possible...and an older brother stepping aside to allow his little brother to shine, all the while standing as a strong pillar of support. Love It.

Is it just me or is Ishita unbelievably beautiful when she speaks of her love for & relationship with her husband? I know some may have thought her monologue to be a little on the 'lecture' side today, but for me, every bit of it was a beautiful realization. It reminded me of the time she was talking to Mihika on the balcony when she was first beginning to realize that just maybe she's in love with her husband. How beautiful the journey between then and now has been. Then, the idea of his being her husband - apart from her daughter's papa - was almost a foreign thought. Now, he's her husband first, and Ruhi's papa after. How true what she said - that you don't know what you've been missing until that very thing comes into your life and shakes up your perceived balance and contentedness. We can't appreciate the beauty of something if we've never experienced it. Never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined this life...this level of contentedness as she has found with him. She still spoke of Ruhi as being the missing link in her life, but Ruhi gave her something she never dreamt of, never bargained for - this relationship she now shares with a man who exceeded all her expectations. I love the certainty with which she speaks of the strength of their bond - one which has been cultivated in the purest of ways...through their growing support and understanding of one another over all these weeks, months. There once was a time when she wasn't sure if she'd ever be able to make a place for herself in his heart...but today, she's completely confident in the same...she's finally realized her ability to love and be loved...and I think it's beautiful.

RKB surely is a different man, isn't he? The RKB of a few months ago would never have burdened someone else with his worries. He's always been the one to shoulder the burden on his own...not knowing what it's like to have someone there who would actually want to share the burden with you. Of late however, he's realized what it's like to have a companion who will gladly help you carry the weight of life. The RKB of a few months ago would have spent sleepless nights over this and then "handled" it on his own; he would have tried to fix the problem before his family realized that there was a problem at all. This RKB however, actually sought out his wife today...seeking her reassuring guidance and support. I've said it before, I know, but how wonderful it must be for him to finally have someone to turn to in moments like this. There's a quote: There must be those among who we can sit down and weep, and still be counted as warriors. I think this is what Ishita is for RKB. He can fall apart before her - completely unravel, and she'll still be his pillar, a source of encouragement who, through her faith in him, will restore his faith in himself.
I know I sound like a broken record when I say that the level of understanding that these two share baffles me, but it does. Loved the conversation...her ability to read right through him, his inability to hide his insecurities from her, and then realizing he doesn't need to, because she'll stand with him no matter the storm they face.
The moment he sought her hand...that comforting, reassuring touch. I can't even...your quote above says it all.

ADI...mere jigar ka tukda. ❤️
I know I've previously claimed that Shagun does in fact love her son, but her actions of late are making me question the same. My heart goes out to this little boy who's mom is too self-centered to care for him.
I am so thankful for this track, and everything leading up to it (yes, even the unrealistic nonsense at times) because my Adi will finally get he love and family he's been missing out on all these years. Loved the moment between Adi and his Chachu today. My heart goes out to Romi as it does to Adi - they've both been influenced by and fallen victim to Shagun's misdeeds. At such a time, if Adi and his Chachu can find a bit of solace in each other, then why not? I look forward to seeing what's to come with Adi...I'm so hopeful that things will finally change for the better for this misguided child. Going by his change in demeanor in yesterday's episode, I think it's safe to say that with Ishita's influence, things will turn around sooner than later. Finally.
