Love and completely agree with you with regard to your take on ishita. I can see things from her point of view and agree with her and also appreciate the goodness of her heart. Thinking on these lines, I can't bear ishra being hurt and so sincerely hope there will be no separation.
your posts and collages are so good

@bold I hope so too.. But more importantly I hope that is broken before the Cvs stretch it beyond the breaking point of a character's redeemable chances.. With Adi they are standing at the threshold. The CVs need to be careful there.
To tell you the truth I donr mind separation as how far will she go really ? Next door. I don't want their separation .. But if anyone in the bhalla family insults her again for 'hurting poor Adi' .. I want as a woman for ishita to hold her head with dignity and leave on her own and only come back when they come and beg her for her forgiveness. lets watch and see how the cvs take this one to.
Thank you

She's is a walking example of narcissistic sociopath herself. Good for Ruhi that she doesn't buy Adi or Shagun's antics and knows the face Shagun projects is a phony one.

I know that's why I have felt bad for Adi as he never got a chance to experience goodness in people.. All he's been experiencing is us mother's venom. But the empathy we've have for adi's situation is wearing thin by the way the cvs are making him exhibit this cold, conniving person matured beyond his age to play mind games with adults... That's a stretch ..even for a confused, insecure tween... I truly hope the Cvs are careful about this.. There's always a point of no redemption .. Aditya's character is standing at the threshold of that...

ruhi is truly Raman Bhalla's daughter all the way.. Even about her instincts about right and wrong .

CVs have really brought out a nayi soch which is actually cringe worthy and makes me flinch from inside. Adi making plots to demean and hurt Ishita, to make her cry and also assuring Shagun that he would make Ishita go from the family has made him a criminal mind who has started traits of a psychopath.
His evil smile seeing Ishita cry has made him a sadist. His pretending to be good and nice to all including Ishita before everyone and then doing the opposite in private has made him a fraud.
His blind belief and becoming a puppet in his mother's hands has made him a fool.

So there is very little in him to be called a kid anymore.

CVs have totally butchered a kid's innocence. I really wish they tone this down.

So agree with what you expressed here .. Especially the part in bold. What shocked me today was the utter coldness with which he said those spiteful words and the look of satisfaction in his demeanor on seeing Ishita's reaction. That was harsh ! Beyond a tween's maturity especially when they showed he hatched this on his own.

Another perception which I know from experience is Adi's bonding with Shagun. Shagun is an insult to motherhood and in fact to womanhood also. She uses and manipulates her son's blind love for her.
For Adi, his mother is the ultimate truth. Whatever she says, be it good or bad, is the truth for him. Actually, thats every child's trait. A child understands and knows the rest of the world through his mother.
Here Adi too never judges or tries to analyze what his mother does. Whatever she says is right for him and the rest of the world which causes distress to his mother is evil and wicked.

Once he comes out of the little bubble that his mother weaves around him, he will be able to see the goodness around. I really wish CVs use Shagun being away and steer the story towards that direction rather than adding more evilness into the child. Atleast give the child to rise from the ruins.

That was my hope with this track that we'll get to see the healing of Adi and his return to mainstream because of the help he'd receive from the Bhallas and ishita ..but the cvs are pushing a lot of stuff to create drama.. But they need to be cognizant of the fact that a 12 year old cannot act like a conniving adult.. His antics have to be more age appropriate .. Playing mind games is very adult behavior even for fictional characters

Coming to Ishita's tears, yes it was indeed cruel of Mihika and Adi. Whatever lectures, mahaanta she does, she didnt deserve to get this. Mihika is like out of focus for me. I dont even understand her anymore. and Adi, he forgets that he is still a kid most of the times, I guess.

Raman-Ishita scene were really heart touching. Raman hoping that Adi will call him papa was really emotional moment. Awesomely played by KP...and as his comforting wife DT was perfect.

It's scenes like these that makes me have faith in the Cvs.. This is the other side of the spectrum when it comes to writing .. Which keeps me hooked to this serial. And then KP and DT make those scenes feel real by the sheer natural feel in thieir portrayal

Yes she is OTT with her mahaanta and goodness but seriously she doesn't deserve this type of punishment for that. To hear from her husband or her in-laws that she needs to tone it down is both okay and necessary but to hear those vicious words from a child is something entirely different. I do wish she had become smarter after seeing the complete 180 degree turn in Adi's behavior towards her, but going by the precap and spoilers I don't see it happening. Going off to bed now, catch you later. Some serious writing interspersed with nonsensical drama is making these episodes slightly bearable otherwise I was about to quit after that horrific AsMi dance (if it can be classified as such lol).

@ bold Exactly my reason for still sticking to the serial . And yes to ishita getting back to her smarter avatar .. I can't watch her getting outsmarted by a 12 year old .. 🤢

coming to Raman's hope of being called as papa by raman...i am damn sure that one day ishu will make adi to call raman as papa...in true sense ishu will be mother of his kids shagun have just gave them birth but ishu will make him father...

even i felt bad for ishu...though she did her JM act was totally disgusting but she dont deserve this treatment from kid whom she feels as her own...

l
I'm glad to see so many people in this thread empathize with Ishita's heartbreak in the episode.. Frankly I was not expecting as in the forum I read such negative comments about Ishita.. thank you guys for giving me this confidence that we women still can be nice to another woman especially on such days where her motherhood was insulted .

@bold yes that would be quite some day isn't it.. Raman already sees her in that light .. And his words in the episode reflected that.. She essentially had made him come out of his wall and embrace being Ruhi's papa.. And one day soon it would be Adi doing it the other way round.. Embrace Rman as his Papa.. In both situations it's Ishita who made and will make it possible. .

I don't find Ishita's overdose of selflessness or JM mode as disgusting really .. Yes I get irritated when it borders on gullible and impractical especially for a smart educated career woman like her... But I never feel it's disgusting 😆

I really wanted the writers to explore Ishita's struggle with infertility and Raman's interaction with her during the said struggle. I hope the makers do full justice to this emotion of Ishita's or I would rather have them leave it alone if they are going to pull the same crap as they did with the Mani track. Anywho I take 2 hours break on Saturday so I will come and update this post with my 2 cents even if it's not needed. 🤣

Missus' agony made me tear up or may be it was Neurology or NeNe's FF, either way I type this with moist eyes and a pint of ice cream in my hand.

*Way too many feels*

Aww I miss you and your feels.. And magical hue ... As you know how lost I get when things get too emotional 😳

@bold honestly Doc??!!

You better make it up on Saturday for making me upset

Hey Gan,

loved the pics collages, I felt the episode was well balanced and I'm there with u supporting and feeling bad for Ishu. I hve watched the episodes 3 times, nd every time afterrr watching the last 5-6 min, and the precap, I had tearrs in my eyes, I really felt very bad after seeing her cry in the precap, whtever she said was very, for the world she will always be the step mom, that's the tag she will carry forever...hope Adi soon comes to know that whom he is calling wicked witch is in fact so much much better than his mom, and I really would like a scene where Adi says this in front of the whole world, acknowledging his step mom shld have been his mom, that will be the greatest gift to Ishu.

OK enough said, I also loved Ishu's reply to Mihika...

waiting to see where this will lead nd the drama that is to follow, Adi hospitalistion, Puttar bowing down in front of lambu

Thank you !
@ bold that would be the day I forgive Adi for his very un-12 year old acts.

Just be patient I believe in Raman to fix the situation once he gets the full picture.. He's no longer that dad who would do anything to appease his first born. I can be wrong but it's my gut feeling

Love your post, Gan, as always :)
same here :(

about Adi... i go with the second option!
Claim me mean and what not but im sorry, insecure? troubled? Confused -yes, but he is so not innocent, sorry. Maybe it IS because of the divorce and troubles... but HELLO!? he is super criminal minded and as you said an evil spawn of his mom, TOO GOOD at playing saas-bahu games and thing is ishita will be bashed more, but she has NOTHING to do? this is a show, will she really go and tell raman stuff about adi!? also, does she even UNDERSTAND what adi is up to? he actually spilled all the beans, the whole plan, she has to KNOW SHAGUN IS HERE WITH A MOTIVE, and i will be so annoyed if Ishita turns a blind eye to him and still care for shagun instead of BEING CAREFUL of shagun! 🤔

Adi... see im not married, im not a mom... but Adi's character is just, i dont understand it, they should have worked better and to further spoil, that brat of a kid is a super bad actor, so na actor acha na character, i dont know which trait to relate to. He is so far from reality he should have instead been the cup chaap dara sehma baccha... anyways, i dont know if i will ever be able to sympathize with this kid and his wicked mom 🤔
I know and agree that its because of the troubles and how his mom fills his ears, poor thing loves his mom too much... but i dont know he has just never affected me like ive never FELT FELT for him :|... i know that he is going to change soon, he already realised the goodness of ishita but i want tables to turn while shagun is away

sorry if i dont make sense in a hurry.

Excellent question. The last 2 episodes made me understand one thing. The CVs are taking subtlety too seriously. If one forgets the dialogues and the actors portraying the characters and focus only on the story, we'll understand what the writers are getting at. Aditya was a spoilt brat who was led to believe his father left his mother and him and Ashok was their saviour. Thus, his hatred for his father due to his longing to be with him. And now he wants his parents to get back to his mother for her because she claims to still be in love with Raman. She told her own twisted version of what happened. You can see the conflict between his sense that says Ishita is a nice person and trust in his mother. If left to him, Adi would have easily accepted Ishita in his father's life. I think you know this already. Unfortunately, this became clear to me only recently. The writers are making things complicated. I don't remember struggling so much to understand the plot of this show before.
Same thing with Ishita. Half the blame lies in Divyanka's acting too. When Raman pointed out Ishita's mistake to her the day before, no where did I feel that she realised her mistake. It looked more like she was humouring him and indirectly the viewers too because Raman was speaking for us. But, when I ignored all that, I realised the writers were trying to show Ishita as this pure hearted, simple, innocent soul who believes in the good of everyone. In wanting to show that, they have gone overboard thereby leaving us with the "Mahaan" Ishita. Due to the contrast she provides with Shagun, they put her on a pedestal and that somehow made her subconsciously believe she is right about everything.
