What is exactly Aditya's character sketch? Is he a troubled, insecure 12 year old confused by all he's been through since his parents' divorce and a planned alienation from his father's side of the family orchestrated by his mom and her boyfriend? Or he's a cold criminal minded evil spawn of his Mom who seems to be one who is pretty adept to playing mind games of the saas-bahu types.

Haven't watched the episode yet but reading the WU..this thought came in my mind. What do you guys think?

~Edited

Of all the bashing poor Ishita gets in this forum...I never felt so bad for her like I did today. Though I had read the WU before but still the rawness of her hurt when Adi uttered those words so coldly...just made me feel really bad for her. She might go overboard with Mahanta, and we may differ in how we feel about it...but no one can deny she does it from the sheer goodness of her heart and she's been going out of her way to make Adi comfortable and happy...and for her to hear Raman's son that she's an evil witch who stole the happiness of their happy family.. That was hurtful, to put it mildly. I also hated Mihika's words to her...maybe she was trying to make Ishita hate her but even then those words were cruel. And I'm glad that Ishita told her exactly what Mihika's 'sacrifice' did to Ishita ..she's indeed cleaning the mess Mihika has made by marrying Ashok.

I know I might be drawing flak from a lot for supporting Ishita but as a woman I couldn't but feel for her.

Raman's smile and his hope that soon he'd be hearing his son call him Papa...just touched my heart...For a guy who for last 6 years haven't received anything but disrespect from his son...to have that sliver of hope of acceptance again from his first born ... and in his heart acknowledging the effort of the woman who has made it possible..It was a little touching scene...and have more resounding significance as very soon his trust and love will go through its biggest trial and tribulation.

Loved the episode for the emotional depth in the writing. An episode of hope and heartbreak. Hope of one desperate to be accepted by his firstborn as a father and hearbreak of a mother when she was labeled as an ' evil step-mother'.

Made this one for Raman's unshed tears of hope .. That got to me.

He is shagun's xerox. Through and through he is shagun's son. NO confused insecure emotionally weak kid has it in him/her to play MIND games.
Sorry cvs. You guys need to clean this mess ASAP or the show is going down.

This is outrageous.

My ONLY hope is Gautam's school. Hope it reopens soon and he goes back. Cannot tolerate that kid anymore. (The character)

I feltbad today when ishita lost it and cried. Few people got kicks out of the fact that she got hurt. Its sad to see people not understanding that she is an amazing person and doesnt deserve this. Yes she is stupid. Yea ahe is a jagat mata but she is a nice person.

Shagun aur adi ko koi bhagao yaar. More drama coming up.

Its gone from crap crappier crappiest to crapfest. Sone surgery drama of adi's. Wonder what that is for? Raman's guilt? Ishita's guilt ? Blaming ishita for not taking good care of adi, making assoak do better things than lusting mihika, bhalla family crying for adi, or a choice between ishita's innocencw and aditya's drama for raman?

Cant take all this anymore. I read WUs too and then watch the epi.

PS: LOVED your last collage. Their hug and especially karan's edit :")

Oohh boy!!! you just opened a brand new can of worms there by asking that kostin!!! Will wait for your post before I update..

Updated:

Thought I would wait till I read your take after watching the episode.. but then I just couldnt .. needed to get it out of my system..

The things I liked first: Vandu, Ishu, Mihika convo. Whatever Mihika said was meant to make Ishita hate her more.. but then what she said was true.. and what Ishita told Mihika was also true.. Ishita IS cleaning up after Mihika's mess. And she needed to hear it. I dont like Mihika's thinking that she is mahaan.. because being stupidly mahaan is one thing and being maha stupid is another.. and she unfortunately chose the second option.

I liked Raman, Adi and sr. Bhalla automobile workshop. Raman was waiting to do boy-stuff with Adi and his pleasure was evident.

Simi wanting to move on and divorce Param.. that was a good decision and Raman supporting it telling Mrs. Bhalla to tone it down was also good. And clean shaven Raman looked mm.. mm good

Now coming to lousy part.. Adi. Adi is as confused as the cvs are. Cvs dont know which slot to peg him in and the track that they are taking.. the path leading to a 12 year old hinting in private to his stepmom what he really thinks about her and then donning another face in front of the family to make them support him in the end.. of bodily harming himself so that he can get his stepmom out and his mom in.. its all sounds of eerily sinister motives.. and the kids' bad acting makes it all the worse. 😕
I dont think much about Anita's acting skills either.. and the actor playing Adi is very much at par with her. He has a very monotonous expression.

Kids can do stuff to get in the good books of their elders to please them, and given that Adi is a psychological wreck and with a manipulative mother he can be made to do stuff.. but him willing to harm himself so that his mom can be happy makes it a more cold blooded and chilling.. Someone who can harm himself can easily harm others too. And thats a very thin line that the cvs are treading on.

Adi's action as a disturbed and nervous and insecure kid was something that I could digest but I can't stand a 12 year old devil in the making.. That is bad.

I know Mrs. Bhalla's Adi jaap is pretty annoying but I also know for a fact that it does happen in many homes - how son's are idolized and how their every fault is covered up, and Mrs. Bhalla is doing exactly that. She did it with Romi.. she is now doing it with Adi.

I really felt for Ishita today.. Divz acting when she realizes Adi's words.. the feeling of hurt and pain was very well enacted..

Dont know what the direction the story will take.. do they want to rehabilitate Adi, or make Adi successful in his plan of driving Ishita away.. is there going to be more drama.. all remains to be seen.

So I guess for me, you could add "Disgusted", "Irritated" "Abhorred" to the words below. .I am waiting for this track to end.. have had enough of the mom-son duo.

Kids are very impressionable. It is as much a truth as much it sounds unrealistic. I have for myself seen such things happening. One of the parent poisoning the child's mind against the other parent so much such that the child becomes anti of that parent. He ceases to see the love. All that he sees n believes is what he is told. Sad but true.

I agree with what you said..that was my take on Adi was until the pre-cap yesterday...For a 12 year old to conceive independently how to put into action what his Mom told him to do, play mind games...and carry it on without a glitch...that's kinda too sinister a thinking for a 12 year old..I can believe a 12 year old troubled kid hurting himself and accusing his father's new wife for it...but 'mind games' that takes matured thinking..Adi doesn't seem that sharp to hatch these kind of thinking. I have been really bothered by this since yesterday's Precap. I was expecting Shagun remotely driving it...but seems like he's doing it entirely on his own,

Oh he reminds me of an episode of Criminals Mind where child almost same age as Adi kills his younger brother. Parents were protecting him but at the end they realise that their son was born psychopath and needed help.
