Ahh the kostin.
It's harder than understanding thermonuclear physics ATM.
Paru and I were discussing it the other day and we have the following opinions:
- the CVs began writing a confused and insecure kid, needed a "saas" in the show when they realized that Suraj was not going to suffice and Toshi was majorly nice (a hypocrite) and thus had to make do with this kid.
- the kid's expressions were so confusing that the CVs in turn became confused about WHERE this character was heading. (I chose the vice versa - the kid is confused as to what character he supposedly is)
They have of course made some serious blunders as far as the character goes - from the accident track itself. No kid from divorced parents is psychotic or has this level of manipulation going on in his head. Two things abhorred me - he could land HIMSELF into surgery to bring down his step mother and fulfill his mother's ambitions and the fact that he could himself just play mind games. It would have been A LITTLE ACCEPTABLE if he showed even a little remorse, but I not seen any guilt for any of the number of crimes he's committed. That is what makes it even harder to digest.

Lol. I was surprised to see loads of people being really happy about the pain she's going through. Really? She's a good person, nahi? With her heart at the right place. She may be a lot of things - stupid of the highest order including - but she's been a good mother throughout. The only thing consistent so far IMO. So she should get flake for being whatever - but not a mother. And I guess it hit her where it hurt. DT's expressions were nice - heart broken with a touch of serenity.
Meh. About Raman's constant harp - I don't know - it's foreboding, I suppose. Ishita just says thank you when he does something - for helping Amma after the accident, for keeping her busy during the license track, for the Chitti track. Raman had been the more 'keeps his emotions to himself" guy in the first half of the show - hid behind his hard demeanor, so I suppose, he's probably compensating 🤣 I do think he should tone it down a little - we all know the things she's done - no need to reiterate it in every episode.
Although, it could be to sorta juxtapose the two scenes - being called the writer of all good things in his life and then being called the wicked witch who stole the happiness of a family.
If they don't end this crap ASAP, well...
