--- EDIT---
Excellent quotes, collages and especially discussion of the episode G!
And Doc- Loved the classic quote and your dissection of the ISHRA scenes, you explained better then me why I loved that silent drive so much...😆 We actually seem to have very similar tastes I notice.😃
This was a wonderful episode all around really. To be honest I didn't really expect more from ISHRA romance then what was in the preview so I was pleasantly surprised by all the lead up to it. And even having seen the preview that scene was simply divine; love, hate, indifference, tolerance- no matter what emotion they've had to portray since the show started- KP & DT just get ISHRA and their chemistry is off the charts so much so that we can never look away!😊
I loved Raman's nervousness, his behavior up to the rescue of Shagun was so sweet it just made me fall in fall with him all over again. The excitement, the nerves, the hopefulness, the irritation, the flirting, his awe of Ishu- honestly it was like watching a man fall in love for the first time, not a once married father of two. As well, we usually get such scenes from the POV of the female lead and it was quite refreshing for me to see the male lead in this state.
The family teasing- especially that last shot where they waved ISHRA off... And the scene in the car with the secret glances and shy smiles, how utterly sweet , realistic and completely teenage love style- gawd these two...I actually think i loved this scene the most in the whole episode.
But from now on Raman should forget 'I ' start start with 'love' during his next almost confession- seems 'I' is the word that triggers interruptions!😉 Also loooved the way he look after Ishu stated they should go get Adhi- it was disappointment , acceptance, respect and admiration all in that shot. I felt like her care for him and their kids just made him fall for her even more in that moment. Brilliantly portrayed by KP as always.
I do hope this turns out to be a Adhi focused track rater then a Shagun one. Especially after Shagun cursed Ashok @ the bar, I really hope they don't go the typical ' Shagun gets selective amnesia and tries to steal back Raman and create MUs between ISHRA rather then destroying Ashok' route that everyone on the forum seems to be thinking it's going... please CVs - surprise us. We, like Ishu, just looove surprises!😆
Shagun's immediate reaction to turn to the bottle for comfort struck me for two reasons. Firstly, it worked terrifically with Raman's offhanded comment at the hotel about how if his plan got interrupted again he'd have to drink the bottle in his hands and secondly it reminded me of how Raman has the same tendency to turn to alcohol for comfort. Despite that, Raman has always made it an effort to take care of his own self even when drunk- that's the difference between them.
As well what Raman found what Shagun has not - a partner, family, daughter and extended support system who understand his tendency and do whatever necessary to help and support him through his pain. While Shagun, she has Adhi, a little lost boy who is burdened with much too much responsibility at such a young age.
I also think it is significant that Ishu has a different relationship with alcohol then Raman & Shagun- that's what balances Raman out. The idea there being of opposites attracting and balancing. And maybe that's what Shagun needs- someone that balances her out. And that is not Ashok. I don't know, just a random thought.
Anyway, I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the worst - as per usual. Hope we continue to get some super sweet ISHRA & ISHRARU scenes which will show Adhi the reality about his father, step mother, sister and the family he never knew... before the sword eventually falls again for an ISHRA 'separation'.🤢
Note: There's exactly 48 YHM episodes (6 weeks) until Valentines day/ISHRA anniversary ( yes I counted-😳) at which time I expect we will get the real and true ISHRA confession... can we hang on until then?😉

So relate towhat u said as a mom. I know u are all abt Ishra but todAy maybe we need to pause and think of Shagun as a woman. Feel so pulled and sad for her.
Doc if u could write about her state of mind that would be amazing with Gs collages somehow reading what u ladies have to say makes me process what i feel so much better.
