Ishita took Ruhi's hand and walked back inside leaving a stunned Shagun on the Patio. Before she got into the house she called the gate man and said

'Hey Prakash please walk this woman off my property''

'Ishita Didi are you sure?'' asked a slightly amused Prakash

'Yeah I am sure. Please show her out and do not let her back in till Raman gets back'' Ishita answered.

Shagun was so infuriated by this insolence and just wanted to put Ishita in her place but she knew better than to do that here at Raman's place. She looked at Ishita as she slammed the door in her face and could not believe the audacity of this woman. Shagun did admire her guts though, because not many people had the guts to treat her like the way Ishita just did. There was just one problem for Ishita,

'Oh Ishita, I admire you courage but you will know who I am. You're going to pay for this.'' Shagun said.

She slowly walked off the patio and drove outside the gate where she parked and then took out her mobile phone and dialed

'Hello Bhalla residence how may I help you?'' asked Neelu who was the house caretaker

'Yeah whatever please get Aditya on the phone'' said Shagun

'Ok May I know who I am talking to?'' asked Neelu

' Just tell him it's Mom'' she answered knowing once she used this code name Aditya could understand

Neelu took the phone to Aditya's room and said

'There is a phone call for you from some woman called Mom''

Aditya got excited as he understood that it was his mother and grabbed the phone from Neelu's hand. He was about to answer the call when he remembered Neelu was still in the room

'Neelu you can leave its okay'' he said. Once he was sure Neelu was out and the door was properly looked. He then put the phone to is ears and said

'Mamma ...''

'Aditya honey how are you? Oh my God I have missed you so much.'' Shagun answered

'Your still coming Mamma, Please say you're still coming'' he answered

'Of course I am, in fact I am already here.'' She answered

'What? And no one thought to tell me? Wait let me come down stairs'' he answered with excitement

'Nahi nahi am standing outside your gate. Some woman stopped me from entering. I think she is Raman's new wife.''

'Ishita! Ishita stopped you from coming inside? Why would she do that?'' he asked and Shagun could hear the anger in his voice

'It is okay we are going to teach her a lesson and put her in her place. You love Mamma right?'' Shagun asked

'Of course I do. What do you need me to do?'' and with that a plan was made between mother and son.

After about forty five minutes Raman finally came back and Shagun could not be happier than she was in that moment because she knew it was going to be fun treating that woman a lesson. She got down from her car and walked over to Raman.

As Raman drove up to his house and as he parked he saw Shagun seated in her car and wondered it something had happened. He parked his car and walked out to try and find out if something was wrong.

'Raman, what the hell! Who does that thing think she is?'' said an infuriated Shagun

'Okay can you be a little specific. Am not sure I get what the problem is. What is the matter?'' asked Raman

'I had come here to pick Aditya and that thing stopped me. She said I have no right to be here. Aditya is my son Raman and I can cause hell if I want. She had no right to do that. If you guys are stopping me from seeing my son I will reopen the custody case.'' Shagun Knew what buttons to hit when it came to Raman and also knew what his greatest weaknesses were, losing his children.

'Shagun please calm down. Come one let's get inside and talk about this.'' Said Raman who was looking agitated and angry

Meanwhile Ishita could see what was unfolding as she was standing at the balcony. Ruhi had told her when they got inside that Shagun was her mother and now she could understand why Ruhi may not necessarily fancy her mother.

Shagun looked at him and knew she had him where she wanted. She pretentiously started to cry saying:

' I even tried to talk to Ruhi but she just insulted me calling me names. My own daughter is calling me names. What kind of punishment is this Raman? Aditya cried begging her to let him come with me but she just shouted at him and raised her hand. I did not want her hitting my son so I told her I would go and wait for you here at the gate. Raman please I thought this whole custody fiasco was done and we were going to try and get along with each other for the sake of our children but am not even welcome in your house.'' Shagun said

'What do you mean? What do you mean by that? This doesn't make sense.'' asked Raman a bit confused

'The lady standing at the balcony told me I am not welcome and should not come in. she is the one who stopped Aditya from coming to me. So instead of causing a scene I stayed here such that in case there is something I have done we can sort it out.'' She answered

'Ishita tried to hit Aditya?'' and infuriated Raman asked

'Ishita, your wife? Why would she have a problem with me seeing my son? Raman please sort this out?'' she said still crying

Raman was a good man but he had a very bad temper and when it came to his children reason went out the window. He knew better than to believe Shagun because he knew the kind of woman she is. Before he could fathom what was going on he saw Aditya running from the house towards then and hugging his mother tightly

'ADITYA OH MY GOD ARE YOU OKAY? Shagun asked

'Huh Mamma I am fine. Aaahhh do not touch that it hurts'' He answered

'Aditya let me see.'' Raman said

'No it is okay. Just please let me go with Mamma I promise I will be good. Please Paapa'' He said holding Raman's hands in his.

Raman looked at his son who was having this big bruise on his face and all sense of reason went out the window. He was so infuriated and could not understand why Ishita would do something like that.

'Who did this'' He asked

'Nahi its okay ...'' Answered Aditya

'Aditya I hate repeating myself. WHO DID THIS?'' He asked again

'Ishita just wanted to warn me as she did not want to come outside to meet Mamma but it is okay.'' He answered

'Where the hell is was everyone else when all this was going on?'' asked Raman

'Well Dadiji and Dadaji all went to see Mr. Chandra as he is not doing well and Simmi and Romi left a while ago.'' He answered

'Come with me lets go inside.'' He ordered

'Nahi nahi I do not want to go back inside please.'' Said Aditya pretending to be afraid

Raman took his son and walked towards the house with one thing on his mind. I am going to kill this woman today I swear. He barged into the house shouting

'ISHITA RUHI ISHITA WHERE ARE YOU?''

Ishita had seen them coming into the house and sensed that Shagun might not have said the truth and figured she had some explaining to do. She however walked off the balcony before Aditya run out of the house.

'Yeah am here. Let me explain'' but before she could anything she saw the bruise on Aditya's face which shocked her and like an instinct she reached out and touched his face

'Oh My God what happened to you?'' she asked

'DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH MY SON.'' Roared Raman

Ishita had never seen Raman that angry and she could not even understand what the hell was happening

'Who do you think you are? Is this what you usually do when you stay alone with the kids? Tell me?'' asked Raman

'What do you mean by that? Wait! You think I did this? She asked totally shocked

'If you want to hit people pick on those your size and not kids. I should have known you're a bully. After all what does one expect from a person who doesn't understand the pains of having a child. You're a wicked woman you know that'' He said

'Ra ... Raman why would you say something like that to me?'' she asked with tears in her eyes. She turned around and looked at Aditya and said

'Why would you say I did this to you Aditya?''

Aditya looked at Ishita and felt bad but could not do anything as this was a promise he made to his mother, to make the woman who took him away from his mother suffer. He walked over to Raman and stood behind him

'Raman we've been married for over 6 months now. Have you ever seen me even raise my Voice at him or any of your children? Why would you think that I would do something like this''

'How am I supposed to know what you do when I am not here? If I did not get back early may be I would not have seen this. But all the same LET ME WARN YOU. IF YOU TRY TO TOUCH MY CHILDREN AGAIN SO HELP ME GOD I MAKE IT RAIN HELL ON YOU'' He answered

' Paa ... Paapa Ishima did not ...'' as Ruhi was trying to defend Ishita, Raman turned to her and said

'And you since when did you start the habit of calling your mother names? Is that what this one is teaching you? Now, apologize RIGHT NOW.'' He barked

'Na nan ahi I did not call her ...'' Before a petrified Ruhi could complete what she was saying Raman barked again

'RUHI... COME ON APOLOGISE''

Ruhi got scared and run over to Ishita and stood behind Ishita and started stammering

'Ish Ishim Ishiii Ishimmma Ple ple please hel help me'' Ishita felt for her and picked her up and held her in her arms

Raman just got more agitated and charged forward to took screaming Ruhi from Ishita's hands. He handed her over to a shocked Neelu and asked her to take his daughter to her room. He then turned around and told Ishita

'Now apologize to Shagun and my son right now.''

Ishita could not believe that this was happening and wanted to just scream and tell him she had not done anything and was innocent but experience had taught her otherwise so she kept calm and said

'I am sorry Aditya and Shagun for this.'' She then turned around and looked at Shagun and said

'It will NEVER happen again. I promise you that'' she turned around and walked out of the room.

Raman apologized to Aditya and Shagun and told them to just forget about this incident and that he will take care of it. He helped Aditya out with his parking and asked Prakash to help load his bags.

As Aditya walked out of the house he met Simmi at the door way and said his goodbyes to her in a hurry as he ran to his mother who was now waiting in the car.

Simmi looked at Aditya shockingly and asked

'Hey Raman what's up with Adi? Since when did he start wearing makeup?

'Make up? What do you mean? Asked Raman a bit confused

'Well that 'bruise'' on his face is makeup. Pretty good make up actually looks real.'' She answered in an impressed manner. She looked at her brother and said

'Wait he didn't fool you did he?'' asked Simmi

What do you mean?'' Raman asked

' We used to use that all the time especially when you wanted to get out of extra co-curricular classes like sports, my friends would do our make up like that and tell the teachers we had been bullied. Convinced teachers we were traumatized and were stressed. It worked most of the time. Do you know how many times my friends bunked classes?'' She said a bit impressed with herself until she saw the look on her brother's face

'My friends, not me I was good you know. Okay bye now am off.'' She said as she quickly walked out of the room.

To say Raman was shocked would have been an understatement. He felt like someone had sucked the wind out of his lungs and he could not breathe. I could not fathom how Aditya would so easily lie to his face. How could Shagun just do something like that?

'I should have known there was more to this story? How could I have been so stupid? I mean its Shagun I should have known better? And Ishita?'' he remembered this conversation they once had

Flash Back

'My Lawyer thinks I need to have some kind of leverage over you. He thinks you might turn around and bail after getting the 1.5 Million.'' Raman Said as he and Ishita were proceeding to his lawyer's office to sign their marriage contract

'Leverage really? You think I will run even after me showing up at the mandap. You still think I will bail? Don't you think I would have done that already? Besides isn't my father's legacy and respect leverage enough for you'' she asked

When they got to the office there were 3 men all dressed in suits and looking very scary. One of them moved forward and said

'Hey am Kushan Raman's lawyer and these are my associates. They will be here in case we need any more legal assistance. Shall we get down to business?'' he said as he they took their seats

'Now before you sign this let me make one thing clear. Raman is more than a client to me he is like my brother. I had to find some sort of leverage to hold on to incase you do not fulfill your part or decide not cling on after the 3 years.'' Kushan said

'Kushan come one pleas...'' said Raman but he got interrupted

'No let him finish'' Ishita said

'I will tell the world the truth about your true identity. That you are the daughter of the notorious child trafficker Anita Chandra also known as Miss Tee'' he said with a stern face

'Okay so what are you going to do about it? Said Ishita

'I also did some digging and realized you need Raman more than he needs you. The money that kept you orphanage afloat was being used to treat your adopted mother because she is ill and has been for a while. She needs surgery to fix her heart which money you do not have. ' Kushan said

To say Raman was shocked would be an understatement.

'What is he talking about Ishita?'' Raman asked looking extremely shocked

'Now there has been a tweak in the contract. If you fail to fulfil your end of the contract you pay back the 1.5 Million with interest and support to your family will stop. ' Kushan added

'And if Raman fails to fulfil his part?'' she asked curiously

'He pays you the full amount with 100% interest.'' He replied

'Wow Raman your lawyer is ruthless. I will not sign it'' she replied

'See Raman I told you she is a gold-digger. Which respectable woman would agree to this kind of marriage? Kushan said

'Hold on Ishita is it true? Are you the daughter of that woman? Everyone knows her, she was a horrible person. Is she really your mother?'' Raman asked still extremely shocked

'That's why I said I will not sign. Because your lawyer has the facts jumbled up. She was not my mother but rather I was her slave. I was sold to her when I was 9 years old. I lived with her for five years. I got tired of the beating and starving so me and my brother ran away when I turned 14 years.'' She said

Raman looked at her and could feel the pain in her words. She had tears in her eyes and one would only imagine what her life must have been like.

'I would have thought that the problem would have been if I did something to his children or tried to harm them in anyway but you seem to care more about my past than them. I do not interfere in your life so I expect the same courtesy from you Raman. ' she said sounding hurt.

'As a person who has seen the worst in people I guarantee you there will never be anyone more safe than me as far as your kids are concerned because I understand what it means to have a child and not be able to help or save them. My family is my life and if it was not for the Iyers I would have been dead by now. So the only guarantee I am going to give to you is I can never let them down because they are my life. If that isn't enough for you then I guess the deal is off but I will not do anything that would jeopardize my family's wellbeing with this new contract.'' She said as she grabbed her bag and walked out of the room

'You idiot! Do as your told and stop trying to act smart. Even if she would have agreed I would have said no. She is a lot of things, a cheat is not one of them'' and with that Raman followed her calling her name

'Oh my God Raman what have you done. I have to find Ishita and apologize.'' He thought to himself

He walked back to the bedroom but when he got there he could not see her. Oh my God has she left?

'Ishita you can't leave please. ISHITAAA'' He called out her name hoping she would respond but to no avail.
