Nope. Thank YOU for this space and your work & words every day.

Raman has been dealing with his problems alone for so long, that he doesn't quite believe that he actually has someone to share them with now.
His guilt over his son's actions is understandable, but he forgets that Adi is her son too. She once told him that Adi is as much her responsibility as he is his. Did he not quite believe that just maybe, she was not saying that just to say it? That she actually meant those words?
How heartbreaking, that this man has been shouldering all his sorrows and anguish alone all these years; blaming himself for the mess he's made of his children's lives...his family. How overwhelming it must be for him to know that now, and forever, he has her by his side and that he no longer has to face it all alone. today Karan's restrained acting just touched my heart...so much was expressed in his eyes with no glycerine...just with pure emotions expressed in them...(disclaimer: this is not puttar fangirling that you guys do...this is unadulterated sau pratishad shudh KP fanwoman talk😉😆)
I know exactly what you're talking about - if I could take a still of the exact moment you speak of and post it here for you, I would. The way he looked at her when Toshiji was trying to strike a deal with the inspector...it touched my heart too. An actor that can emote solely with his eyes. Commendable.
(I'll let you in on a secret - this may be hard for you to believe: I'm more of a "KP fanwoman" as you put it, than I am a RKB fangirl...but, like you, I'm also very restrained when I speak of KP. It's okay to fall into fangirl mode over a fictional character, but when it comes to KP himself, nothing but utmost respect for the man.)
[Side Note: He's got to be flummoxed by this woman's ability to give and forgive. Her love is so deep and all-encompassing. It's awe-inspiring.]
It's like Ishita said to Mani today - they are married! On that day, merely 8 months ago, their lives intertwined forever. From that moment on, what's his is hers, the good and the bad...and vice versa.
Yesterday was all about silent confessions of love. Today, we were reminded that love is not enough to sustain a relationship. There has to be a mutual and shared responsibility...towards each other, and the life you are trying to build together. So true! Now Raman needs to get into the program of this 'ours'..he I believe still feels guilty ...
I don't think he'll truly be able to until he lays his guilt to rest...and I think she herself will have to cajole him to truly believe that there is no "mine" and "yours" anymore...and also, to make him see his true worth in her life. He, in his own eyes, has fallen short as a husband before...and he's in the same state of mind now...believing he's falling short again - that he's failed her. She's going to have to make him believe otherwise in away only she can.
🤗
Love,
P
