Ahhh my dear romantic cousin, usually I just tell you on our chat how beautiful you write but today i feel like replying here..Seriously that quote is amazing!!! I am going to steal it..And this line "Today, we were reminded that love is not enough to sustain a relationship. There has to be a mutual and shared responsibility...towards each other, and the life you are trying to build together. "So often we hear about people talking about love, there are numerous quotes/books/novels about falling in love, remaining in love..Its everywhere and yet no one understands it. I often think of love as the most overexplored and the least understood emotion? But I think you put it perfectly, love is NEVER enough! Love is a factor yes, but it has to go hand in hand with trust, loyalty, shared responsibility, understanding etc. And that's why I love this show, their relationship was not built on love, it started with shared responisibility which eventually brought in the trust, friendship and understanding. Even without the love, their marriage was more ideal with more depth then Raman and Shagun's marriage. In fact, for Raman and Ishita, the last factor was Love and that just sweetens the "lifelong waali deal" so so much more.Actually a little anecdote that my grandmother once told me a long time ago, that marriages are like boiling water, if you start off with only love as a foundation, then that boiling water will over too fast and you will be left with nothing..However if you start off with mutual understanding, trust and then add love, the boiling water will simmer for a longer amount of time without boiling over.Does that make sense? Sorry she said it in gujarati and this is my best translation.

G! I sound like a broken record everyday when I say that you have an ability to convey the emotional gist of an episode in with just one picture, I do not know how you do it but you amaze me every single day.Thank you CheerLeader#1😳
G I loved today's episode dare I say more than yesterday! The fangirl in me was really happy yesterday but today something just touched my soul. Same here...today they show their love in the context of the bigger picture, family and its the tangled web of complications. the way they looked at each other in the police station and when the smile broke in their faces after the little exchange in the car...my heart just melted. Like you quote aptly puts, it's not going to be easy but travel they must together to solve all the hurdles of their life.
I loved how you referenced to their journey with metaphors of travel and how apt that today we saw them travel together. That mere car ride from the jail cell to THEIR house might be short but the distance travelled by this couple was of eternity. A husband filled with guilt, a wife filled with sorrow at the thought of her husband's guilt and amongst the sorrow and the guilt a marriage blossoms. She says, his life is hers now, he smiles and lowers his gaze in humility, she then proclaims: 'Take me to OUR house'. This was the defining moment of the episode for me. How poetic! Their relationship moved a million miles whilst the car stopped at a red light! Love Love this line!
Tujhko Mujhko Jeevan Amrit,Ab In Haathon Se Peena Hai
Inki Dhadkan Mein Basna Hai,Inki Saanson Mein Jeena Hai
Tu Apni Adaen Baksh InhenMaein Apni Wafaen Deta Hoon
Jo Apne Liye Sochi Thi Kabhi,Woh Saari Duaen Deta HoonI Love this song...also the movie hence the PM 😳
Main Har Ek Pal Ka Shaayar Hoon.
G this song is from movie Silsila, and fit Ishra so well, both made silent promises to each other today, he wished to take away all her pain and gift her all his happiness, she wished to wash away all this guilt and the dust from the past and gift him all her love. Sending those vibes your way...the ones that make you blush 😉
Sia ...thank you and lovely song...so perfect for these two and their silent promises to each otherBeautiful Gan ...
Tum mile pyar se
Mujhe jina gavara hua
Tum huye jo mere mera
Sab kuchh tumhara hua...Tere saathi hai hum
Har baat me sath denge
Ye kinare hai kya
Toofan me sang sang chalenge
Ye jag sara tujhpe wara
pyar se pyara tu hume ...
Swaths ...love how beautifully you put across the underlying emotions of the episode...so much depth in their love...his concern for her wellbeing..her understanding of his anguish ...her taking reigns of the situation and letting him know she's invested in this...their life together. Your lines in bold...I loved !Originally posted by: swathibalan
Love is my decision to make your problem my problem -Robert Schuller
A husband stood there feeling helpless. Sad. Seeing his wife, his love, bear the brunt of his past time and again.
A woman, who taught him to love again, gave him his daughter back was accused by his son of harassment.
A woman who saw the pain and mental agony the child was going through, even when his biological parents couldn't.
His trust in her, her ability to love was so deep that he didn't even ponder for a second
But he was in pain, seeing her suffering every time because of the complications in his life
Her friend questioned the worth of this relationship - a relationship which only brought her trouble and suffering
But what can trouble do when it stands against love?
What is suffering when there is love to relieve it?
What is pain when there is love to heal it?
What is a relationship if it breaks at the first sign of trouble?
When there is love, every problem only strengthens the relationship.
She told him she will stand with him. Every time. She showed it again.
All problems are theirs, all happiness is theirs. She proved they are Do Jism Ek Jaan
She reiterated the promises she had made in this marriage.
A promise to build his life. A promise to be his strength
A promise to never back out of the deal.
A promise to be there forever. A promise to love forever.
As Its not just his life anymore. Its theirs. She drove him home today, emphatically.
A home filled with dreams, desires and love.
This song came instantly to my mind from today's exchange between a husband and wife in love
You and I must make a pact
We must bring salvation back
Where there is love I'll be thereI'll reach out my hand to you
I'll have faith in all you do
Just call my name and I'll be thereAnd oh, I'll be there to comfort you
And build my world of dreams around you
I'm so glad I found you yeahI'll be there with a love so strong
I'll be your strength
I'll keep holdin' onLet me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness well it's all I'm after
whenever you need me and I'll be thereI'll be there to protect you
With an unselfish love that respects you
Just call my name and I'll be there
