coping mechanism I guess - hide and deflect, to tackle means to really handle all the shit that can come out of this - but to do that you have to be mentally prepared. He isnt ready to ask her if she loves someone else, she cannot hear him admit his love for his ex as well...so what do you do you run and hide, you change colors like a chameleon rather than brave on
