Shilpa Ruhi is of course integral to the whole plot and I liked it that they raised the issue of a child getting the kind of treatment that Ruhi is said to be experiencing at the hands of her peers in the episode...once again the issue of kids coming from broken homes was highlighted and at a juncture when her parents, the ones she is with are having such a tensed phase in their relationship too...even the MILs cant take this anymore...they want the marriage to become normal and of course the right button to press for all things is Ruhi...they got married for Ruhi, now they have to make this marriage work for her as well and it cant unless they sort their issues, fights occassionally or tiffs here and there happens between all couples but a regular atmosphere of this kind is bound to affect any child

Just having two parents doesnt give a child a stable home - they need to have a stable, loving relationship too
