The way Ishita is depicted for so long and so many times after the introduction of Mani, any husband without messy past in his place would doubt her.It's the natural human behavior. Same goes for Ishita as well. If a spouse doesn't doubt her partner if he/she's gone overboard like Ishita, that will imply the spouse doesn't have any feelings for the other partner.
