I just cannot get how anyone can say he is justified... He can be angry yes. But EVEN if Ishita were to be having an affair, it is not justified. So why are people saying she needs to clear the issue? She does but the fact that he cannot control his temper is entirely different and nothing to do with justifying Ramans actions.

I think whatever he did was out if his love n possessiveness. He was drunk n immediately afterwords he repented what he did. His feelings for her were genuine so I will pardon him for this. He is called Ravan Kumar it is not he!

Its indeed a strong word and it does hurt to read such a strong word used against a character that's loved. We don't know what would have happened in the scene or how it would have ended even if Ishita hadn't walked out, it could have been completely an opposite ending of what is being said.. so to draw a conclusion like that seems unfair to me. That too repeatedly.

Just something that bothered me to read, No intention to disrespect your POV. Thank you.

I respect your POV and I agree that everyone wants to see their heros in positive light... but I didnt see anything positive coming out of this... he was drunk and out of control... and this is a soap... many young people watching it... and idealizing these characters... Raman's behavior was wrong and this situation could easily escalate to a level from where he couldnt redeem himself... and that is all I am trying to say...

Again.. its my POV... and no disrespect intended

Ladies marital assault is assault!!
Shocking! I do hope you are taking it only in context of the show and in real life you are stronger and more progressive 😭

One of my friend is facing such situation in real life. So I know once this human being turn into monster then its really difficult to turn that monster into human being like cv did instantly. That's why i was saying cv is too immature to handle this topic. It was assault more verbal assault for me than physical assault. I agree with you. For me rape is assault which is more physical and more traumatic and harsh. That is reason i was bit against to use that word for Raman. Appreciate you for using correct word.. the only thing I was justifying is that raman doesn't try to molest ishita like param. It was assault which is again punishable and not justifying his actions. For me even Raman is not bechara.

the problem is people are too attached to the character and want to see them in positive light... all i can hope is that young girls watching this have someone in their lives to explain that NO ONE, and when I say NO ONE i mean NO ONE has the RIGHT TO TOUCH you without your permission or misbehave with you...

No, no, and no.

i read somewhere on the forum that raman forcing himself on ishita was wrong because she's innocent, but if raman had done that with shagun, it would have been understandable and okay because she cheated.

🤢

what is wrong with the women on this forum? sexual assault, even attempted, is wrong. period.
just because someone cheated doesn't mean you can right one wrong by committing another, even worse one.

i just hope that all the girls who have answered yes did so because they're too young to understand this properly, and because it's their favourite 'hotwa' raman which is making them ignore facts.

but to be honest, it's so disappointing, and depressing to think that a female in this day and age, after all the rape awareness that has been going on in india since dec 2013, answers that it's okay for a husband to be forceful if he draws a conclusion that his wife is cheating.

it's never okay. it's a criminal act. not to mention how completely immoral it is. and nothing justifies it - not alcohol, not feelings of hurt, nothing.

sick. 🤢

It bothers me that folks are justifying his actions - TO YOUNG GIRLS WATCHING - NO, this is not justified WHATEVER the circumstances. Your husband, your boyfriend, NO ONE - is allowed to act like that..

NO.But Raman did not try to molest her. He just wanted to remind Ishita his right on her. If he really wanted to force himself on her, he would've remove his shirt not the tie.
