No trolling, no jokes - just two serious questions that were to be asked ages ago.

A- What happened to the premise of the show? What happened to the promise of delivering a show that would challenge the norms of society and views on motherhood and infertility? What happened to the promise to give the viewers a show based on content and not to launch another show to join the TRP race? What happened to the promised relationship of family, unconditional love, selflessness, maturity, hope, faith and beauty.? Because all I see is chaos and another show joining the rat race giving up on it's beauty, creativity, logic and all the promises in the process. Are they even focusing on what was promised to us, or are we made fools of - I do understand that running a show 6 days a week and 52 weeks a year is a tedious job but do you really need to resort to this? There are so many tracks that you could bring forth, so many underlying things that could be ventured into. That brings me to the second question... indeed a very serious question to the CV's👏👏

B What is up with the rush of a confession? I personally would prefer to have tons of unsaid moments that focus on the premise and make us smile than having a rushed confession.

If somebody could answer the first question, because the second one is subjective and I have no say on anyone's personal want but I do have a problem with such a beautiful show going down the drain with the help of such illogical and infuriating tracks no matter how hard we try to find meaning to them - because let's face it, when the screenwriter or who so ever pens the scene down they have no care or thought of any hidden meaning.

I don't know about the rest but I want our promised show back. Someone please show them the articles and promotion events all over again and replay Ekta's promise of not caring about TRP's but just give the "working urban audience a show to watch", because that's what the fan base is, educated working people who choose to watch this show over any American show airing at the same time slot because not only are (read: were) we proud of something great to watch on out national channel, we were also proud to be a part of such a leap taken by Indian Television - taking up a controversial and shunned topics of infertility, divorce and adoption and churning out a beautiful tale of love, society, second chances and rebirth.

Please return this back to us, your base audience consists of these people not bored housewives who have nothing better to do but bitch about serials as they drink their cup of evening chai. No offense to them, but facts.

Kiara.

@bold 👏👏
excellent post...i so agree with ur points...especially the first one...even though i knew from the very beginning of the show that it would ultimately turn into a love story but somehow i thought they would try to keep the storyline intact...they started off with ruhi ..i mean the show is on ishita and ruhi and raman's bond..then why the hell makers r such introducing tracks to drag the show...i know its not an easy job..but atleast they should think that people liked the show coz of its uniqueness otherwise who doesn't know about Ekta's style of making serials...my mother is a hugeee fan of YHM even she is feeling sad about the way they are proceeding with the mani track... she said with this track CV's hv contradicted ishita's character..she has always been a jasoos whenever anyone in the family is having a problem but why is she acting like a dumb when it comes to her own husband...somewhere she knew that raman feels jealous of Mani..so by now she should hv gotten her answer when Raman told Mani.." ek ghar basaya tha maine tune use bhi ujhar diya.."

That's the sad part of the indian shows. They start with a bang , zara hatke show and eventually the zara hatke shows goes down the drain and becomes your zara cliche show. 😆

This show was started on the premise of luring the niche audience of Urban educated working middle class (men n women) so now when it is turning into illogical storyline really don't know have they lost the premise or the Urban Educated working middle class do not have sensibilities to understand what they are showing. We all know its not the later.

My question is would they even care to bring the old magic back when the rat race called TRPs are raking them big bucks in ad revenues for SP? Lead characters have been butchered. Ishita is no longer the character who was introduced and to fit the time slot requirement the hero is morphed into her bodyguard). This is a question only CVs can answer.

Two days into the forum, three weeks(or more) in marathoning 11 months of the show almost twice. And this is my state, frustrated. Imagine all the members who were out here for the whole time, everyday... Debating and falling in love with the show.

Please. They would start caring when they lose their audience like grains of sand that pass right through your fists. Do you think typical Indian audience can cater to this? Visuals and all that. My maid who was cleaning saw me watch a scene where someone was on the bed, Ashok and Shagun, I guess And they were just in bed and she looked at me as of she caught me watching po*n. Yes. YHM isn't cutesy like IPKKND or stupid like Saathiya or any of those shows. It was meant for a particular time slot and it should stay there. What do you think will happen? The 11 o clock base audience will lose track, they quit the show resulting in loss of TRP both in the 11 pm slot and then the 7 pm spot too.

But they're smart, okay. They give you horrible tracks with one or two scenes that you would watch the episode for.

And at the end of the day the fact remains that it is their show, they put things on the platter while we choose if we pick it up or not. They didn't care nor and they won't care later. YHM will soon be DEK2 where the creative initially went against the audience want, even calling the online audience, quoting the writer and producer, "teens in search of Prince charming" and then when people quit the show they desperately tried to revive it, the funny thing there was that the audience preferred the second lead while the producer and writer were in love with the first. When morphing the first to be a replica of the second didn't work and nor did their other nataks they attempted to bring it back with the second as the lead only to end it abruptly. That's all I know. No one paid attention when we told them to stop, look around and save the show from going down the drain. And it's happening again. But as I said, they earn and we just waste our time, thoughts and efforts.

As long as my parents fund me, I do not have permission to watch Indian Television. And now that I do have permission to watch this show, I choose not to watch it recently. The irony.

It's a daily show - have you ever watched American daily soaps - watch how tracks are made and characters are propelled and thrown off cliffs- literally and figuratively - watch premises gone down drains
It's a daily show writers run out of things yo say and show
It's a daily show - 6 days a week -
On top of that it's an ekta show :))
.that must be answering all of your and everyone's qs I think
I stopped watching at the beginning of this week and shall continue to now catch after the track is over
