Tell Me Why: Two Questions That Deserve An Answer To

No trolling, no jokes - just two serious questions that were to be asked ages ago.

A- What happened to the premise of the show? What happened to the promise of delivering a show that would challenge the norms of society and views on motherhood and infertility? What happened to the promise to give the viewers a show based on content and not to launch another show to join the TRP race? What happened to the promised relationship of family, unconditional love, selflessness, maturity, hope, faith and beauty.? Because all I see is chaos and another show joining the rat race giving up on it's beauty, creativity, logic and all the promises in the process. Are they even focusing on what was promised to us, or are we made fools of - I do understand that running a show 6 days a week and 52 weeks a year is a tedious job but do you really need to resort to this? There are so many tracks that you could bring forth, so many underlying things that could be ventured into. That brings me to the second question...

B What is up with the rush of a confession? I personally would prefer to have tons of unsaid moments that focus on the premise and make us smile than having a rushed confession.

If somebody could answer the first question, because the second one is subjective and I have no say on anyone's personal want but I do have a problem with such a beautiful show going down the drain with the help of such illogical and infuriating tracks no matter how hard we try to find meaning to them - because let's face it, when the screenwriter or who so ever pens the scene down they have no care or thought of any hidden meaning.

I don't know about the rest but I want our promised show back. Someone please show them the articles and promotion events all over again and replay Ekta's promise of not caring about TRP's but just give the "working urban audience a show to watch", because that's what the fan base is, educated working people who choose to watch this show over any American show airing at the same time slot because not only are (read: were) we proud of something great to watch on out national channel, we were also proud to be a part of such a leap taken by Indian Television - taking up a controversial and shunned topics of infertility, divorce and adoption and churning out a beautiful tale of love, society, second chances and rebirth.

Please return this back to us, your base audience consists of these people not bored housewives who have nothing better to do but bitch about serials as they drink their cup of evening chai. No offense to them, but facts.

Kiara.

Bang on Post. I agree with everything that you said dear. 😳

This show was started on the premise of luring the niche audience of Urban educated working middle class (men n women) so now when it is turning into illogical storyline really don't know have they lost the premise or the Urban Educated working middle class do not have sensibilities to understand what they are showing. We all know its not the later.

We deserve a bloody answer of we're to spend eight hours a month watching something they produce. And that is just counting the airtime - adding our Rants, thoughts, discussions and debates - how much of our lives do we waste on this?

They need to have some sense of responsibility. I wouldn't mind it if it was show but they have promised us this and I have spent 88 hours of my life hoping that they abide by their promise only to be disappointed time and again.

And husband in place of Raman would suspect them with their behavior. Have tons of guy friends personally. We hug, tackle each other, lock hands, fool around and even peck each other but we don't cross extents that my boyfriend suspects me or any of my childhood friends nor do they have a higher priority than my man.

I don't care about Mani. I don't bloody give a damn about him. I don't care of he's alive or dead, rich or poor. If he affects and reverses the basic concept of the show he deserves to be stoned out of show. No matter how realistic the situation is meant to be. I am done defending anyone and any scene.

Well said, they are biting right into the stereotype that causes majority of Indians to shy away from their shows. It wasn't that they were running out of TRP. They had more than what was expected, then why this? Murdering characters and converting them into typical daily soap bots?

Thank you.
I felt it was needed.

I would really appreciate it if someone tweeted this to the CV's. I don't know who the are nor do I use my personal twitter for TV shows.

On second thoughts I think I'm being extremely stupid. It's just a tv show. They earn. We water our time. Nothing else.
