Part 1
"How can a man change so much?" was the only question that was in each mind, when they saw him receiving The Best CEO award. Was it a thing so much big that included him the list of "mosts"?' he often thought, but brushed it off as soon as it had occurred, he didn't wanted a baggage of such vile thoughts, after all where he wanted to go and what he wanted to be and why of it was still unknown to him. He felt like a wanderer who was trying very hard to reach somewhere, where he could feel peace, but he knew somewhere that, that place was nowhere, except for...' And all his thoughts halted, why again, he thought, he was thinking about his past. It was a vague memory but it often disturbed him, he knew that just brushing it off was no solution but it was this memory that had led him to this path, where he had got everything, money, fame and lot of pretty admirers, but he also knew that it was not enough. Everything lacked without her...

"Ma'am, I have this appointment letter, um... can you please ask Mr. Arora about me? He knows me..." she said politely.
The receptionist looked at her, from top to bottom and then scrutinized the appointment letter and then said politely, "Ma'am, he is in conference with the boss, you'd have to wait."
While she nodded with a smile and went to the couch nearby and sat, and picked up a latest version of the Economic times magazine, flipping pages without giving much attention to the letters.
Her life, it felt that had so many twists and turns, but still she was happy that finally, it was taking a new turn, and this time she would make a brand new life for herself. She was a girl of a very strong will power and always positive attitude, may be that was why she was able to cope up with the hurt that was bestowed upon her by her love of life. May be this was her mistake, her complete trust in him or maybe she should say, her blind trust in him.
She had looked at herself many times after that day, but nothing seemed a mess, then why it happened with her? Was she that bad, that Murugan punished her in this way? But she took a deep breath, and thought to herself determined, that now she would never show her vulnerable side to anyone, she won't open her heart in-front of anyone, she would hide her vulnerability under the shadows of her smile. Only if she knew life better she would have never been here in first place, with him everything changed for her- her aspirations, her aim and dreams, all were molded according to him. She sighed and looked at the clock, fifty minutes had already passed and then she got up, and went up to the reception and asked, "Would it take much longer?"
"A bit Ma'am." Receptionist answered.
She sighed and went back to the couch and sat down quietly.

"... and here we compile our presentation, you can be sure that we would not leave a single stone unturned for keeping it from success." Said a slim man, while looking up at the CEO Raman Kumar Bhalla, to see his reaction but looked down immediately, when he found him staring at the screen without a tinge of smile anywhere.
It was then that Mihir, his right hand kept a hand on his shoulder bringing him back from a reverie where he was lost a lot these days, "Bhai?"
"Uh..hh... yeah, the presentation is nice, but provide me with graphs, I want the same presentation on paper as well, by Wednesday?" said Raman and looked at the person who gave the presentation, who couldn't do much but nod in acceptance.
It was after the meeting was over, that he finally made his way towards his cabin, his cabin was nothing like that of extraordinary, or rather it was, but the work all around suggested that he needed some serious help, files all over the desk, four coffee cups lying on the table, papers sprawled, and with all this, no one was allowed to enter his cabin, except of Mihir and his secretary or the one he wanted.
As he entered his cabin, he sighed cringed at the sight, but this mess was created by him, not that he enjoyed much, he was once cleanliness freak, but now the toil that he was taking in reaching to a point where he could remember anything but his agonizing past, all he could do was to indulge himself neck deep in work, one thought about her, and he picked up another important file, and then another. But could it ever really help? Only he knew that these childish things did little but turned his nature more cold and harsh day by day, filling his life with more and more anger and unsatisfation.

While Mihir went towards his cabin, when she saw him and followed him and called him before he could enter his cabin, "Mihir".
And he turned towards her, and his eyes widened in surprise, "Ishita" he exclaimed and kept his both hands on her shoulder with a bright smile and pulled her in a warm hug, "Kaisi ho?"
"I am fine...", she exclaimed shyly on being hugged by him in his office, well in their office, she was not the kind to show off much physical gestures, especially in public place like that, and she pulled away softly and said, "Mihir, here..." and she gave him the appointment letter.
"Ohh" he looked through the letter and looked up with a bright smile, and said little naughtily, "You won't be angry and definitely won't curse me to put you somewhere, difficult to pull off, will you?"
She looked at him suspiciously and then said uncertainly, "...as long as I would be paid, that would be a no problem."
And then his smile broadened, and he put an arm around her from side and took her in his cabin and motioned her to sit, "Two coffees please" he said in intercom and looked at her as he settled in his chair infront of her and continued, "Actually, more than anything I am sorry for doing this to you..." and then he looked at her apologetically.
"What is it Mihir... please be clear." She asked uncertain and little scared.
"The thing is, you are marketing graduate, but there is no posts regarding that, I mean there are, but not here in Delhi, and only thing I can do is to appoint you as our boss's secretary, but.." and then he stopped little uncertain and his face became serious, and he looked anywhere but at her.
"But... but what?" she asked curious.
"But... he is very difficult to work with and especially with girls." Then he looked at her and clarified immediately as he saw fear of misunderstanding cross her face, "No! Actually, it's not what you are thinking, he is nice and all, and respects, but, it's his mood swings, he is little harsh, scolds a lot if anything is not as per his wish, but he is also my inspiration and my friend. But I won't be there to back you... or help you... because that would be unprofessional and he would be your only boss. You are understanding, right?"
She nodded, and just then coffee arrived, after a while, as they finished their coffee, she said breaking the silence, "From when should I start?"
He smiled and said, "Today is Monday, you can start from today... but know that we don't know each other... okay?" to which she nodded.
And he called on his intercom and looked at her and said, "Wait here, let me talk to him first." And went out.

"I don't want any inexperienced person, what do you want Mihir, me to explain to her the work, to start training classes here, instead of running a business?" Raman said as anger filled in.
"Come on Bhai, she is good, I have seen her work, give her a chance, I am sure you would not be disappointed" and then he looked at Raman who looked at him in anger. "Okay bhai tell me, have I ever disappointed you? Please bhai, trust me..."
"Okay, I'll see, but only for a week and then she would be off, if I won't find her good enough." Raman said, and stood up and said, "I am leaving for a meeting with Mr. Chopra, tell her to start by cleaning this mess and you, meet me in lobby, you are going with me in 10." And with that he walked out.
And with that, they left, while Ishita still was in Mihir's cabin when a short plump guy came and said to her, "Ma'am, you are Boss's new secretary?" when she nodded he said with a warm smile, "please follow me."
And then they stopped infront of the glass bound cabin, "This is Boss's cabin, please...," he motioned her to enter, "You have to pile up the files and organize this cabin, sir will be coming in two hours, till then..." he left his sentence incomplete as Ishita saw the mess with widened eyes, but nodded uncertain, "If you need any help you can call Rachel", and he motioned towards the woman, of tall figure, talking with some guy at the corner of the lobby area, and then left with a smile.
It was almost two hours since she was in cabin, still cleaning and organizing, when the cabin door opened and she heard a deep professional voice, "Mr. Chopra, we'll see, Mihir is going to be connected with you regarding the matter..." and then heard his steps halted and then she heard him slumping on couch and then an, "Aah" while jumping off it immediately, as he felt files under him and then she turned towards him, seeing his face filled with anger, while he looked around and then his eyes fell on her amidst of the mess and surprisingly, his eyes widened in shock and his mouth left half open as he stood there still looking at her intently.
