I have a kostin though...if Shagun and Ashok part ways what is the purpose of keeping Lambu brothers on the canvas for the show? CVs haven't clarified if he has legally adopted Adi in which case Shagun could drag him to court as Adi's dad and ask for financial support. If Adi only changed his name to Khanna then it's a diff. story.

I've always seen Ashok have a soft corner for Adi. How would that translate in his life? Chota lambu is nothing more than a trouble maker...an controversial character that he makes Lambu look like a sweetheart.

I think it would be to add to Raman's problems on the business front. If you see today's epi also, Ashok messed up with Raman purely on business level, it had nothing to do with Shagun.

As far as CV's remembering the name change scene from months ago, well I would applaud them if they bring this up coz then it means they remember what they show.

Ashok favoring Shagun had a lot of reasons - lust & getting back at Raman being the primary ones. Adi is a major pawn in the same game & thus again the "interest" in him. The only genuine reaction I saw from Ashok towards Adi was in his b'day party scene.

However with MCP's entry, I have not been able to figure out what CV's want to portray? Ashok suddenly finds Shagun & Adi are not even important enough to keep around for getting back at Raman. Has Ashok given up on claiming Raman's pyaar & attention now 😆

I think a lot of things will be clarified in the next major track which is of Ashok-Shagun & MiMi marriage. The speculation I have on this is not pretty & will not say it coz well it just makes me sad.

PS - really sorry I have not been on your post - honestly I show green on the forum but most of the time have refreshed the main page for about 3 times a day. Anyways 🤗

No two marriages are alike and it's up to the couple how they understand each other.

Raman, I agree, has an acidic tongue but a clean heart. People like him feel everything intensely. If he can shout and rant on high volume with sharp words, he can feel the majboori as intensely with his tears, so too can he be tender and loving to his children and kind and considerate to his inlaws and Mihir and Bala. I'd say of all the characters on the show, he's probably the most well crafted character. I watch the show to see his journey for he is as close to reality a character as there is on the show.

Ishita started off like a normal almost 30 woman but seems at times CVs don't know what to do with her maturity level. She's been all over the place in her reactions, maybe trying to settle in for the 7:30 slot.😛

I agree that Raman is indeed the most explored character of the show. Ishita ... well I have always maintained that while the creatives have explored her kindness in quite detail, her past is something which needs more time and exploration.

Well, I always oscillate for her character ... at times she is completely identifiable, however, at times I am like .. is she for real? But then, I accept that at the end of the day it is a daily soap and it cannot be 100% real. It is acceptably close to reality and I am fine with it.

You go to another extreme like Raman Bhalla as well. Nobody expects the hubby to wait with a bouqet.

THAT was not what we lamented about. Many of us are married. Most are married to workaholics, MOST WOMEN are workaholics as well

We dont need lessons on "how a hubby should behave"😃

Raman crossed the line. He said "Jao tumhaari awaaz kaano mein chubti hai"

REALLY?😡 In real life if any hubby talks to his wife like that, I pity the wife...

But then some wives are blessed with more self respect than the others, so might express their displeasure😃

The girl child is inherently trained NOT to use such words with her husband. Ishita manages her practice her home and Ruhi. Raman is not the only man that holds a job. Sorry!

We have NEVER heard her be so snarkly or b----y with Raman😲

Just a word of advice .. u may want to tone down personal barbs .. its very easy to give personal barbs to anyone .. one refrains from doing so .. cause one has SELF RESPECT ... & probably has learnt how to BEHAVE.. in their mothers lap ...

I am not sure but do the moderators even read reply posts .. coz threads are closed for flimsier reasons than this ...

My 2 cents on the discussion . ..

On the previous night it was shown Ishita first confesses her love .. but when she feels raman is aware of the same .. she makes all possible efforts to backtrack .. she even goes so far as in telling him .. she did not mean what she said ..

he then makes a statement saying .. ek din tum Khud mujhe woh baat batoagi"

the next day morning u see her being all mushy . she is acting smitten .. so the hubby points out .. WHY R U DOING WIFELY things .. basically saying why r u being all loving .. now ..

So basically what u get was .. a sulking pati & a completely smitten patni .. who was GOING OUT OF HER WAY TO PLEASE HER PATI .. .. go back to the dialog .. ek din tum Khud ..

This is a story .. this is a show .. how u would behave personally is not what is shown on screen .. why would u watch it then ... when they make a real scene people misinterpret it .. A CEO home from work .. in the midst of a presentation .. is being disturbed by mundane day to day happenings .. do u really think he will have the patience to listen .. i know i WOULDNT ..

Coming down to what you have to say ... I agree with the thought process behind it ... the CV's may be on this track ... but am kind of put off from the execution ... it looked a 7:30 saas bahu material to me ..

frankly for the last two days mujhe itna maza nahi aaya

to begin with,the trip and catch made me feel cliche ko cliche types banana ... I know the difference was Ishita was fine by it ... and it was different ... lekin agar usko stretch karne ki bajaye 2-3 second me Raman dialogue bolta to normal hota ... that is what made me cringe ... why a song ?

Then aaj ... Shagun is suddenly nanad? He asked him to move on right ... he said maaf kar de ... do we forgive like this in real world ??? Ekdam se sab normal ... kuch awkwardness nahi .. Shagun all set in new house and already acting as Saas of the house ...

And then Palak Paneer ... Shagun wants to dig her own grave or what ... on one side she invites her husband to be whom she has an idea MAY have a problem with commitment courtesy his MCP brother ... and then in front of him she urges her ex husband ki pleej to try my Palak Paneer ... I assure you I have not lost the touch ...

It was too dumb for me ..

The good part was Ishita being able to calm Raman with a please and a glass of water .. this is what is progression and this is what looks natural ...

Something was amiss today ... at least for me ... but then there is always a tomorrow ... and I have full confidence in the cv's because the day I get disappointed from the CVs they bring in something mind boggling ... old precap actually excited me .. may be a surprise for us ...

Too sleepy to type anymore ... Hugs girl ... 🤗

lol its so weird that it didn't work for u coz First 2 episodes on monday n tuesdy put me off completely seeing a sugary sweet Raman n Ishita suddenly having dawn of realization that she might love Raman. 😆 Although i LIKED individual ishra scenes 😳

Coz I wanted the dawn of realization to happen a bit slowly, i.e. my problem as a viewer. I wanted a good closure to Sanajna Fiasco with Raman n Ishu yelling n sorting out matters, they sorted out their matters by watching the other person handle the situation (Raman was watching when Ishu had a balcony scene with mihir n then Ishu watching n putting rest to her insecurities when she heard all that dialogue between Raman n Mihir)

But I loved last two episodes Firstly Raman got back to his business, i.e Ravan kumar mode 😛 n ishu took charge of Romance. 😉 Basically I feel Raman is testing her in his own way by staying away from her n being bitter with her, n this is driving her crazy n making her go more closer to him 😳 Ya he was busy with work is another issue. N it happens that ki u tend to snap sometimes when u r busy concentrating in ur work.

What i loved in todays episode was it was actually a test of Raman n not Ishu in that Palak Paneer scene. The comfort level has so much increased between them that he can identify his wife's cooking 😳 His acknowledgement on Shagun's face that She is my wife n knows my taste n i ALSO like her way of cooking was a beautiful way of putting it.

n Then the way trio cooked was awesome to see again. n Raman Ishita scene in the end was good too.

Just don't think it as of 7.30 slot maybe u will like it more.

I am not trying to make u like the episode 😛 but just saying what i feel 🤗

I can't relate to Ishita's character these days like I did in the beginning. Now with the 7:30 slot who knows how much of the bahu is brought to the fore in the story.

Concur completely with what you say. My Raman and I are both snarky with each other after long days in court and believe you me, neither of us are lacking in the self respect department. We just understand each other and respect each others space.
