There are levels of behavioural patterns. No one is saying Raman hits her or man handles her. But verbal abuse is after abuse only. Don't know how anyone can be ok with Raman's taunts... *sigh* CV's think they are showing cuteness this way... But no... If his one liners were not insulting it could be cute... But at the moment it's not! Atleast for me... Self respect is valuable... Hope CV's understand this!

OMG... this is one PASSIONATE OUTPOURING ...
A very valid post ... if u have lived in India then u probably will understand my explanation a bit better ..

This serial picks up a very BIG issue .. INTER CASTE MARRIAGE ... a country which is so divided in caste ... sees a couple united in caste ...

Heres a punjabi male married to a Tamilian female ...

A punjabi munda or punjabis in our country are known to be LOUD, OVER THE TOP .. people who use their HEART FIRST HEAD LAST ... people who are ruled by their emotions ..Gregarious ... & fun loving ... they are loud by nature .. but have a very deep core of CARE & LOVE in them ..

I remember a post of someone saying they did not like that Raman keeps telling Simmi "tera muh TOd daloonga" ... but if u have grown up in a punjabi household this is a normal dialog ... it does not mean that the person saying will actually do that .. BUT their words EXPRESS the DEEP & LOUD emotions they feel ...

When Raman met Ishita ... he had a deep hatred for women ... a man scorned in the worst possible way by a woman ... The woman .. firstly committed adultery .. .secondly wrongly manipulated the son to talk against the father ... & thirdly abandoned her own flesh & blood daughter ...
How is such a man to RESPECT WOMEN ... But at the same time he was also protected & pampered by women ... he did always love & respect his mother ... that innate quality to PROTECT & NUTURE will always remain within him ...

Its that man when he sees a damsel in distress his instinctive reaction is to protect ... but his intrinsic nature is loud ..boisterous ... OTT ... hence u will keep seeing him talk in that manner with his wife .. if u note he talks in the same way to his mother & sister as well ... does not mean he does not respect them .. its just their way of talking ...

I really dont understand why such a hue and cry is made of raman taunting ishita?????Raman was angry with her for meddling in Mihir's drawers and dont we all say and do mean things when we r angry?? and more so if the other person is someone whom we are close to...the scene where ishita is talking to Raman when he is reading the newspaper has been shown so realistically...try talking to ur hubby when he is immersed in the newspaper and u only get hmmms as response and if u persever and try to elicit a more interactive dialogue...then god help u.

Atleast my hubby does it ...does tat mean tat he doesnt respect me or love me or doesnt know my worth...absolutely no...tats how men behave...atleast all the men i know.A marriage is not abt having loveydovey conversations all the time. There are fights, arguments, taunts galore does it mean tat the couple dont respect each other ???or dont love each other ????

The husband and wife would be first to defend each other in times of adversity...thats wat a marriage is and thats what they have shown in YHM ...and we all love the show cos its so much closer to reality and not over the top like other daily soaps

So stop being overdramatic...this is wat happens in most of the houses and its not only the men the women are no less .They can give as good as they get ,sometimes better. And blaming the actors for the scenes or the storyline is really not done!!!!!!!Comeon they are just actors doing their job.Why make it so personal????
