I love this song too, and for some reason, I associate it with IshRa too. Maybe its the seriousness of the movie, or the intensity of love that was portrayed on the screen. Your piece has more than justified the use of this brilliant composition!
Thanks so much Lucky, I love this song and the song Naina from the movie too god Gulzar saab is a genius and I cant tell you how many times I have heard these two compositions of his. The song is so them right? And you saying that I could justify it means a lot to me 🤗
Now, your story is an actual piece of beauty Aani. It has the intensity of a volcano that has decided not to be dormant any more. And the way you balanced out the sensuous scenes with the serious conversation, I can only applaud!
I cant write smut for the heck of it even if my life is on the line so I had to write a balance which could only happen with a convo that was equally charged or should I say overpowering than the act itself which is what I tried 😳 and volcano - WOW! that's a huge compliment Lucky ☺️ but that was the kind of intensity I was going for which is totally credit to RKB and the way KP plays him, I can so see this man being the very definition of what an extremist is - and if he is so possessive and protective of her when they aren't even together I CAN only IMAGINE what he would be like when they are as is the situation in this piece. Like I have said before to you Junoon and Sukoon, he would live them with Ishita and for her, because of her.
Raman's biggest insecurity is that someone he loves will leave him. Her biggest discovery is that she has found a man who she wants to be with for the rest of her life. But it required the presence of Subbu to trigger that reaction from him, and her vocalising her feelings. Just like we saw in the episode too. There is nothing like confronting the past to get a better perspective on the present and future.
I love the way you have phrased it. the balance of insecurity and discovery. While they are very comfy now and are moving at an apt pace I do feel they need a catalyst to stir things because they are stuck in a limbo in the show, In my piece though things have already crossed that stage and YET, because of his history Raman still battles demons which are not exactly unfounded, though unnecessary. And seeing his reaction that same night confirmed things for me, I am on the right track here 😳 I had based this reaction because of the way he freaked out when she played that prank on him that she has lost her memory, just the idea that he may be a stranger to her now scares him and as per my piece - they have confessed and consummated too, so the reaction is even more humongous 😳
And honestly, Aani, I can imagine KP nailing this scene you wrote. I can almost visualise him saying the things you wrote, with fear/anger/annoyance in his eyes when he questions her about Subbu!!!
Oh he sure would I swear I am so happy to discover an ACTOR on Indian telly who finally acts amongst so many wooden mannequins I am delighted 😳
Brilliant piece of work Aani. I am liking the surge of inspiration you've had recently!!!
☺️
