I will just add my two scents on the actual scene.

When rain started, IshRa had distinct reactions-

Raman promptly closed the window to protect his home n not wishing to face the weather.

Whereas Ishita approached the rains with open arms; rather it got her thinking deep.

She was sad that Raman did not share with her but she never blamed Raman for it.

She was hurt but she was aware that her pain was probably less compared to his suffering.

Rain cleared her mind further and she thought practically about her 'Adi' dilemma.

Of course, real scene started when Raman 'moved' n joined Ishita.

He so wanted to talk his heart out but lacked the strength initially. .

Little silent moment tonight gave him the courage and he took the first step.

When they spoke, Ishita was open in her thoughts n equally eager to listen to him.

She almost forced him to shed his emotional hat and talk to his own self- something raman 'the father' was not ready to do.

And I think that is why we saw an abrupt reaction from him about he being human with stained feet n he also dropped his actual plan of talking to her..

Thought he evaded that talk tonight, it surely showed him the mirror and got him thinking.

Result we will see on Monday in what promises to be a crackling scene.

But for today, he kind of got an idea that he has to break the khamoshi, face the rain and it will be her support which will help him in it.

And she is obviously more than ready and waiting for it 😳

You are so right about the narazgi, I know many have the complaint that Ishu should not forgive him easily and I guess even I thought Raman should come up with a proper apology and put in all his efforts in manaoing Ishita but looking back at their relationship and the nature of Ishita, this only seemed like the natural way of things. The reason for her anger had always been a result of not understanding his actions, his hiding things from her and yes supporting Shagun, because however much Ishita may scream she doesn't care who he loves, she does. The love she has for Raman forces to her be jealous and act like a typical wife in this case. ;)

But the moment she came to know about Adi, she couldn't remain angry at him anymore. Even while she was hurting and under the impression that he was doing it out of love for Shagun, some part of her had seen his pain and countless times she has tried to reach him either by deliberately hurting him with words in the drunk scene or trying to put across her pain like when she told him she didn't know him anymore. Then how could she not forgive when the real reason came out? She knows how much he loves Adi, she knows Adi is his weakness and Raman has never been rational when it comes to Adi, how could she reproach him for protecting his child however wrong that may have been? Ishita has always come across as the kindest soul ever, then why should this seem out of character that she would forgive him so easily? She loves Raman enough to put his pain before her own, she is connected to him so that the only way to completely heal her pain is first to heal his.

That scene has to be one of the most beautiful IshRa scene I've watched. I'm starting to think IshRa have a special connection with the rain. Those few words they exchanged, each one laden with feelings showed the beauty of the bond they share, Ishita used the rain to try and tell him that the dust had had settled in his relationships could only be washed away by him, if he would but talk and he understood and he, in his own way, again told her he was helpless, he wanted to but could not. Sigh.

But Ishu told herself tht one day Raman will tell whts in his heart n she will wait for tht day which she meant to say indirectly by saying she is waitin for tht barsaat

^^The best part for me. She is ready to give him time and has faith that Raman will tell her. For me, that sums up IshRa's relationship better than anything else. With every crisis it goes through, it only emerges stronger than before.

Raman...his expression when she came into the room and the self talk clearly showed how torn he was, how much he wanted to tell her and end the misunderstandings between them. Without Ishu at his side, he is alone even when in a crowd of people, you can see his determination to keep things from her getting weaker each day, the inner fight in him strengthening to the point where he hates himself for not being able to confide. That Thursday outburst indicated how he couldn't bear for her to even think he stilled loved Shagun. I think if he had stayed in the room any longer, along with being angry on her, he would just have ended up yelling that it was her that he loved and no one else. But then that just may be the wish to see that translating here.😳

The way he first got up to close the window then came to sit near her to touch that same rain, made me think he would only let the rains into in his life if Ishita was there to share it with him, in fact, she was his rain. The one who pushed him to put his life back on track, the one who will always be there to remind him of how wrong he can be and how much good he can do. The only one who can wash away his pain. <3

Love how you used waiting for baarish' for both. Yes, they are, and I'm happy that it'll happen soon. :)

Let me start by saying I love rains - actually obsessed with them😆- So the moment Ishita woke up to the rain and put her hand out to enjoy the feeling of those droplets on her palm I fell in love with the scene😳. I used to always do that, keep my window wide open in the rains and feel the breeze and the raindrops on my face as I slept.😃 It had a magical, soothing effect that I really could never explain - better than any lullaby😆.

And Ishita put words to that feeling today. It was poignant that she felt calm and relaxed with the rain on her face - and made her sort through the turmoil that she had been going through and what a lovely monologue - voicing every thought that was running through most of our minds in the last few weeks of this track.

But what stood out for me was the scene immediately after. I did expect Raman to watch her pondering and drenching in the rain like a crazy woman but I did not expect him to join her.

Did you notice that just a few minutes ago - he had made it a point to shut the window when the rain started? And the same guy actually joined her and put his hand out too!!😳 - Uber romantic but also very symbolic.

Raman had shut himself to everyone and everything since the time he realized Adi was the culprit - he had a burden on his soul that he did not want anyone to know about.

The rain in Ishita's words was a gift sent by the heavens to cleanse all the dust and dirt on earth - in Raman's case to cleanse all the clutter in his heart and free him of the burden on his soul.

His closing of the windows initially - symbolized his reaction in the last few weeks - and then when he decided to join Ishita - he had prepared himself to let go and allow himself to be freed.And Ishita understood that he had finally taken the first step towards wanting to share.

Hence she gave him a chance to speak by voicing her thoughts. Her use of 'paas' 'saath' was also very poignant - since she sincerely believed they were close enough for him to have shared this with her confidently.

But I think he made his intent clear that he was willing to talk to her - even though he would take his time. Which is why even though Ishita ended her monologue before Raman joined her with ' kaash Raman ne mujhse kahaa hota' - after Raman left - she had a change of mind where she confidently said that she knew that someday he would surely open his heart to her. His initiative gave her the confidence that it was just a matter of time.

For Raman her statement was a much needed balm - he could see that light at the end of the tunnel finally. And he also knew that he was never going to be alone in whatever deep, darkness he lands himself into.

And which is why he too changed his statement from ' not being able to meet her gaze and face her ' to ' someday I will open my heart to you and pour out everything'.It was that small gesture and her reiteration of her faith in goodness and truth which gave him the confidence.

Clapworthy writing here👏.

The scene was also one of the most romantic ones I have seen in a long time ever- no touching, no romantic lines, heck not even a decent eyelock - but body language and silences that spoke volumes - and of course the rain.😳

Strangely for me - it symbolized the next phase of their relationship too - both of them till date have shared each others sorrows at some level or the other. Him joining her in enjoying the rain - both their palms outstretched together - was like saying that now they would share their joys too..Hope I am right here😳😊.

Ending my rant here with a line - todays scene reminded me of one of my favs from Rab ne banaa di Jodi - Anushka standing in the balcony and enjoying the first rain - and feeling all her pains washed away..

"pehli baarish ki boondon ka swaad chakhaa hai kabhi...apni aankhen band karlo aur iss baarish ki har boond ko apne dil tak pahunchne do..." - I think Ishita wanted that too today😳!

Day before only he made his declaration in front of whole world. Still her 'no feelings' unending rant made it look precise that she needs all his attention only for her alone. Poor Raman, he wasn't prepared for this at all 🤣 Otherwise, he'd sure atleast tried his luck something like which he did during 'speech nahi suna' time.
But even if he was prepared for it, he dont know there is no end to a wife's insecurities and there wont be any logical reason behind it.
So better Raman get used with it. Coz Ishu is such an intelligent girl who can analyse any situation given.
By that time infact she should've joined the dots that Raman is saving Shagun only for Adi as he'd never let Ishu go from his life that he said. But her insecurities didnt let her think that.
After the declaration, what made her charge those allegations on Raman was her insecurity, fear of losing him to his ex.
Otherwise, there wasn't any need to reason his false accusation was coz of Shagun. Why not bring someone else in between.
Immediately so we could see the relief, the content on her face that whatever Raman did was not at all for his ex.
Before Raman's declaration, Madam kitna udd rahin thi, if she made everything around Raman go upside down with her silence until here, then she DOUBLED it after his declaration but this time with her lectures coz now she knows she holds the license of being sole proprietor of that hot property 🤣 🤣 and thats why it was so easy for her to WAIT for Raman telling the truth to her which she couldn't do before.
She behaves just like a wife and gives a 'name dost' ? WHATEVA !

The scene was symbolic to the ISHRA essence. They just proved that even in situations where they are engulfed and clogged by myriad of mixed emotions, they can look through each other and show their care and concern.

The rain doesnt see where it falls. be it hard ground or soft marsh, mountains or plains, it falls without a bias. Ishita's love, care and concern for Raman is same as the rain. Her struggles or tense mind state or his anger doesn't alter any of it for him. The best part is that he does recognize all her goodness but as he said insaan kamzor hota hai majhboor hota hai. Awesome dialog it was and it just explains the reason for the track. Humans are prone to err and we dont have control over it. Not justifying Raman but just trying to comprehend his state and his emotions. Her empathy for him was evident in her monologue and the way she longed for him to tell her everything.

Ishita is always shown as simple and understanding. her extreme patience and sincerity comes through too...her patience is definitely going to get paid off and soon Raman would pour out his heart, his honest feelings to her. I want him to show that she is very special to him, in fact most special. I really want him to comfort her and become her support system as she is to him!

Waiting for that!

Ishita is such a sensible matured woman, she undrstands the depth of each pain expression of her husband but beyond all this she is in love with husband and she very well knows that coz we got to see her blurting out in front of Bala... Leaving that apart...

Her relation with Raman is not normal where she can rightfully claim everything. The delicacy levels that control this marriage are at a high level I.e., above sea level sorts and their feel for each other is below sea level tooo deep and thick to take!! The tug of war between their innerself is too much that they neither can claim their rights nor are in a state of acceptig any third persion ontrventions in between both of them not even kids. Though here Raman fighting to save his son the turmoil he is getting rolled for is that he couldnt leave the burden on his soulmate's shoulder a,d in turn playing charade game of being stern in saving a human in crime.

He is a blind father who is longing for his blood who is far away from him for years and is hating him to bits. So to win over his blood and get close will dominate the hearts intensity crust strongly initially when intensity doesn't dominate blood. But when hearts crust bursts out in intensity its just a volcano it doesn't see blood water bone skin... All that it sees is only the lava and the brimming fire that it has to pour out which Ramans condition right now.

Her allegations are the fire balls hitting the crust to erupt. Her eyes and her innocent hearts trust she shows is the crusador which is melting his blood in hearts crust to explode to bits any let lava flow on her... Growing distance is the irresistible fact that Ramans heart couldn't handle

His heart is alarming him to explode but brains and blood overpowering.. Fears clouding him but when params intervened and stated off crap with her his heart dominated every thing and he bursted out as a mini volcano making its reachable subjects to ashes in form of a fight. He didn't even care its court premises and for such daring rash act they might even throw him behind bars under nonsense. Here when he was about to get a creeps support he opted Ishita caught her hand and moved. The pain anger was so evident " damnit why do you behave the way you feel you too may go wrong. If you would have accepted my lift that ass wouldn't have got chance to see you. But your stupidity is way too much" Aaah i loved it. Rightfully he claimed that he is her hubby and she is his wife... And eyelocks and looks in car spoke volumes...

Ishita once realized the truth her maturity syncs with his heart her heart goes through a thorough preservation as to what he is doing why he is doing for whom is he doing and how important is that subject to his life and heart woah what an analysis my lady take a bow...

The rain scene: it has sp in depth meaning just like their relation!! Fabulous dialogues, his pain tornado ride to blurt out his volcano of heart too front seat and seeking her to be his sarathi in this war of principles and blood and love.

Here Rama can be compared to Arjuna in Mahabarat and Ishita - lord Krishna

This reminds of the scene where arjuna backs off from the war field in front of lord Krishna saying how can he kill his own blood or fight and Lord Krishna explaining him bhagawadgeetha.

Amazing portrayal of the strong responsibilities a righteous parent has to do will anyways fall in his brains but what about righteous hubby... So he will pour out his fears to ishu just as Arjuna did in front of Krishna and Krishna making him realize his responsibility as a valour and being with him in thick and thin

Yes the love Ishita has for him is immense, she now understands why he was doing all this and she knows that he went through so much. He made himself look so bad just for his son. Therefore she said that she'll wait for him to come to her and she trusts that he will do it. Raman at the same time said that he will go to her and tell her whats in his heart. What a connection between the two👏

i simply loved the monologues coz of reason u told n thts CONNECTION..the monologues were totally in sync with each other..

Oh I forgot to add the Window said so much, spoke millions. This just shows how well these two understand each other. Also the way of Ishita hinting him was amazing and him trying to tell her what he is going through was so symbolic.

I completely agree with you and what you said about Raman, I also think the Param fight scene brought them much closer. Since Raman and her both realized they need each other.

Also today I am glad Raman finally realized and first person he went to confide in was Ishita because he trusts her, he knows she will guide him and support him through thick and thin.

at time of crisis,the 1st person u remember is the one whom u value the most n Raman proved who it is by monday 😳😳

End of this day this track has turned out to be amazing, it has gotten ishra closer in a different way not physically but emotionally they are one.
