Beautifully written, Lucky! I loved how you described Raman's thought process and encounters in the rain with Ishita: two strangers, unwilling participants, walking the same path to the same destination; how the rain brings out the best in her and the worst in him, but still always reflects some aspect of their current dynamic. Beautiful use of rain as a metaphor! 👏

I realized after reading this now that rains have an implicit connection to the new turns which they take in their relation which is non-quintessential, uncanny, mature, realistic yet adorable!😊

Raman, Raman, Raman... What can I say about this complex man? Sighs. You've tried to pen his inner turmoil for a mere couple minutes of his life. But the man is complex and he is equally amusing. His character always throws me for the loop and then I go back to my initial impression of him (You know I'm not a huge fan of his "angry" side. 😛).

Moving on to this piece [I've ranted enough. Sighs.], it was beautifully written. Very well in sync with the happenings of the show. Maybe, just maybe, you helped me to understand Raman a bit more.

Ah I cant decide which one is more beautiful in this rain series but I am partial to this one may be because as much heartbreaking as Ishita' version is... his is just as beautiful and the way you have ended this - with him thinking her soul happens to be purer than his ... damn that killed me Lucky.

I mean its so profound for a man like RKB to admit this...he was so disillusioned with women in general that he had all but convinced himself that they are nothing but rotten scoundrels who just happen to have a pretty packaging and here comes this woman out of nowhere - she is simple, ordinary and in his case literally the girl next door ... and she ends up changing his life, his views on the world and more importantly himself.

I find it such a beautiful contradiction here - that a woman he once loved made him the worst version of himself, brought out the most terrible aspect of him and here is this woman who he is yet to really fall in love with - go head over heels for her and she... she makes him want to be a better man, she makes him feel inferior without even trying to show off any superiority - she just is being herself and that... that's what gets to him... and I don't even know what I am saying here honestly LOL but I guess you understand my gist right? 😳
