Part 6(A)

Peaceful!

Raman's Room was all gloomy.

He was all sad pacing across the room.
I wonder what these two had to talk. And Ishita? she didn't even wait for the family to move in sabke samne andar chali gayi uske saath. And papers what papers? Kahi wo divorce papers? Nahi Ishita aisa kabhi nahi karegi woh Ruhi se bahut pyaar karti hai!

He was about to rush to Ruhi's room when he saw her return.

"Ruhi aaj Amma ke gar rahegi uske room mein Armaan hai!"

Shit! That means she'll sleep on the couch. But still acha hai baat karne ka time milega.
As it is JKR avoid karne mein koi kasar nahi jhod rahi. Sidha pooch he leta hu...

"Ishita... wo papers?"
"Haan... Kal court chalo mil jayenge..." Raman was stunned is an understatement.
"Ishita tum aise kaise kar sakti ho?"
"Aur aap kaise bhi kar sakte ho?" Ishita asked with equal anger.
Raman wanted to hold her in his arms question her harshly but he couldn't, he couldn't hurt her. If she wanted then he had to let her free. He loved her but if she didn't then he couldn't force her.
I'll die without her but if I force her, I won't be able to live. But I can't let her go just like that. Kum se kum ek mauka toh mang se sakta hu na?

"Mein tumse bus maafi mangna chahta tha, har cheez ke liye. Janta hu ki Adi ke liye kehkar nahi bach sakta kyuki maine tumhe hurt kiya, par I promise phir nahi karonga. Aur haan mein tumse mafi mange bina wo nahi karna chahta tha lakin mein tumhe kissi aur ke saath nahi dekh paya..."

Ishita's thoughts: Boliye Raman, Boliye ke aap mujhse pyaar karte hai...
Raman's thoughts: Mein bolna chahta hu duniya ko batana chahta hu ke main tumse pyaar karta hu but tumhe iss wajah see apne se bandhkar hurt nahi karna chahta, Ishita...

"Thik hai jaise tum chahti ho waise he hoga, maine tumhe hurt kiya hai, I deserve this..."
Ishita looked into his eyes. It was the first time she saw a vulnerable Raman. A Raman who was exposed to love again... Finally he broke the eye lock and started walking away dejected to the bed.

Ishita saw him. She expected him to forcefully question her, but he didn't.
Raman sach mein bahut hurt hai.. Wo itna hurt hai lakin meri khush ke liye kuch nahi bol rahe. Raman aap mujhse pyaar karte hai ye ab mujhe aapse sunne ke koi zaroorat nahi aapne mujhe bina kuch bole he sab bata diya Raman... Main unhe bata deti hu
Nahi Nahi plan?
Par Raman?

"Raman?" She called for him as he lay down.
"Haan" He got up immediately. Ye Ishita itni sad kyu lag rahi hai?
"Wo aap kal court ke baad mere saath temple chlenge? Amma kehte hai, married couples ko waha par zaroor jana chahiye aur kal court ke baad humari Ek Saath nayi zindigi ki beginning hai toh aap chelnge blessings lene mere saath?"
Raman was happy he didn't miss that Ek Saath in the sentence, as Ishita wanted.

"Haan, Zaroor! Kyu nahi?" Raman nodded.

Ishita was about to smile but again put on the mask of indifference. "I wonder ye blessing jaise kuch magic kardenge!" Ishita humped and went to the bathroom to change.
Raman heard her but he was too happy to be sad at that.
Matlab wo papers, Divorce papers nahi hai! Toh phir kya hai? Jo bhi ho who cares! Ishita mere saath rahegi! Matlab ab mein usse mana sakta hu... mein nahi marunga! He hit his head at that. Mera matlab hai usse force nahi karna padega naa hi jhodna.
If I were a kid I would have started dancing on the bed. Haan, bed! With that he got up with a start and poured the water jug on the couch so that Ishita is left with no option but to sleep on the bed.

Ishita came out. She lifted the quilt and kept it on the couch. She was about to sit when she noticed it was all wet.
Agar mujhe sahi yaad hai toh jab mein aayi thi tab toh ye dry tha phir ye pani?

"Wo actually mujhse gir gaya." Raman said with a straight face, but Ishita could bet she saw him smile.
Ya right gir gaya ya jaan booch kar giraya?
"Hmmm."

"Tum bed par so jao..."

"Nahi mein Ruhi ke kamre mein so jati hu!"

Ruhi ke karme mein? Yaar yelo! Pe gaya Panga. Agar couch pe soti toh kum se kum room to same hota. Lakin Ruhi ka room? Wait waha toh Armaan... Grr... He grinded his teeth.

"But Armaan hai naha waha par?" He questioned almost ready to jump off the bed and bolt the door before Ishita could go.

"Oh." Ishita noticed him ready to jump of the bed and ate back the giggle that started bubbling down her throat.

"Thik hai."

She also smiled at Raman's childish act and came to the bed to sleep.

Raman mentally showed that looser Armaan ( Really Raman ?? ) his tongue.
After so many nights finally they had slept with a content smile on their faces with an assurance they will be together...

Ishita, one woman army

The next morning as decided Ishita left for Shagun's place before the court.

Shagun's Place
Ishita and Shagun were arguing in the hall.
Ishita was angry. She couldn't see someone playing with her family and a child's emotion like that. "Tum kaise maa ho? Tum itni selfish ho. Adi naam use karke kudh ko bacha rahi ho?"
Shagun acted innocent. "Kya bakkwas kar rahi ho?"
Ishita retorted back, "Really? Bakwaas? To phir batao tumne agar meri amma ka accident kiya tha to unse aake mafi kyu nahi mangi? Balki Raman ko ye kaha ki Adi tumhare bina kaise rahega? Really? JAise wo abhi tumhare saath hai? Tumhe aaj tak kabhi apne social circle se fursat mili hai? Yaha tak ki apne bache ke uniform ka size bhi nahi pata. Waha us shop keeper ne bataya tha mujhe ki tumne age ke hisab se size mangvaya tha. No wonder, wo chota tha.
"Adi mera bacha hai, aur mein uski maa, tum kon hoti ho beech mein bolne wali."
"Ushe bacche ki behen ki maa! Shagun tum kaisi maa ho? Apne conforts ke liye Raman ko jhod diya aur aaj tak Adi ko ye bataya ki usne tumhe jhoda. Really?"
"Dekho Ishita, Raman mujhe wo sab nahi de sakta tha jo Ashok desakta tha. Maine isley Raman ko jhoda tha?"
"Toh phir Adi ko kyu door kiya Raman se?"
"I love Adi."
"No. I don't think so because if you did then you wouldn't have separated Adi from his father."
"Raman humari Zaroorate kabhi poori nahi kar sakta tha. Wo Adi ko nahi kush Rakh pata!"
"Wo Rakh sakta tha agar tum usse luxuary ki faltu aadat nahi dalte! Shagun tum pyaar ko nahi khareed sakti! Aur naa hi Raman ke Adi ke taraf beintehaa pyaar fayda nahi utha sakti.. Aaj court mein tumhe negligent mother prove karke tumse Adi ki custody leloongi!"
With that Shagun started laughing. "Kya kaha custody? Mera beta kabhi uske liye haan nahi karega. Aur tum toh janti ho na bacche ka decision bahut matter karta hai. Raman aur tum haro ge!"
Ishita was now filled with rage at this women's audacity. "Tum kamal ho Shagun. Abhi bhi Haar jeet ki padi hai! Don't you worry chahe Adi ka decision kuch bhi ho uski Ishima uska saath degi. Main uska pyaar jeet longi. Mein usse itna pyaar doongi ki usse kabhi tumhari in luxuries ki yaad nahi ayegi! Wo abhi to tumhari sikhayi line bolta hai par mein use pyaar karne wala, pado ki respect karne wala Aditya Raman Kumar Bhalla banoogi. Ek esa beta jo aaj tak maa ka matlab galat samajhta aaya, use maa ka matlab Ishita Bhalla hota hai, ye samjhaungi!" With that a lone tear escaped her eyes. That tear was painless for Ishita but one pair of eyes felt the pain. That figure felt pain.

Ishita turned around and saw Ashok. He looked a bit disturbed. However Ishita ignored him and went away. When she was about to step out of the house she turned around and said, "12 o' clock court ka notice aaya hoga. Pahuch jana."

The impact of our Lecture Iyer was so strong that it even shook Shagun but she was too over confident to notice that she was losing... losing everything... maybe her son... maybe also her boyfriend...
