Simmi would have tried to warn Romi but he wouldn't have answered the phone so she would have told Param about it as she is in close contact with him and asked him what to do..
Param would have assured her that he'll take care of it and that he is on his way to meet her..
While driving he would have seen amma and decided to hit her
He drives a white car too as shown in the epi where he meets Ishita after he's out of jail
He is the only one who also has a vested interested in harming Amma as he knows Ishita will be terribly affected by that and he wants to take revenge against Ishita for ratting him out.
Also we got a pic on twitter of Raman all beaten up
There was a news article that Param was gonna be leaving or out of the serial for a while ..
So all this adds up ..I think RAman will find out it was Param who did it when he goes to the farmhouse ..there he'll beat param black and blue and get hurt himself ...and then he'll hand him over to the police so that will serve as a clean exit of param from the serial ...(instead of doing a vanishing act like some other cast members)
