My goodness, this was absolutely brilliant. I felt as though I was inside Raman's mind, and I could feel the angst it was that palpable through your words. In fact, it did brilliantly, not only to portray Raman's pain as a fictional character, but even that of a real man going through the real emotions. Especially, the last part where he concludes that he hadn't been in love before. It was such a nice way to reach that understanding. Loved it! 👏

Thank you for your kind words 😊

So sorry for being late Lucky 😳

Gal you are amazing with these drabbles Thank you :)

A woman who gave me two children, the reason for my being
.
I wanted to be the man she was looking for
I wanted to be the epitome of success
I wanted to own the world

These are so true to Raman - the one who forgot even himself in his blind obsession to be the most successful man he could be - the woman he loved so much did end up being the reason and motivation of his success but in the process he lost the better part of himself along the way. She gave him the world by giving him two kids he adores more than anything, unfortunately she also shattered that same world and left it in ruins. He wasn't enough for her though for him her love was all that was needed, it was more than enough and he couldn't have that one thing.

No, sir, I didnt want to be in love ever again

he was willing for most anything but risking his heart once again, he knew he cannot take the pain and the sheer soul crushing, heart wrenching experience ever again - which he feared is all he could have and would have - oh I feel for him 😭 I do too

I saw her yesterday as she walked in, looking the best anyone had ever seen her
But they were all so misguided by her looks
They didn't see her alluring soul like I did
She accosts the man in me
She appeals to that long-lost father in me
She cannot give me any children but is the best mother my child could ever have
She remains unfazed by my success
She is moved when I am better, not richer
She bonds me with my family
She is my family now

I am a fool... I was never in love before

those last few lines and that quote Lucky oh wow I have to pick up Love in the Time of Cholera asap, I am yet to read it especially his acknowledgement that what he had with Shagun wasn't Love to begin with ... damn I am speechless ❤️

Beautiful hon absolutely amazing keep em coming Thanks Aani... truly appreciate your feedback

Love ya
