res 😳
Hey Nikks lovely post
sorry for editing this post so late man I am so bummed because of so much load shedding I tell ya 😡
Anyways getting back to the post I am loving these baby steps the CVs are taking that are actually monumental in their own ways in IshRa' relationship.
LOL the first scene where Raman is fuming over the necklace is so funny 😆 being the control freak he is now and priding himself on his impeccable taste and correct estimation of people he cannot accept his gift was rejected and called gaudy too at that by his own wife no less!! That has hurt him totally but beneath it also a emotional factor - he wants there to be some ground where he and Ishita have common tastes you know, some sorta equinox among them, Like he grumbled to that RJ the other day... he wants a common ground and badly. And he is so so desperate to dance... and dance only with her he cannot complaint!
This coming from the man who was the least bothered about his and Ishita' gruhprivesh and wanted to return to office in a jiffy post marriage - things have changed and how! He couldn't be rude enough to her before but now he has to THINK of the appropriate time to be rude to her 😛
of course in came Ishu and the whole scene was taken to another level - with her DOST angle. Not only Raman even we never saw that coming!😆😆 And so I wasn't surprised at his comments and hesitation for this impromptu coffee date. But of course say the magic word - Ruhi and Raman is tamed 😆in a moment he went from are you crazy to let me get ready and with so much resignation and care turned her around 😆 though the bit I loved best was after the phone calls with Tandon - LOL, he was still pissed off enough to not want to go but Ishita proved smarter and that is exactly what she said when he asked her kya samajthi ho khudko?
And Mr. RKB was outsmarted and cornered and he KNEW it! Wifey is a match for him alright in every which way 😎 😆😆
Next came the coffee date and I think this one is my fav to date - the recurring misunderstanding theme persisted here as well but what I loved was of course the friendship angle - Raman wanting to be Ishita' DOST after all and insisting her to speak her mind and how even though he feigned disinterest he was totally listening to her every word carefully - note the change in his expressions when Ishu says he cant do simple things but even if he does them, you push him enough the next moment its back to square one - he does something to put it all to waste... and he actually reflected on that... or may be he understood she is seeing right through him, his tactics and he felt weird about that... he learned she observes and understands just as much.
And of course the bit about him asking her innocently as Rama 😆😆 there has to be something good about your husband why are you tolerating the man otherwise? He so wants to know the impression he has made on her beyond the rude, arrogant man - wants to find out what she thinks of him now - post two months of marriage and living under the same roof. His Tamil thank you speech was his humble acceptance of how he misunderstood her in the past... he wants to know if he has made a dent in her mind, in that image he created earlier and when she wouldn't reply he assumed its all for naught and he lost patience and got angry. Deep down he wants to impress Ishita badly. He wants that respect, affection, love, care he never found in Shagun in Ishita, in this marriage. This man is starved for love, for companionship and he is too scared to show it.
I have a feeling Rama will keep popping up now whenever the CVs need her 😆 I dunno why but a weird thought came to me - every damn show has the hero dress up in drag one time or another and we learned the name of Raman' feminine alter-ego even before it made an appearance and whats fun is his wifey is responsible for the naamkaran 😆😆
And the last scene - while Raman was looking his usual self - the women suddenly seemed to have discovered him and before Ishu makes an appearance he is grumpy bear personified and once he notices her voila in comes prince charming 😆😆
Though the bit here that I find noteworthy is Ishu admitting she is lucky - she had hurt him as it is for now - this she felt was the least she could do for him - let him be happy and bask in the attention, else she would have replied to him like the other day don't be deluded you are Mogambo not Mr. India 😆😆 - she could have very well said those gals have only seen you...not HEARD you... let them stick for two minutes after Raavan Kumar makes an appearance! 🤣
And Raman finally got to make a dig in reply to her I am smart comment when he said who said you can think 😆😆 that was his comeback for earlier and he was pissed about her not changing - LOL he doesn't admit it but he wants his wife to outshine the other women in the party, he knows she can do that and he cannot wait to show her off - have her on his arm and be the envy of other men. The earlier two times she dressed in western outfits they were only within the confines of their home - this is his chance and he was angry because he felt even that got wasted.
Cant wait for tonight and I hope the dance is actually shown this week - since it seems there are more filler scenes amidst the spoilers and the week is actually slower 😳
Many feel IshRa are already in love but I beg to differ... this is the beginning of love not LOVE itself... this is companionship - the basis of a long-lasting relationship which got another foundation last night - after trust and respect in friendship, love isnt far behind but its still away - the last pillar - that of understanding and being comfortable enough to talk about their past and heartbreaks will cement it 😳
