Ekta mayyii always loves drama and the shock factor in her serials, so I won't be surprised if they go on to show that subbu's mom was behind all this. however, I think it would be a bit more realistic if they show that ishita just had a minor infertility issue.

@red - I like this explanation for a weird reason -another member Parul I am conversing with on this thread pointed out the same thing this is purely a power struggle for the woman where she triumphed by rejecting Ishita but the power remains solely as long as Ishita doesnt fight back.

When she learned because of Ishu' mom Ishita has found another guy richer than Subu and better than him I think it made her madder - to think a girl she rejected ended up in a place where her son has not yet reached. SO in her twisted mind perhaps this is her way of lashing out at Ishita.

She cannot tolerate that Ishu moved on and found someone whose family has started to love Ishu for the person she is. She has this huge EGO that belittles Raavan Kumar' in my opinion

@blue - now wont that be something! but I doubt it Shagun would do so - she cant come back to Raman, she has no other place to go and she is way too materialistic to even trade in her self-respect to stay with Ashok. But if it does happen that would be really unexpected and honestly huge in terms of what people are expecting and predicting of Shagun' fate eventually.
