Hey people! So, it certainly looks like i'm here after ages, doesn't it? I also haven't been able to reply to all of those valuable reviews but i promise to get that done as soon as possible. Till then, enjoy the newest poem.

So, i actually got kinda inspired by Taylor Swift's newest song called Gorgeous and this is perfectly in line with that because that tune was playing in my head while i was writing this, lol. Therefore you can try and listen to that song before reading if you want. This one deals with the subject of cheating and divorce in a light and hopeful way.

LIFE GOES ON

I never knew my heart was this fragile,
Running into devastation in sartorial style,
Ranting in pieces to the blasphemous goodbyes,
In her embrace and i looked at the skies.

For he ran into someone whose love was better than mine,
Freeing my love of its lustre and shine,
A blow from his crowbar and my trust wasn't fine,
Talking of separation and i gladly signed.

His was my love who was wicked and vain,
Welled up in tears leaving my white pillows stained,
I cursed at his memory and called for restraint,
Hard i did try but was sobbing in pain.

I surmised at last that hope had been faint,
Dumped pointless broods and it slowly rained,
I knew my life was but a dramatic bane,
But i thought it was worth living again.
