Episode starts with cute anushka virat flashback scene. virat invites anushka home as a friend he is dating sheetal. dida praises Anushka's authentic Bengali sari and anushka says it's her mum's. Dida talks about virat not having a mother and that she told virat stories as a kid. Virat enters, he has a problem wearing a dhoti. dida (like Virat's dadi) likes anushka and declares she will be her bahu and presents her with some bangles. virat is stunned. in present Anushka is adoring the bangles given by dida.

in present Kersey wants Anushka to represent Prashant Radhakrishnan (husband of a wife who committed suicide) in potential abetment of suicide case. Anushka finds him fishy and she didn't like his offscreen persona. Kersey says its business Anushka says let me remind you we are lawyers not businessmen.
