So I know we are all feeling why Parth needed to tell his Mom that he liked Vibha. Well, love is a wonderful feeling, and he had always shared everything with his Mom. The only person that had been close to him all his life was his Mom. So he wanted to share this special feeling with her. He had no idea that she wouldn't understand. He was so excited and happy when he was talking about her. He also tried to make her understand that she was only an assistant teacher and was only two years older than them. He was trying to maker her understand that nothing was wrong in that. And he was surprised that his Mom didn't approve, he even went on to tell her that till the point she thought her son liked some girl it was okay, but the minute she found out it was his teacher, things suddenly took a wrong turn in her mind?
As far as Parth's thinking goes, he always believed there was nothing wrong in a student teacher friendship, and obviously it evolved into something more, and he didn't see why people would have issues with that. He obviously wanted his Mom to be a part of his happiness, but sadly, things didn't work out that way!
So let's not all think Parth did the wrong thing. He went with his heart and tried to share his happiness with his Mom.
