yes you can download vids from youtube and put it in wmm..only thing is that you will need to convert the file into a file that is compatible to wmm.. vids from youtube are in .flv format that will not work in wmm or any other movie maker.. to convert them to .mov/.wmv/.mpg etc go to zamzar.com/url and just copy past the youtube link and put the output vid as .mov/.mpeg or whatever you want.. and type in yoru email and click convert... OR you can download your own converter [total video converter]

personally i like sony vegas better than wmm, it has more options and the output quality of the video is better..only downside is that you'll have to put in time into learning how to work it..but onc eyou'v figured that out..its pretty rewarding

download the video and edit it using any kind of movie maker...

all you have to do is drag the ends of the video to where you want it and publish it as a totally new vid.. just make sure you're not clipping anything off of anyone else's work and its an original video..or atleast get permission of the person :)

^^if you use sony vegas..it is the cookie cutter effect..just put one video in the timeline an the other clip directly above taht same video in another timeline..and then put the cookie cutter effect on the top video... play around w/ it until you get the size/shape you want

hey help needed i am a begginer in making vm, so i wanted to know the basic process for it i'd be really greatful

u've suggested i use sony vegas, can u plz give me the link to downlad it, all sites i found are only having a trial version, i'd be really gr8ful

also, does this sony vegas also convert videos or it is used only to make video mixes

plz do help me

i'd be really appreciable if i cud find the answer to my queries

i need to make a vm soon

Go ahead and download the trial version.. [download.com >>search sony vegas 9.0]

go to isohunt.com and search for 'sony vegas keygen' or 'sony vegas patch'

it should have instructions on how to install the keygen/patch

basically what a keygen/patch is a hacker which can go into the program and make it a forever version of the program... for more help you can go to 'youtube.com' and search for 'sony vegas keygen' or 'sony vegas patch' they should have FULL detailed instructions on there...

there a many options on getting it..i don't know if i am allowed to post it here so therefore the best ways to obtain it is to google it or follow what i've tld you

sony vegas does not convert videos.. you can use 'zamzar.com' for that or download a video converter... zamzar is a good realiable site but it can take sometime before it emails you the final format [max: 1 day emailing and then expires after 24 hrs the email has been sent]

other video converters such as 'total video converter' works fine and you get it instantly on your desktop/whereever you saved it but sometimes it doesn' always convert and you have to something else... thats just by chance though...

sony vegas basically makes videos for mixes etc.. you can also mix audio and stuff.. YOU CAN CONVERT FORMAT ONLY IF IT CAN BE IMPORTED TO VEGAS! which means.. you can convert .mov to .wmv etc [this can be done by rendering it as a diff. file extension].. but if it won't even come into vegas then you cannot convert it ..like you cannot import .flv into vegas..so you'll have to convert .flv to something else before getting it into vegas to use
