eveyone in the serial uses word aap for calling another whether it is maa saheb shivba and saibai. generally as i have seen husbands say tum and wives say aap to each other. but here shivba uses aap for saibai. many people dont like it. they say it is better to use tum as it looks more real and lovely. what you think ?

Yea in royal families you say aap to everyone in the family, i think its pretty cool that they use aap for each other!

even normal families especially in MP, the parents will use aap for their kids,

now its just more of how you want to do it, some people say aap for everyone, some one call their mom as tum (which to me is appalling!!!)

I think it's lovely that Shivaji reciprocates the respect shown towards him by Saibai. Very rarely do husbands address their wives as such. It's so sweet!

I don't feel calling your own mom as tum is appalling...It depends on perspective..I prefer calling my mom as Tu(in marathi) because she is so close to me and calling aap seems a formal addressal and creates a barrier while cracking/sharing any jokes with her..though I call Tumhi while addressing my dad as I am more closer to my mom than dad. Same thing applies to other relations..depending on how close you are u prefer to call that person in that manner.

Ya ...in olden times all the kings addressed their wives as aap...most of the times...royal etiquettes you know😉

I agree with LiveHappy...such things depend on perspectives as well as the surroundings...in some of the krishna bhajans ...krishna addresses Yashoda maiya as 'Tu'...so it totally depends

Tu kitni bholi hai
Tu kitni pyari hai
o maa meri maa (i know it's not a krishna bhajan..but a film song)

main kabhi batlata nahi
teri parwah karta hun main maa...(again its teri)

okay ...i guess my post is getting off-topic ...and becum an antakshari😆 ...so i m running😛
